Let’s goooooo 🔥🤘
Guess Markobi lost then.
That was insane and so damn stupid but in a good way and im in love with that act🤣
Yess!
Would be awesome!
My favorite part is the audience reaction to the finish. They are all his peers, fellow magicians, so when he does the hammy fake palm at the end, the laughs spread... Then he reveals the empty palm to a roar as he asks if ahe wants to change cards - A coup de gras that absolutely destroys the room as he reveals the signed queen.
Their reaction in the moment tells you everything you need to know. This is a masterpiece, and his peers all know it instantly.
It is always incredible when someone can make something look so messy and yet be amazing at the same time! Great skills! 👍
It's like Jazz music or a mullet, or a cute french bulldog, or someone with an ugly basketball shot that always goes in. lol
After watching hundreds of these videos and learning a few tricks, I can sometimes tell where a card or coin is. I never see it go there, but you know it's there. There wasn't a single point during this whole performance where I knew where a card was or what was going to happen next.
At 10:12 Chris realizes that the reveal is not what he was expecting. Such a great moment of experiencing pure joy in a brilliant performance.
I'm glad you mentioned Lennart Green, that was my first impression when the cards started spilling everywhere, makes everything look sloppy but then as it progresses it feels so much more magical, is a really interesting style
I´d say Lennart and Dani Daortiz
Reminded me of Lennart Green, too. Brilliant!
@@fmichlick My first thought
Same
This guys slop style isn't as naturally convincing as Lennarts but great magic non the less
That had to be the best magic trick I have seen in my life. The way he frames it as a bumbling, incompetent, sloppy mess, his moves are so good. Not to mention the comedy was amazing. What a sound and complete act. Everything was so tight and flawless.
Check out the master Lennart Green
I already watched this performance; he is amazing. Has this attitude of “oh, I’m not sure how to shuffle, this is all sort of an accident.” And he’s wonderful. I’ve never laughed harder at a RUclips magician.
Marcobi is amazing. Forget the award here. He fooled Penn & Teller, and that means so much more to me. Just incredible!!!
Love to see you doing what you love with people who share that same passion 💜
It was such an chaotic act, but at the same time so incredibly skilled. It's unfathomable
Chris, absolutely love his style and banter. So smooth and top notch.
My son who’s 8 is becoming obsessed with puzzles and magic because of you Chris! ❤
Crazy act!! Phenomenal! This really shows the extend of how much you can alter and improve the simple routines and acts of card magic!
Fell in love with this act the first time I watched it last week. I can’t stop watching it, it’s an absolute masterpiece. Can’t wait to see more of your Spain trip!
Love these routines where the magic is not only impressive to the general public, but also impresses the magicians in the room. Talk about a tough crowd who's seen it all.
Wow - it's incredible how Markobi can be so "messy" and yet just simply blow your mind with his skills 🤯
Excellent video Chris - cheers for sharing man 🙏🏻
Lucky enough to call him my friend, jam with him and like him live in Strasbourg ! Such a pleasure to see perform and be around just a really great guy😃 Fully deserved!
This is an insane amount of control in a way that you never ever see, really amazing stuff.
Amazing routine. I've seen a lot of people attempt to do a similar thing, like making masterful control look like chaos, but he's easily the most convincing I've seen.
It's almost like a Will Farrell character on SNL, except he's actually doing insane magic within the performance.
Tommy Cooper energy.
Dude, this was a great video! Thanks for introducing me to his content. I've never seen magic performed in this manner, and I really enjoyed it.
Having watched this probably 50 times now, your reaction to the routine made me so happy. It’s one of those things that when you know to look for something it subverts your expectations and I think it’s brilliant. For the person that got me into slight of hand, and the person making me want to continue, magic is fucking dope. Don’t ever quit.
If they're putting cards everywhere, there'll be a packet that stays in their hands.
I just went and watched his full video before watching this and I have to say by the end I was stunned at how amazing this magic act is. At no point was I able to figure out anything on how he did it and honestly, I would not believe anyone who says they see how he does it unless they were also an outstanding magician too.
What a great act! The one-handed doubles were so nice. Thanks for this one Chris, take care.
That's simply the most amazing act I've ever seen. SO entertaining and so fooling. I love this style.
Pure genius! Loved watching your reaction to this! Thanks Chris!
Always a fan of these videos. We can learn from a pro magicians how other pros can display and still shock their peers and public
@3:47 HOW?? // the whole thing was awesome, felt very Lennart Green-esque
Yo Nelson! I watch your channel!
3:47 is one of the best bits in the whole act. Clean the deck up right in front of the audience, and they applaud for it. Brilliant.
kinda upset he was using 2 cards
@@sadbanana5896 wait, no way he was
@@QuantumFeldspar I think they're right. There is a seemingly impossible trick in the middle. I think the whole act relies on the force of scribbling on a card at the outset.
The finish to his routine was EPIC...blew me away 🤯👏👏👏
I already saw Markobi's video a few days ago, and I immeditely thought he smashed it, what a GREAT performance. I was waiting a lot for some reactions from great magicians like you and now I'm happy to see one, thanks Chris.
I had a smile the whole session. Now that was magic keeping a smile up with awe!
Love this, watched it over the last day or so when he posted it. I used to buy magic from a magician called Roy Walton who ran a small magic shop. He was a big fan of acting a lot less skilled than you are. This is the best example of that I've ever seen. Incredibly funny too. Blew my mind!
Absolutely spectacular. The whole performance was perfect
absolutely incredible. Reminds me of Tommy Cooper and that style of bumbling, but yet somehow controlled act. Top class
I like the way you present your videos with so much of passion and interest and respect for every topic and those performing.. great job keep it up.. love from India..
So amazing! Can't wait to see your version!! ;)
Man this guy is just outstanding. I couldn´t handle my laugh and the emotion I felt at the end of the routine.
Been anticipating this one. Thanks!
This was great. I love it when you show magic without showing the solution. I love it so much
Je m'étais éloigné de la chaîne car il n'y avait plus beaucoup de vidéos de magie, depuis la fism j'apprécie d'autant plus tes vidéos. Je ressens vraiment un renouveau, hâte de voir la suite !
His performance was really great. The whole routine was extremely well done.
Definitely getting Lennard Green vibes from him.
Also it's absolutely genius to create such a routine with that certain delivery of his tailored for an audience full of magicians. This was pure world class, beginning to end.
Honestly I was waiting for him to plant the card in the kit kat.
Great point. They are the same size. Maybe there was a card in there, but he couldn't use it because some of his magic may be dependent on "multiple outs."
@@TheNameOfJesus no, the joke was when he stands up it looks like he has another deck in his trouser pocket, so when he offers her the kit kat it shows that he doesnt have a deck there, its an inside joke to keen eyed magicians
Such a great act! Love it!!
I think he had severals of the same signed card. It was first signed by the spectator but then he added took the pen and rubbed it around on the card so that it would look like the prepped signed cards. And got the feeling he was adding a bunch of queens... and when counting to 5 I think he many possible ways to exit the trick as if you look it seems the third card on each pile was turned so I think he was prepared for another exit strategy if required.
I also wondered if the mentioning of 5 piles was also either a hint or some kind of soft force but to have multiple exits prepped just makes this even more impressive.
I got several WOW moments. And i watched avidly so many magic tricks that it happens rarely! Never happened more than once in a routine.
This was so good! Loving this Magic content!
Wow! I have goosebumps, what a brillant entertainer. Thanks for sharing.
There is one little detail that makes the whole trick in my opinion: he's so messy that he often drops cards and some cards end up facing the wrong way, so he is in fact showing the faces of the cards during the whole trick
So powerfull!
Impressive. Then again so has a lot of the stuff I've been seeing lately on this channel. Some really great stuff.
I was fantastically entertained. What a great performer.
I was just recommended his video and watched it yesterday! Crazy good
Jumping off the week with some magic 🙌🏼
It was really beautiful routine, i did not expect half of it and it made it much better. To me it reminded me of Dani DaOrtiz also uses this style.
Dani is his mentor
Thank you for mentioning Lennart Green, what a great tribute and at the same time he makes it his own. What a great act, thanks for doing your reaction Chris!
that was the best performance ever. i love the chaotic organization of his act!
Thank you Chris, that was really enjoyable.
Chris, thank you for bringing such a great content - you are my youtuber number one
Absolutely loved watching this.
This is why I love close up magic. It requires a certain precision because you don't have a lot or room to work with and can easily get fumbled.
Adding comedy or storytelling is always an added bonus, in my opinion.
Perfect chaos. And love your commentary.
wow that was an act! great..thanks for sharing with us Chris
Amazing video 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 thanks Chris 🙏🏽
I mean, come on! I saw his video, and it was equally awesome to see this reaction.. Just incredible!!
These guys are so talented!
the only close up act I saw all week that got a standing O. he was so good!!!
When somebody comes home from a trip and their voice is totally crushed, you _know_ they've had an amazing time! =)))
Magic is real! I never want to know how it’s done. I’m happy being obliviously entertained. 🤗
I just saw him on Penn and Teller. Absolutely phenomenal.
Man, that's how you breathe life into magic again. Bravo. 👏
The only thing I can think of as a method for the last Queen is that the whole side that is closest to the spectator is loaded with Queens. He squigles over the Queen in the begining to make it easier to mistake it for the rest in the deck. Other than that, I have zero clue. It's pure joy to watch. I love Lenart Green so this is totally in the same style and I can't get enough of it.
I am about to watch your reactions CR- and I cannot wait!!!! I watched Markobi's FISM performance last week and I was completely blown away. How did he produce that signed card like 9 times?? How did he get the spec at the end to pick up the correct card?? He honestly blew me away-- Add in his humor and composure under those conditions == Priceless. This was insanity !!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@A.D.G Ok well that is only explanation that would make sense-- unless Markobi was doing real magic-- since I watched him place the exact signed card down each time--- Even though he scribbled all over the signed card which makes a cold deck dupe very easy-- I assumed couldn't use duplicates in FISM for some reason. Thanks for the explanation !!
@@DavidM-lj5yv exactly haha I'm just as lost
The chaotic messy style of magic is so good. It sets the bar low for a trick when it seems they will suck, so when they do the crazy stuff..my mind blows up 😂
I'm not actually into messy approach to card magic because I was used to Shin Lim's style of card magic.
However, that finish, damn, worth to be a champ, it made smile.
Line at (11:31) that perfectly sums up the guy's shtick, "...he doesn't give a crap about the audience - he just wants to get these tricks over with!" LOL!!!
control under chaos. So fantastic!
That ending blew my mind, which is impressive seeing how everything before that melted my brain lol.
Literally was just binging ur channel, watching old magic content
Lennart Green is one of my favorite magicians of all time. And this guy just jumped to the top of my list because this performance just took Green’s style, elevated it, and made it Markobi’s. I loved this entire routine from start to finish!
There’s method in his madness! Absolutely awesome!
That was amazing!
Holy crap he's good. Thanks for sharing Chris.
Awesome thank you
I watched it earlier for the first time on his RUclips channel the ending was amazing I'm not a magician just a fan of magic all the best from Newcastle England 👍
Absolutely phenomenal.
Really enjoying the magic content
Dude this was amazing!!!
I seen you Chris on someone else's video looking at the booths and I was like its the legend himself
Thanks for this ❤️
Omfg this guy is great. Love his style. What a awesome performance
I wasn't even sure what to look for with that dude!! It so chaotic yet brilliant..I guess
Very 👌! Lennart Green-esque . Soo good!
Beautiful! Made me think of Tommy Cooper.
That ending... Wow!
The very obvious palm cracked me up - this guy is amazing! SO MUCH CHAOS
He really improved this for Penn and Teller. That's my favorite Fool Us routine
Dude kinda reminds me of Lenart Green a bit with the sloppiness and Such. Just absolutely mind blowing. Love this guy. And congrats Chris on the hosting gig in Cal coming up. You really need to come to east coast of the states bro. Us guys here in NJ need some good magic and comedy.
I really wanted to point out his GREEN shirt or he seems a little GREEN to be on such a high platform but you beat me to pointing out who I’m sure a big influence oh his was.
I absolutely LOVED this routine, amazing!!
to be with chaotic and still this good, he needs to be crowned the magician of all magicians
his one hand double lift ist absolutely amazing and fantastic... wow... like the whole show. Great !
