    I have this exact shed, but attaching anything to the walls has been difficult. I tried using the SC15 screws but they don't provide much strength.

    • @markbeshay

      Not the best shed for shelving you need a sturdy wood shed for that! These plastic walls are just sturdy enough not to fold in on themselves in the wind. If you do manage to install any shelving I wouldn’t recommend putting anything on them since even 5lbs of force will start to bend the walls out of the corners damaging them to a point they cannot be reinstalled.

    Purchased the 9x7 Cortina. Just in the process of building the floor. We have limited yard space. Video recommends 2 feet space on the back. Can we put this together leaving only a foot space behind. It looks like in the video that the roof supports can be installed from the inside. It also appears like the roof panels go in from the front. We have lots of room on the front and both sides but not the back. Please advise!

    • @markbeshay
      @markbeshay Год назад

      You can but keep in mind you will need to stand on each side to put in the base screws that attach to the shed walls as well as anything else you may need to reach from the outside of it. For example when putting up the walls you will get to point where you must be on the outside to clip in the corners to the walls. So as long as you can fit and use a drill it’ll be fine I ended up having just over a foot of extra space on 2/4 of the shed walls

      So got one from Costco but the 7x7 model, as I took everything out of the box to organize on the ground near the pad I was gonna set it up on-about 30 minutes later they completely warped from the sun beaming down on them they all went from flat to rounded since my yard isn’t very flat. And when putting screws in if you over tighten it shreds the soft plastic. Super easy to put together compared to metal or wood sheds just remember it’s plastic… not a very durable kind as well. I’d expect the lifespan to be anywhere from 5-10 years without any major issues, beyond that would be surprising tbh. Corners also don’t line up perfectly since they aren’t cut exactly the same slight differences at edges. Leaves a very ugly looking edge and all the wall pieces came PRE-dented so don’t worry about it getting scuffed or banged up during install KETER was kind enough to do that for you😭🤣🤣

      The Artisan shed has built in ventilation panels down each side. The heavy duty floor and sloped threshold are designed to deter pests. This video is for the Artisan 9x7 shed which requires a base of 279 x 216cm. For the Artisan 7x7, the base size needed would be 216 x 216cm.

    DO NOT RECOMMEND! I am very disappointed ... The shed itself is nice, but during the assembly, which I have done exactly pursuant to the video and the written guide provided by the manufacturer, the ladder (same as in the video) broke into the floor and damaged it. The problem is that the floor is hollow (just two quite thin plastic sheets with plastic ribs between them). If you put the ladder (or anything else heavy) outside the ribs, it breaks through the top sheet. The manufacturer denies any responsibility …

      Yes they can shift over time but unlike a solid concrete pad you can remove the affected blocks and level the surface below it and replace any affected areas fairly cheap and easy. However when the surface below concrete shifts it leads to cracking of the pad which cannot be as easily fixed and definitely cost more. With that being said, pavers “concrete blocks” cost more to install than a pad typically but that’s because of the added benefits you get as opposed to a concrete pad.
