Magnificent performance and magic Markobi! Wow!! Every single magicien on this planet, except maybe for the Professor, is inspired by previous masters and, after Dani Daortiz, you are the only one I know who masters and uses with suitability the legendary Lennart Green’s Chaos. All this with your own personality and style. This is the very magic I was expecting since a long time (since Daortiz actually). Cannot wait to see more works of yours and to see you on stage as almost everyday watching your FISM performance with my height years old son make our days more magical. And this is what we all expect from an artist. From Paris, bravo l’artiste!
This guy is hilarious, "You're a Queen." "Touch the Queen... which normally you dont say." I loved how he didnt just fumble the cards... he did the ENTIRE TIME as part of the act. Threw me for a loop, but i loved it.
The reaction of the magicians in the crowd key you in on when the final move is done. It's the most beautiful pass I've ever (not) seen and absolutely earned him the title.
The crowd we assume being at FISM did not react to his obviously over the top palm being fake but the fact he did move with his other hand that was out in the open yet still invisible. Not versed enough in Green to know the transposes but I would bet you will find it in his works since this is a clear tribute.
You can go frame by frame when the spectator puts the card in his hand. It looks _very_ much like the signed queen of clubs. Or are you talking about something else?
Please, please, PLEASE get on Penn and Teller Fool Us! You deserve the exposure it could bring you. This performance, YOU, you made my heart smile. Thank you
That's a great act! Part of his act reminds me of Lennert Green. His jokes are really funny, particulary taking out food for his participants. And, the ending was fantastic.
I've watched this routine a few times and many many others (especially ones that reveal how the trick is done). This routine is so easy to explain. I can't believe how many people are easily fooled. It's clear he does this by being an actual wizard.
Jesus Christ died for our sins, rose from the dead, and gives salvation to everyone who has faith in him. True faith in Jesus will have you bear good fruit and *drastically* change for the better! Those led by the Holy Spirit do not abide in wickedness. God is three in one; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit! Bless him! As I am led by the Holy Spirit, nothing I state is a lie, but the truth of God. Anyone who tells you differently is misinformed or a liar. They do not know God, nor led by him. Anyone who *claims* to be a Christian and is against what I am doing, and where I am doing it; the Holy Spirit does not dwell within them, they lack understanding. They know not God, read his word, and their religion is in vain. Do not hear them, they will mislead you, the lost cannot guide the lost.
When you trust in God and cast your cares (worries, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts) upon him, they will be NO MORE! Know that there is power in the name Jesus Christ! His name casts out demons and heals! The world is wicked, evil, and of the devil. I too, was a wicked sinner of the world before I opened my heart to God. I am living proof of God's work and fruitfulness! He is an active God who hears the prayers of his! God's children are set apart (holy) and righteous. The devil is a liar that comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy; that includes your relationship with God.
Merci @Markobi de nous faire rêver et rire. Vous avez un mélange de nonchalance, maladresse feinte, absence d'émotions devant la réussite de vos tours et évidemment un talent incroyable !
@@QuickMadeUpName he got 1 card under his palm and changes it when the woman put the card on his hand (i guess lol - it's so quick) sry for my bad english
@@LuizCarlosLirio Yeah at @9:07 something is definitely going on with the card she puts in his hand, he does some kind of manouver and it appears for a moment there are two cards in his hand. But you can see his open palm beforehand--what do you mean when you say he has something under his palm? There's nothing apparently there. I start thinking gimmicked cards but that seems outside the spirit of the illusion. I even start thinking like... some kind of really amazing fake skin on his hand but again... that feels disappointing if it's the trick and usually when I find out how a really good trick is done I'm not disappointed.
@@krisrhodes5180 I don't know how it's done, but if you go frame-by-frame at 9:10, you can see the underside of the card very quickly and it has a black Q and the queen's head, while she's still holding on to it. She put the right card in his hand.
@@poika22 I think the important part of the last trick happens early on when he scribbles all over the signature, so that the signature gets lost making the card very hard to tell apart from another queen with scribbles on. when the crowd laughed at the blatant palm, screamed in excitement that it wasnt there, and roared at the final reveal i screamed right along with them
It was obvious because of the tone that he was messing with the audience. It was funny because of the tongue in cheek of "you know I want to look like a dummy but I'm messing with you". Not because it was really looking like a bad palm
The fake palming at the end and the gotcha and the final reveal... The crowd went wild. I rewatched this part twice and I'm going to rewatch it again Bravo à toi
@@stefanosantini196 at the very end of the routine, he's cupping his hand near his face after doing something sort of fishy with the cards. This was intentional, and leads anybody expecting such things to believe that he's hiding a card in that hand. Then he waits a minute and points with his hand open essentially telling anybody who thought he was palming a card that they are wrong. That was a gift for The magicians in the audience which for that performance was everyone.
I watched that last bit multiple times and every-time it didn’t even look like he took a card, I was wondering why the crowd went wild when it was seemingly so obvious?
Actually it was not a fake. If you watch the pick up at 0.25 speed until he opens his hand you may see something very interesting with his mouth. What I find extreme was the "technical part"😂
Forget the magic... no, no, hear me out... Forget the magic, on it's own the presentation, the chatter, the script (and the not script), and the bumbling baffoonery, were all simply 1st class entertainment in their own right! And then there IS the magic, and wow, just wow... a chefs kiss just simply doesn't do it justice, so here's a chefs kiss with both hands :)
For half a second he wanted to interrupt her (..."but..") because he saw she was aiming for the revealed or quite far card. When she took one of the washed cards he stops and just says "yes yes"...
@@LeOssiTrollterrible not all of them, but the signed card was a messy scribble. So while we are assuming he had a normal deck, it's likely that all of the face down cards that were close enough for her to reach were that same card with a big scribble on it. His base deck was very likely heavily stacked with queens that he used his messy shuffling to hide. you strategically see a couple of non queens that he leaves visible.
One of the best magical performances of any type I have ever seen. Next level Lennart Green!! Literally jaw dropping, like literarily my jaw dropped many times + absolutely hilarious. Thank you for your amazing artistry and inspiration.
So hilariously entertaining. I'm not a magician but was thinking that after he put the deck behind him on his left side at 5:41 and then brought it back, he just needed to control the first three queens as every other card not turned over was a queen of clubs with an indistinguishable scribble on it. Note, in the first desk you saw the faces. In the second deck, only a few random spilled cards had their faces shown before the three queens and the final reveal. I could be wrong but either way, takes nothing away from such an incredible performance to make it look like a total mess when all along it was clearly controlled.
I had a friend at the event that said the deck was given to him at the start of the trick, it was not one that he brought. that doesnt mean he didnt switch it obvioulsy but i dont know, im inclined to think it was legit. ending seems to perfect tho.
I AM a (albeit fairly beginner) magician and I’ve watched this routine so many times and it never occurred to me that he was taking a different deck out. But it’s obvious now that you’re correct. Flew by me because every time he did that trick, as a magician I was instantly thinking ‘oh he’s doing the one where he takes the whole deck whilst pretending to just palm off a card’ (as it’s a common phase of a card to pocket trick that all magicians know’
Oh my god I didn't even realize that. He had the kit Kat in his pocket at the start to make ppl think it was a deck but wasn't, so nobody is thinking he has an actual 2nd deck in his back pocket instead of the front one. And she doesn't even actually sign it at the start he grabs the marker and scribbles but you think it's signed.
Incroyable Markobi ! Je t'avais vu il y a quelques années au flor en scène c'était fou ! Vraiment cool de te voir reussir et atteindre des sommets ! Respect

And he even offers the switch. Which Penn at a different show took, but the outcome was still the same. I for one plainly don't understand what's going on. Awesome 😂
Not when all the face down cards on the table are the queen with his scribble on it. Any card she touched would be the card. Which is why it worked on Penn and Teller fool us when Penn switched his choice.
@@lennon1252 The only thing I noticed in the Fool Us routine (thanks to the magic of video) was that the card originally signed was not the one that showed up later.
There's more than one "signed" queen. But to be able to keep track of them and manipulate the deck like that is absolutely incredible. Understanding a tiny bit more about how the trick is done doesn't spoil it at all. If anything, I find that the more I learn about how the tricks are done, the more that I am impressed by how skilled the best magicians in the world are. And to be able to do all this with the word play and stage persona to top it off is incredible. They can't just be quiet and focus on the trick. They have to talk to the audience the whole time.
Mon père fut premier prix mondial de magie en 1964... Jamais je n'ai vu de manipulateur aussi talentueux que Markobi .Et je regrette infiniment que mon père ne puisse, comme moi, admirer et être subjugué par ses prouesses.
The final trick is totally amazing, and returning the card to the table so many times too, but I honestly think I missed half of the magic as there was so much mess happening. Seems like a performance designed for magicians to watch.

Towards the end when he asked the person to pick one card and he kept his hand on his chin I thought the cards must be in his palm but when he removed the hand and said “Do you wanna change?” it gave me goosebumps.

@@waynecarter4799 I think he is either insane or he has multiple queens of clubs with his marks on it and manages to never show two at the same time. Either way, his performance was magical
@@floyo Yes there are multiple queens of clubs with his marks that's for sure. That's why he forces the queens of clubs (that's quite visible) and he "signed" the card himself at the beginning. I suspect all the cards in the right pile he makes after the false palming are all queens of clubs and that he leaves a few cards face up are for misdirection. He probably knew the lady will pick a card from this pile as the other pile is quite away from her. Nevertheless I find his ability to control the cards really incredible (I'm not a magician so probably I'm easily fooled). His chaos and humour style quite reminds of Lennart Green.
@@vick7848 actually, the offer to change is not what made the audience go crazy, it's the fact that when he put his hand to his chin, the "cheap" trick for beginner magicians is to hide a card in their hand, so that's why people laughed when he did that, but a few seconds later when he offers to change and, more importantly, reveals that there is nothing in his hand, that's when the audience realizes he is just next level ! :)

I haven't seen any of your work before but this was a spectacular performance. Congratulations you deserved the win here.
This routine will never get old and will be watched in 100 years from people with the same stunned faces. Well done!
Absolutely incredible. The self deprecating and sloppiness only adds to the genius. Outstanding.
I remember seeing Lennart Green doing this type routine 30 years ago and I'm still blown away. It's unlike anything else. The brilliance in the chaos is breathtaking!
Yes ! Me too !!!!!! See Lennart Greeen Master files ! Amazing !
Guess who is "his uncle" but "not realy his uncle" that told him how "tonfind lady" 🎉🎉🎉 😂🤣😂 His act his full of references to other masters, the judges must have got the hints clear and loud 🥂
I saw this live and it was amazing! Congrats sir!!! Enjoy the next 3 years of being world champion!! Xoxo
oh, it isn't yearly?
Dude! It's Eric!
For me as a non-magician the show, the act is key. And this was one of the most riveting performances I’ve seen in a long time. Chapeau!
I know nothing about how magic is done other than incredible hand control, manipulation, practice, etc but I can honestly say watching this has just left me in awe. So unreal.
ive studied magic. ive read magic. ive watched alot on close up magic. this act is pure..REAL MAGIC. brilliant. thank you.
Exceptional, you control the cards, the story and the crowd!
No story except being messy. Funny but lacking magic
How is that even possible to be that much funny and that much talented, congrats Marc 🔥
This act was one of the real highlights of this year's FISM for me. Thanks for posting it.
for you ? the guy won the freaking championship. So, probably for everyboyd
@@maximem.ste-marie3578 hahahaha
This guy is hilarious, "You're a Queen." "Touch the Queen... which normally you dont say." I loved how he didnt just fumble the cards... he did the ENTIRE TIME as part of the act. Threw me for a loop, but i loved it.
The reaction of the magicians in the crowd key you in on when the final move is done. It's the most beautiful pass I've ever (not) seen and absolutely earned him the title.
Pleeeeaase tell me what second you’re talking about here - I couldn’t notice any of the crowd giving anything away at all…
The crowd we assume being at FISM did not react to his obviously over the top palm being fake but the fact he did move with his other hand that was out in the open yet still invisible. Not versed enough in Green to know the transposes but I would bet you will find it in his works since this is a clear tribute.
I've rewatched it seven times. What pass?
@@koorssgamer Me too. I don't see anything either.
Thank you
As a FISM winner, AGT is usually where we see people next.
Penn and Teller have probably watched this 50 times already and have their office calling Markobi all day until he picks up the phone !
Done, and FOOLER !
I love performances like this were the act is to appear sloppy and not in control of the table. Very well done, and entertaining.
Absolutely astonishing! So funny. The accent adds so much hilarity! Incredible performance! More videos please!
He is clearly a fan of Lennart Green, awesome performance.
Took the words right out of my mouth, loved it
He's not a fan he IS lennart green
Jesus Christ died for our sins, rose from the dead, and gives salvation to everyone who has faith in him. True faith in Jesus will have you bear good fruit and *drastically* change for the better! Those led by the Holy Spirit do not abide in wickedness.

As I am led by the Holy Spirit, nothing I state is a lie, but the truth of God. Anyone who tells you differently is misinformed or a liar. They do not know God, nor led by him.

They know not God, read his word, and their religion is in vain. Do not hear them, they will mislead you, the lost cannot guide the lost.

Absolutely. Thought this after 5 seconds of this video
Merci @Markobi de nous faire rêver et rire.
Vous avez un mélange de nonchalance, maladresse feinte, absence d'émotions devant la réussite de vos tours et évidemment un talent incroyable !
The last trick had me dying haha. Fake-palming is so next level hahahaha
Amazing performance!!!!!! 😁👍
How'd he do the last part?
Maybe all the cards with the back side up in the end is queens with scribble on?
sleight of hand magic is my favorite thing in the whole world, and after seeing so much of it, i feel it has impact when i say how blown away i was and how much i love the presentation. brilliance. i was yelling and clapping while watching by myself lol.
The controlled chaos and ability to look shit while doing loads of card controlling is amazing, can't fault it even watching in slow motion

Funniest routine ever! Saw it on Penn and Teller and laughed out loud. Same here!! Fabulous!
Love how he seemed to use less and less "sleight" moves as the routine went on. Masterful.
when the crowd laughed at the blatant palm, screamed in excitement that it wasnt there, and roared at the final reveal i screamed right along with them
It was obvious because of the tone that he was messing with the audience. It was funny because of the tongue in cheek of "you know I want to look like a dummy but I'm messing with you". Not because it was really looking like a bad palm
The fake palming at the end and the gotcha and the final reveal... The crowd went wild.
I rewatched this part twice and I'm going to rewatch it again
Bravo à toi
The fake palm was so good. So good.
Whats a fake palm?
One of the best routines I have ever seen. So funny but done with such precision at the same time. WOW!
I love this Columbo-esque style of magic. Brilliant routine and well-deserved title.

Absolutely incredible! So glad you posted this :)
That ending reveal was insane!!!!! You can hear all the magicians absolutely blown away like a sports game!!
Ending was actually very straightforward: he washes a small bank just within her reach and washes the rest of the cards out of her reach.
For half a second he wanted to interrupt her (..."but..") because he saw she was aiming for the revealed or quite far card. When she took one of the washed cards he stops and just says "yes yes"...
@@dominikschommer7209 what does washing mean in this context? They cant all be signed queens right ?
@@LeOssiTrollterrible not all of them, but the signed card was a messy scribble. So while we are assuming he had a normal deck, it's likely that all of the face down cards that were close enough for her to reach were that same card with a big scribble on it. His base deck was very likely heavily stacked with queens that he used his messy shuffling to hide. you strategically see a couple of non queens that he leaves visible.
@@Derrythe01 that makes sense but he never drew a queen of the same color twice so even if its all queens he still has to know which are which
I don’t think I’ve ever been more impressed by a close up card trick

The laser deal is also great
Amazing and unbelievable. Great performance and a worthy winner.
This was genius! I love the whole bit about a magician who can't shuffle a deck of cards. That was great!
I love this guy's clumsy, chaotic style. Super funny and good magic.
Bravo Marc !! Sérieusement tu déchires. Tes tours sont vraiment au top et ton numéro est digne d'un one man show. J'ai adoré
Incroyable Markobi ! Je t'avais vu il y a quelques années au flor en scène c'était fou ! Vraiment cool de te voir reussir et atteindre des sommets ! Respect
Son anglais avec la petite touche française est absolument charmant.
Amateur, clumsy and in full control of the deck, the crowd and 2+ million viewers' brains, throughout his whole routine. Astonishing!
Loved the mislead at the end there. You could hear how many people in the crowd were suckered in by the same move xD
Watched it three times just bask in the greatness! FANTASTIC! So much fun! Gotta SHARE! Congratulations!
What a Great reward for a Great person !!! So happy for you !
It's a Long Time that I have meet you in thé Blackpool Magic Convention (a Time where we were allowed to drink a beer in a pub without wearing a Mask 🤗) but what a Great evening I spent there with Bebel and a U.F.O. named Markobi. A strange and very Nice Guy who was doing cards tricks all over the night, everywhere, everytime. Congratulations. See you maybe on the next Blackpool !
I had to rewatch and actually appreciate it more than seeing it first time. His “chaotic” timing was actually sublime for final reveal!
That last queen reveal is just sublime.
Exactly. You look at the cards and he has messed up the smaller piles into one large pile and she picks one out.
The best magic trick I have ever seen in my life.
Mon père fut premier prix mondial de magie en 1964... Jamais je n'ai vu de manipulateur aussi talentueux que Markobi .Et je regrette infiniment que mon père ne puisse, comme moi, admirer et être subjugué par ses prouesses.
This was absolutely phantastic. Best I have ever seen. And so funny!!! Brilliant! Thank you for sharing!!!
The final trick is totally amazing, and returning the card to the table so many times too, but I honestly think I missed half of the magic as there was so much mess happening. Seems like a performance designed for magicians to watch.
His banter and facial expressions are as good as the card manipulation itself. Chaos and beauty at the same time. Genius.
Beautiful done, Lennart Green would be proud of you! Never thought I would see such a performance again, keep it up!
Don’t know how it was done, don’t ever want to know, don’t care, just watch on loop for hours. So good, from the magician’s inside jokes to the fake boredom to the RUclips trick comment- I mean come on, the whole thing was genius. Magnifique Markobi, magnifique.
Towards the end when he asked the person to pick one card and he kept his hand on his chin I thought the cards must be in his palm but when he removed the hand and said “Do you wanna change?” it gave me goosebumps.
This guy is a genius! I was locked in and he moves so fast and fluid while looking like he has 0 idea what he’s doing. Unreal!

You can't imagine how many times I've rewatched 9:00 to the end. I just love it, especially your Lennart Green like style. You really earned your price. This was one of the best, maybe even the best magic performance I've ever seen.
Same, you can see him palm a card (probably as a distraction) but i dont see the switch occur
@@waynecarter4799 i think he is just the Master of psychological force
I feel tricked twice in the same trick.. Great performance. I thought he is palming and this is what's important and suddenly it doesn't matter :D
"IZZ A QUEEN" Incredible magic sir, bravo!
At the end, asking if she wanted to change what card the picked, has to be one of the hardest lines in magic history. That was brilliant.
Wanted to say the same. That cheer/applause/gasp from the crowd really said it too. Insane to offer that though I wish she did change. So wild
