Michael Anthony what a amazing Musician, the backbone vocalist for VH. It was only fitting for him to sing a original VH song. Brings back some memories. Thank you for that moment to make more memories. I'm sure Eddie's spirit was with us all. We miss you Ed.

Mike was so important to Van Halen. I saw them for the first time in 1979. Mike is the consummate rock and roller. He made the right decision moving over to Sammy

Michael Anthony was the hardcore unsung hero of VH. While David and Eddie fought for the title of leader in VH. Michael simply got it done. We the fans lost way too many years of great music with these legends. My personal opinion is Dave was the ultimate front man but Sammy was the ultimate voice.

i would rather hear Mike sing the old stuff these days than Dave. Sammy and the Circle is just badass. those 4 guys have stayed true to their fans!

Mike is an amazing talent. That being said, this is one song that you need Dave and Ed for. The energy they bring to it just sells it. They still did a great job though.

Michael absolutely kills it. He sounds more like Roth than Roth did. Mind you, I just loved Roth’s lyrics. Hey man, that suit is you!/Woo-whee! You'll get some leg tonight for sure!/Tell us how you do! Hoo hoo ho. No one else could have sung that and kept a straight face. Just genius.
If this rumored Van Halen tour happens, it should be Sammy and Michael on vocals ;-). Dave doesnt have it anymore and im blown away by Michaels vocals on this. The rumors of bringing in someone else on bass is bogus. If Van Halen tours under that name it needs to be the remaining members still willing to tour and if Roth is retired then hes retired. At that point let Michael sing those songs and Sammy sing his ya know ;-) But I still cant imagine a tour under the name Van Halen happening without Eddie. They should call it something else if they tour. Anywhoo thats just my thoughts on that. This was good stuff here.

Mikey actually sings, rather than spoken word, even Sammy doesn't have the pipes for the pitch of some of the earlier tracks. Gary Cherone really did a great job in 1998 live.

He never did, DLR did. The horrific 2004 reunion tour - Mike sang it in Hershey, Pa. EVH was background vocals.
@@thelordofhellaz - Legally? Curious, how so. Since Jason and Vic didn't write this and are playing it. Seems more of Sammy's ego. He never was onboard with signing DLR material. He only sang two - three DLR original songs on tour while in the band.
