That's what I'm looking for my got "pushed" into the door and "lost"😂
I would love to have that Burlwood trim in mine as it is faded, mine is the Ivory interior too, but that black interior looks way better.
It's weird how all the other trims seem to hold up well except for the burlwood. Anyway, after I removed mine, had about a dozen emails, I sold mine locally
@@ExoticCarDIY Read where there was a Class Action for the trim, looks like MB would pay for most of the cost. Not that I trust my dealer, mind you.

What about the wood trim on the center console and center stack?
By the way not sure about US, but for UK you have to turn that 'unique clip 90 Degrees, NOT 180.

Local friend who swapped for carbon. Only other place I've seen then is used on eBay, FB or the forums

I got the magic clip out but how in the world do I get the “Key” out to reset it so that it can clip back in???
My “key” is stuck half way in and the little arms are pushed in so it unlocked and came out
But now re assembling the door panel, just can not get them reset to get them back in.
To be honest, I struggled with these keys a lot. I never got my key stuck in there, but I had the hardest time getting the pins to reset correctly so the pin could be reinserted.
They are of course made of plastic, so they kind of have a deformed memory I found it jam them on a set of needle nose pliers for a few minutes they would undeform.
While the Mercedes designed under reusable, you're almost better off replacing them.

Yes, I feel those are designed to be replaced every time they are taken out. I put the car now back together without them and the 9 clips plus 2 screws seem sufficient.

@@MattShonan I was doing a friend's car, and we just could not get it to work, I simply use a regular plastic push to lock type fastener that I had in my toolbox and it worked perfect.

I bought them used from a friend.
I've never had good luck with the cheap carbon toppers, but it all comes down to personal preference

Mine has the B&O speakers, not sure about the Harman kardon. But I believe they're all 6 ¾ or 6 ½ for the main door speakers

Any links to buy the dash trim online?
With the exception of putting the part numbers in on any Mercedes-Benz OEM parts website, really the only option is to find them used on formus like MBworld or Benzworld or eBay. To my knowledge there are no aftermarket options
How much for the trim pieces you took out if you've not sold them yet ? Your trim pieces, which look like burl walnut, don't look faded. My 2014 E350 are very faded. Thank you , and hope you had a great father's day.

Yes my bro would pieces looked perfect and pristine, no fading at all as of now I still have them, I'm currently looking for another E63 and wanted to have them around in case they were faded to... But if I don't need them I'll sell them. I'll know in a few weeks

The trims all come down to person preference. I definitely think some interior collars much better with different trims.
I tend to prefer dark colors on interior panels like the piano, black ash, and carbon
