I made custom rosters myself with: Extra row with 4 extra characters (next to the other one) Extra row with 6 extra characters (under the no Mario characters row) Replacing one Inkling, peach and mario alts and one villager (they would become alts) Replacing inklings, peach and mario alts, one villager, dry bowser and dry bones (they would become alts) The characters added in the involving 4 were: Dixie, King Bob Omb, Monty Mole and Nabbit The ones involving 6 were: Dixie, King Bob Omb, Monty Mole, Nabbit, Honey Queen and Hammer bros. And no i dont think rob would come because he wouldnt fit anywhere else than in the bottom row, which has no space to him.
Nice prediction I love how you even made karts for every character with their colors my only complaint about the dlc characters we’ve gotten is that they all reused car colors instead of original colors
You shoulda shown the kart colors for the different variants of hammer bro, cause I’m assuming Ice bro would have blue karts and fire bro would have red.

The "every single country except the US" trailer clearly states "Wave 6 - 8 courses + 4 characters", unlike the US trailer, which simply states "Wave 6". _HOWEVER_ this only means that the 4 characters, and _ONLY_ the four characters are coming as part of _Wave 6_ with no additional characters being added as part of that Wave. It does _NOT_ however, mean that there will not be any more characters added as _additional_ DLC. IT simply means it won't be part of the "Wave 6" DLC. In short, when Wave 6 is released, we are ONLY getting Diddy, Funky, Pauline and Toadette. If we get any additional characters, these will be released _separately_ to Wave 6. For example, a hypothetical "Wave 7". tl;dr version: There could be more characters coming in addition to the four already confirmed, but they just won't be part of Wave 6, but a separate DLC release.
I made this video because I didn’t know how the CSS would be reorganized to fit people in without having to group them. It made sense to me that two of them go in the question marks, and the other two start a new row that will be filled by other characters that could be additional DLC but idk

Like you said, there could still be more characters added later on, to fill those other 4 slots. I'm referring to the videos that peolpe have made that literally say that "Wave 6 could be getting more characters", despite the fact that Nintendo confirmed that we are only getting 4 characters, _not_ necessarily, that we will not be getting any more characters _at all_ which is still possible, as you said.

In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, each character has a rival. This means when you play Grand Prix, one or two characters will always start upfront, and will usually play better than normal CPU’s. For this video, I only included characters from the mainline games (yes that includes Tour) as I felt those would be the ones who would most likely get added into the game. I do know that E. Gadd was planned as playable in Mario Kart at one time, and I just figured Paratroopa would be an alt/reskin for Koopa Troopa himself. 💀
