    The new Alto Professional Truesonic TS3 Series does everything you demand in a no-compromise family of professional loudspeakers. These speakers solve every performance and installation challenge you have. They are high-performance in every sense: Their new transducers and amplifiers enable them to play extremely loud and clear, without compromise or restriction. And they are “high-performance” from a concept and manufacturing standpoint-we made sure that every aspect of their design outperformed what it had to do. The end result are loudspeakers that achieve a level of excellence and refinement that defies expectations. Defies your expectations.
    There are four models in the new TS3 range: The TS308, TS310, TS312 and TS315, with 8-10-12- and 15-inch woofers respectively. The range shares a new 2000-watt peak (1000-watt continuous) amplifier.
    These models boast all-new low-frequency drivers, designed to play louder and handle more power than their already-impressive predecessors, the wildly-successful TS2 Series. They also have a new horn-loaded high-frequency driver. This impressive transducer has a brand-new heat sink design that provides exceptional heat dissipation for impressive power-handling, even at all-night-long concert levels. Because these new drivers can safely handle the additional power, the TS3’s take full advantage of the increased wattage and will play at higher SPLs with lower distortion.
    We’ve even made the TS3’s easier to use, with an updated control panel and clearer control indications and detents that make for a faster, more precise setup. 2000 watts of bi-amplified power, newly-designed drivers and easier, more satisfying controls and setup-the new TS3 range doesn’t merely meet your requirements. It makes you re-think what’s possible.

    Hi! I play in a couple of bands moslty in bars/venues. In some gigs i sing others i just play electric guitar or even both. when i play guitar i always have to carry around a heavy guitar amp. So im looking for the most easy and light portable solution that could be used for both singing and playing guitar as a main rig (sometimes not connected to pa system) . Keeping in mind the lighter the better,Do you think the lighter TS308 is enough for my needs or should i go for the larger TS310? thank you very much

    Any news about the subs? I mean, I want to buy some ts3 loudspeakers, but I need subwoofers to fill my gigs and I would like to have some that can match the power of the mid-high speakers in a single box instead of having to buy more subwoofers than loudspeakers. Also, I like to deal with 1single brand and not having to buy something from one and other things from the other and so on. Thanks

      Great question everyone is asking me that question here in the showroom, I will press the Alto Rep next week for details. Note Alto Launched the TS3 one Year earlier the expected, The TS2 Subwoofers are still some of the most popular subs and hardest to find in stock. if you look at the TS315 for tops you would need a TS215Sub for each Top.
      I will try and Update this post next week for you.

      Quote from inside Sales Rep for Alto Canada "There is Incoming stock from the Factory till the end of the year of the TS212sub, TS215Sub, and TS218Sub."
      So it looks Like nothing in the Pipe for Now (2018).

    I use 2 TS212 and the red signal limit LED lights up occasionally (usually when all microphone inputs are on), the ground lift and contour buttons are both pressed down; am I sending too much signal on it? Any advice? I run on it an almost fullband setup; one electric guitar, keys, a bass and 2-Mic drum input (kick and overhead) and about 6 microphones (All wireless and I think 4 of them are High Gain). Hope you have advices.

    Between the Alto TS308 and the QSC K8.2, which are both rated at 2000W:
    - Which do you think has the loudest HF driver?
    I won’t ask for the LF driver, as there is no doubt that the QSC one’s is louder, simply judging by the total weight of the speaker (12,2 kg - 26,85 lbs vs 9,2 kg - 20,25 lbs)

    • @miespost

    Comparing to Alto Trouper with the TS308 which is clearer and flatter?

    • @PURESOUND4
      @PURESOUND4 5 лет назад

      Not sure which one has a flatter response, but based on the specs on Alto's website, the TS308 plays much louder. I've got 2 troupers I use with an 18"sub, and they work fine at small to mid size weddings (75-150 ppl), but if I do a larger gig (200-300 ppl) I use my TS110A spkrs, since they get louder than the troupers. These TS3 speakers sound like they might be what I need for even larger outdoor jobs.

  • @lunchie80
    @lunchie80 5 лет назад

    All things being equal, 1100w to 2000w is less than 3db difference. Reality is that absolutely no part of that TS3 is anywhere near 2000w. More like 500 at most, total, and that's being generous. Its an 8" woofer after all, it will also use dynamic EQ to protect that little driver.
    85.7db at 2 feet is 104 to 105db at 1m. That's not very loud in reality for a 'pro' speaker. a 12" should manage 120+ at 1m which puts this little 8" into perspective. This would only be good for small gigs in quieter areas. A noisy pub would drown this thing out unless you were fairly close.

    • @robertreynolds9961
      @robertreynolds9961 3 года назад

      Actually they work quiet well as stage monitors. Sadly...stage monitoring and party djsi are about as far as alto goes performance wise. Maybe their subs can be part of a FOH system...but the 12s and 15s aren't good mains either.
