Thanks for watching guys! Let me know if you have tried these kind of grips before and if there’s any better than the others?

I use the alien and they are fantastic. They are so tactile and feel like my hands are tacky and no slipping 👌👌.

I just purchased some grips for my winter clubs. They look real good. I may get these. ???? Hmmm?

I've been on the fence about wraps or regular grips. After seeing this, I'm heavily leaning towards regular grips. Yes, these are much easier to apply but they don't last.

Great, informative video Simon. I have been considering these grips as a stop gap until next spring.
As a suggestion, could you review the wraps that can be put on shafts to hide badly marked shafts? It would be very useful.
    Cheers.

I use alien wraps currently as my clubs are worth less than it would cost for a proper regrip and they work just fine, very similar to tennis racket grip wraps. They thicken the grip out abit which is nice for my big hands

Hi Simon I watched this video on golf grips ive looked at these grips but I'm also looking at grips called "yamato golf grips " also on amazon I'm thinking of getting the yamato grips roughly the same price but my question is have you heard of them or tried them as I can't find any videos of someone reviewing them.
Keep up the good work 👍

Hi simon, i buy tour velvet style grip for £2.99 each and fit them myself. Feel great and pretty soft. Don't think I'd waste my money on this product. Thanks for sharing all the same

Touch golf grips from ebay are a good buy for older clubs. They cost less than £2 a grip and will last a minimum of 12 months.

I live in Ireland, where the national sport is hurling. I put hurley grips on my clubs. Very durable,, and great to grip.

You can buy Karma golf grips for about $2.50 each. They're nice feeling grips and seem to be pretty durable. Not quite as good as the Lamkin cross lines, but better than similar overpriced Golf Pride grips, in my opinion.

Agreed. I’ve bought cheap grips online and they are very easy to fit. You definitely don’t need to spend much money for grips - certainly not £25 per grip. I’ve used them for a year and they are still perfect. I think the grips are a better option than these wraps.

They look dodgy Simon, I regrip all of my own clubs, it's therapeutic.
I can see why there's a market for these, but they're not for me.

Probably get better longevity using fake Golf Pride grips than these things and just as cheap too

The issue is when one regrip clubs with a proper grip takes much longer plus drying time so this is preferred for many in my opinion.
I just bought a couple to try it out on some great clubs i picked from a guy selling them out of his truck that need new grips.
Easy short term solution. Long term proper grips is obviously much better.

utter rubbish. You can get dirty cheap grips nowadays, like karma, star, etc., for aby 3-4 gbp max per grip. If they are tour velvet style you can actually carefully remove them washing machine them and then apply a light sand (freddy couples does) rub with alcohol and will last anotehr couple of years for 1 or 2 rounds per week as most average golfers do.
