I've been a hobbyist magician for, oh, 25 years or so, and watched a ton of RUclips magic over the years. This is the finest performance I have ever seen.
That is not a spoiler. Slight of hand is different from "magic" in that they do not pretend to have special powers... they simply have the special power of skill. We all know HOW he did it, but the effectiveness of HOW HE DID IT is fantastic and you and I cannot replicate that. Good presentation of it here too.
Excellent performance, was very well made with the exaggerated movements that would allow him to do the sleight of hand well. Could only spot one error at 1:53 - 1:54 You can see him put the ball in the cup for a tenth of a second - This could be due to the camera being slightly on the right side of the audience instead of being dead centre.
The trick is pretty simple, but the show, the way he present it, the timing, his character... everything is absolutly perfect, thus we forget the trick, and it's became really magic :)
Just amazing, even though you can see when things happen, and they're such basic techniques, his skill in execution is beautiful. I can't imagine anyone matching this skill anytime soon.
Same, once I started watching BOTH hands, rather than the one he wants me to watch, it's easy to spot... provided that I can rewind and watch it again more carefully. It's still an impressive performance.
Someone is hiding under the table, passing him stuff and throwing the balls... still one of the most impressing and creative magicians i've seen, well done.
Wait, so you mean this is all just a trick? He's not really supernatural in any way? You have rocked the foundations of my world, and I thank you for the profound clarity, kind sir.
Spotted the first slip up. pause at 1:06. you can see that the third ball that appears, doesn't actually appear from inside the cup (when he lifts the cup) but from behind the cup. he drops it there at the same time as grabbing the cup to lift it.
[Spoilers!] Watch his hands closely. On occasion, they slip underneath the table, grabbing a new tomato (I think) or the jar at certain points. Also note when he rests his head on one of his hands. His other hand is behind his elbow, again grabbing another tomato. The trick to slight of hand is to always look at, well, the person's hands. And godly reflexes. Godly.
it's not CGI. you can see one arm is down/behind the table when something is procured. and when something disappeared it's because it is getting dropped behind the table/onto his lap. he's very quick and very well-coordinated. tossing things down and throwing things up.
At 1:47, my computer slowed down so that the video actually played in slow motion. I STILL couldn't see the ball disappear. This guy is better than most pro magicians in my opinion.
1:05 takes an other ball from under the table (dumps the pervious ball) 1:06 "dumps" the third ball which he just hid in his right hand (previous step) 1:09 takes the 5th ball, and pretends that he takes a ball from the table but instead he shows the hidden ball 1:29 drops on of the balls in his lap 1:33 drops another ball 1:40 another ball lands in his lap (the balls are on the very edge of the table)
His presentation is someone who is severely lacking sleep to the point of insomnia. We can assume he hasn't been sleeping because these tricky cups and balls have been keeping him up. It's like an old timey cartoon in real life!
4:02 while throwing the ball, he throws himselft another ball with his left hand to his right or he throws a ball from under the table with ball hand and holds the original ball in his right. 4:06 dunno.. 4:26 switches the cups (there's a cup filled with water) and drops the ball
Bob bobber He probably is "from" reddit, yeah. Everyone who comments like that are "secretly" going to reddit all day long. They just think it's funny to act like they dont.
Josh willis 99% of all people going to 4chan also go to reddit. This is common knowledge. Also both sites pretend to be better than the other one. Although 4chan is even worse at that part
1:44 takes another ball from the table holds it to his face (puts it in his mouth) while raising the other ball on the taqble and dropping in his lap 1:50 dropping it very fast in his lap? maybe.. 1:53 another ball from the table (left hand) - then dumps it out like it was in the cup 1:56 another ball from the table (right hand) takes the cup, then while moving his hand drops the cup and reveals the ball 2:01 throws the cup in his right from under the table then drops it while "strikin'" on it.
Part of me is saying, "I must learn how this works!" but another part of me is giving my first part some herbal tea and telling it to shut up and enjoy the mystery.
he didn't really mess up, it's the angle of vieuw that allows you to see the trick, a person sitting even just a tad bit more to the right would never have been able to see it... i'm just trying to get the trick behind it ^^
Unbelievable sleight of hand
Such people are gifted by birth.
yes very correct what trick with his two hands, very very well exibited his talent
+Hemanth Kallakuri Birth has nothing to do with that. It is work!
Not to mention dexterity and hand-eye-coordination
This guy's amazing! His routine looks like a Pixar short film! And the choice to grow a beard adds so much in terms of character development.
I've been a hobbyist magician for, oh, 25 years or so, and watched a ton of RUclips magic over the years.
This is the finest performance I have ever seen.
One of the best videos I've seen for a long time. Very well done.
Amazing performance artist. Each of those three words were an understatement.
Very Charlie Chaplin-esque
I saw this live yesterday at Magic Live in Las Vegas by Yann, and it is the most astonishing pieces of magic and juggling I have ever seen.
The magic of simplicity and execution. Introducing French magician Yann Frisch, winner of this year's Beijing International Magic Convention.
This is truly a whole other level of physical comedy.
Very fast very accurate. He's beating our visual FPS with some of those moves. Amazing illusions and some very unique moves there.
Bravo.
No one cares if you're from Reddit. Just watch the video.
*tips fedora
Hello fello reditor, amirite? xd
Yes.
He's not from reddit.
That explains a lot.
But dude he is not from reddit, he is just a troll.... dont feed the trolls man.

Can't wait to see this movie! The trailer looks awesome!
Magic like I've not seen before. Brilliant! Virtuoso performance!!! Bravo! Kudos!
Greatest performance ever! So well done!
cant stop watching this... incredible
Mastery....
That is crazy.
The trick is pretty simple, but the show, the way he present it, the timing, his character... everything is absolutly perfect, thus we forget the trick, and it's became really magic :)
Even with the unfairness of rewinding the video to look for a flaw it is still amazing.
Just amazing, even though you can see when things happen, and they're such basic techniques, his skill in execution is beautiful. I can't imagine anyone matching this skill anytime soon.
Wow, very nice nice. Best SOH I've seen in a long while ...
unbelievable sleight of hand. All of the movements play into the misdirection he frequently used in the act. well done
Absolutely loving it!
This is the best video editing ever. 19 people agree.
made my day. AMAZING performance
A man who has many OPINIONS brought me here.
Absolutely beautiful act.
I love how distinct Asian amazement is.
The fact that this guy doesn't need a fancy suit to do this routine is amazing (It also matches with the style of the performance).
Great routine. Very entertaining combination of slight of hand, juggling, and comedy/clowning.
Increíble trabajo y magnífico.
Brillante!
Amazing!
Wait, so you mean this is all just a trick? He's not really supernatural in any way? You have rocked the foundations of my world, and I thank you for the profound clarity, kind sir.

yeah we all know that he's just dropping stuff in his lap and picking it back up, but it's how fast and masterfully he does it that's amazing
Awesome, but ouch! when he hits his head on the table... Very funny and entertaining!
He dont hit his head on the tabel he hit the tabel with his foot or knee
No hay dudas de que él es el campeon ! Y además ésa rutina tiene pases distintos a la original !! Habría que compararlas y ver cuál es mejor
playing insane person came to him quite naturaly after practicing this act for 1000000th time
Incredibly entertaining, a great laugh - WELL DONE.
I don't care how he did it - its fantastic :D
Talent! lots of practice, respect!
[Spoilers!]
Watch his hands closely.
Godly.
He acted as if he was in an old silent film. very good skills
it's not CGI. you can see one arm is down/behind the table when something is procured. and when something disappeared it's because it is getting dropped behind the table/onto his lap. he's very quick and very well-coordinated. tossing things down and throwing things up.
I would love to see a slow motion camera film this just to put into perspective how extremely fast he is. I also think it would look pretty cool.
RESPECT FROM POLAND !!
At 1:47, my computer slowed down so that the video actually played in slow motion. I STILL couldn't see the ball disappear.
This guy is better than most pro magicians in my opinion.
Impressive... Very impressive the Force is strong with this one.
A few slip ups, and I can see how he did most of the sleights, but then some I can only infer because he's so damn fast. Good job.
i can follow his hands. but even though you can see where he's getting those stuff, it still appears magical.
Your actually crazy if you cannot appreciate the skill he just presented
wow! upgraded version than what i have previously watched ^^ genius!
This is freakin' ART.
1:05 takes an other ball from under the table (dumps the pervious ball)
1:06 "dumps" the third ball which he just hid in his right hand (previous step)
1:09 takes the 5th ball, and pretends that he takes a ball from the table but instead he shows the hidden ball

His presentation is someone who is severely lacking sleep to the point of insomnia. We can assume he hasn't been sleeping because these tricky cups and balls have been keeping him up. It's like an old timey cartoon in real life!
you can see how he does it sometimes but he does it fast and very clean
4:02 while throwing the ball, he throws himselft another ball with his left hand to his right
or he throws a ball from under the table with ball hand and holds the original ball in his right.
4:06 dunno..
4:26 switches the cups (there's a cup filled with water) and drops the ball
This man is a genius!
Le Reddit (the funny meme website) armi are hear!!! xd
He's not from reddit. He's a troll being oh so funny.
Bob bobber He probably is "from" reddit, yeah. Everyone who comments like that are "secretly" going to reddit all day long. They just think it's funny to act like they dont.
Is that part of 4chan?
LarzIBoY 4chan
Josh willis 99% of all people going to 4chan also go to reddit. This is common knowledge. Also both sites pretend to be better than the other one. Although 4chan is even worse at that part
This is truly Amazing.
co nie zmienia faktu, ze jest dobry w tym co robi.
His life is to entertain others. He is what we call an entertainer. What do you do?
1:44 takes another ball from the table holds it to his face (puts it in his mouth) while raising the other ball on the taqble and dropping in his lap
1:50 dropping it very fast in his lap? maybe..
1:53 another ball from the table (left hand) - then dumps it out like it was in the cup
1:56 another ball from the table (right hand) takes the cup, then while moving his hand drops the cup and reveals the ball
2:01 throws the cup in his right from under the table then drops it while "strikin'" on it.
To the naysayers: This man brings laughter and uplifting of spirits to many many people. Does this count for nothing in your world?
Eccezionale ! Fantastico ! WOW !
I think this video sums Dan up pretty well actually...
ESSE CARA É MITO!
Love it!
merci!
Other than Jason Latimer's take on cups and balls, this is my favourite routine!!
Simply beautiful routine.
This guy is very good!
This was all the more funny because I was listening to Daft Punk "one more time" at the same time as this video...
You can notice some tiny mistakes, but it's still outstanding!
Him and Turkish ice cream guy should team up
Great act!
That was amazing.
such cool and simple tricks
That was magical.
This is a great reenactment of one of Charles Manson's parole hearings.
He has risen!!
You can so very clearly see him pick up a second cup at 0:08.
Fantastic!
FENOMENAL!!!
Part of me is saying, "I must learn how this works!" but another part of me is giving my first part some herbal tea and telling it to shut up and enjoy the mystery.
THIS IS AMAZING! WOW
I only found one flaw in this amazing performance on the first viewing, at 1:53
You're a wizard harry...
amazing work
there is a send feedback button. use it.
You are welcome, Captain. Thanks for noticing. ;D
Wow that was amazing
hahahaha this is great!
I love the sad and kind of insane/crazy character he has. very emotional...
At two minutes in I had learned to accept that the universe has another set of laws reserved for him and his balls.
I can understand hiding a juggling ball somewhere, but how do you hide water and then slip it into a cup?
This performance is so perfect xD
Crazy... Practicing this routine may drive you crazy.
he didn't really mess up, it's the angle of vieuw that allows you to see the trick, a person sitting even just a tad bit more to the right would never have been able to see it... i'm just trying to get the trick behind it ^^
