This is perhaps the best card routine I have ever seen. The level of skill on display is mind-blowing. The guy has skill levels off the chart to be able to pull that off and make it look so effortless. Love the genuine gasps of astonishment from a FISM crowd - really what it should all be about.
An absolutely original, stunning display of visual magic. I love Patrick Lehnen's routine as much as anyone, but the originality of this routine deserved to win
in a FISM act you practice long time to master a thing you like. This was very beautiful to watch so here I bow for you. Thank you for such a great routine.
Yo Mike, the question is do YOU know what is happening? This is RUclips, where ALL KINDS of neat things exist like in this case would be sarcasm and Humor, get it ? Mike ?
I can SEE some of those switches and flips because I know them, but everything is so well put together and the complexity of the routine is just mindblowing. The finale was astounding, I did not expect that. He totally deserves this win!
Beautiful, rarely have I seen anything as pretty and I refuse to gloss over the choice of the song as well. Bravo, glad you won 1st place it was deserved but 1st place or not you truly have a remarkable piece. Thank you for sharing it here and Thank you VanishLive if not for the link in your email I never would have seen this.
the cards have multiple layers, you can see at 2:55 when he moves the green lightbulb (misdirection), he flips the layer on the card with the thumb. but very good sleigh of hand
I think performances with great music are alot better than performances where the magician is trying to act like a comedian. It just gives a more mysterious vibe to it.
Have to say that I wasn't impressed in the beginning with the two lights, but once the yellow and all those were added, you won me over. Went from what I thought was a very basic routine to something beautiful, nice work. And congrats!
If possible, I don't know if it is, I'd really like to see this performed from just one recording. I understand the cuts to show the different times you've recorded it and to show better angles of the effects (or perhaps to even hide other ones), but I just found the different cuts to be a little distracting.
nice trick. whenever i hear music from a movie i have seen i always have a hard time remembering what movie it was from. when i heard the opening music i spent a solid 15 minutes trying to figure out where i have heard it. i finally got it...AMERICAN BEAUTY!
It was very enjoyable overall, but at such a close range, it was actually fairly easy to catch some of the sleight of hand, even on the first view in regular motion. 3:57 jumped out at me particularly as well as a couple other ones mentioned below. Still, I love the art form and the technique and ingenuity in creating such a trick, it would simply be better viewint it as an audience member from a further away.
This trick is very well thought out and great sleight of hand. I've been practicing the move he does for 6 months and I am not even close to his level. By the way, I do not think this is a gaff deck.

Wow! FISM judges picked a genuine winner this time. What an incredibly original and well-executed performance.
Thanks for sharing the video!
What a beautiful piece of magic. Pure astonishment.
This blue my mind.
It's enough to make you a little green around the gills.
Orange you guys glad you watched this?

Well color me impressed
SuperUnunquadium You're to yellow to say that in person
in a FISM act you practice long time to master a thing you like.
This was very beautiful to watch so here I bow for you.
Thank you for such a great routine.
still one of the most elegant and imaginative routines in years
anyone who doesnt appreciate this prolly isnt a working magician. The originality, and thought put into this is staggering. A+
The finish was just spectacular. Finish with fireworks. I like it!
This is beautiful. Every second.
This is truly real magic.
Halfway thought it was so much better to enjoy it rather than trying to figure it out. It was really good.
great illusion, and away from the typical presentations, Standing ovation to your creativity, and manipulation.
Absolutely Stunning. That is thinking outside the proverbial box !! BRAVO !!!
I think this is the BEST card trick i have ever seen.
It is so easy to do !!
you just need to put the card near the light and it changes color
Thank you thats very easy to learn
chocolatechocochoco You know that isn't what's happening, right?
chocolatechocochoco I knew there was a trick !
Mike Campbell uuh, yes it is. Do you even magic, bro?
Yo Mike, the question is do YOU know what is happening?

beautiful, absolutely breathtaking!
I can SEE some of those switches and flips because I know them, but everything is so well put together and the complexity of the routine is just mindblowing. The finale was astounding, I did not expect that. He totally deserves this win!
I was saying the exact same to myself! It is such an amazing trick
me too
the fact he held 4 cards as 3 can be noticed
he also doesn't spread and display the whole deck.
The force is really great with this one.
blew my mind
i take it back he does display the whole deck
Magic's always been more than just the actual trick, but presentation. I think this is one of the most gorgeous performances I've ever seen.
Very nice Andost. Congras on your winning. You have worked so hard for it. I really admire you for it!
WOW the colour changes were amazing
u have no idea how this works. pure sleight of hand and skill that's all there is to it

the cards have multiple layers, you can see at 2:55 when he moves the green lightbulb (misdirection), he flips the layer on the card with the thumb. but very good sleigh of hand

Amazin!!!! beautifull execution, very clear, i loved the trick!
thank you for your highly intelligent input.
I think performances with great music are alot better than performances where the magician is trying to act like a comedian. It just gives a more mysterious vibe to it.
What a fantastic performance. Loved it man!!
However I got the way how he did the trick but still he is amazing!!!
I think there were 2 or 3 cards that were actually black backed, and the rest is amazing slight of hand.
Have to say that I wasn't impressed in the beginning with the two lights, but once the yellow and all those were added, you won me over. Went from what I thought was a very basic routine to something beautiful, nice work. And congrats!
Masterpiece of ALL TIME.

Very nice how he is covering the steal when he turn up the lights.
3:40 I see the orange card within the deck with the black card on top, he then flips the top part of the deck to make orange on top.

Very nice show FISM.
Muito ótimo.
The cards changed color when out of his had that one time. The cads look grey when no light is on. WTF is going on?
If possible, I don't know if it is, I'd really like to see this performed from just one recording. I understand the cuts to show the different times you've recorded it and to show better angles of the effects (or perhaps to even hide other ones), but I just found the different cuts to be a little distracting.
Very Nice.
Beautiful cover of "Somewhere over the rainbow", who is this guy/group?
Donde lo puedo comprar?
Awesome
nice trick. whenever i hear music from a movie i have seen i always have a hard time remembering what movie it was from. when i heard the opening music i spent a solid 15 minutes trying to figure out where i have heard it. i finally got it...AMERICAN BEAUTY!
this guy can do magic.
very creative
@top2percent how do you know he is a witch?
It was very enjoyable overall, but at such a close range, it was actually fairly easy to catch some of the sleight of hand, even on the first view in regular motion. 3:57 jumped out at me particularly as well as a couple other ones mentioned below. Still, I love the art form and the technique and ingenuity in creating such a trick, it would simply be better viewint it as an audience member from a further away.
He can do a invisble pass with one hand. That alone impressed me.
I think that the light reflects off of those cards, which gives it the color. I could be wrong, but who cares.
Ok! Sounds good. Happy Thanksgiving!
That was amazing
Simplemente Genio total!!!
VERY VERY NICE
This trick is very well thought out and great sleight of hand. I've been practicing the move he does for 6 months and I am not even close to his level. By the way, I do not think this is a gaff deck.
