I also struggle with reading. I’ve never been a fan of it lol so that is going to be the biggest challenge lol but watching you will definitely keep me motivated. You got this!!!!
I’m 3 weeks postpartum and I’ve been wanting to do this for like 3 years! I’m honestly considering it once I’m all cleared! It’s such an interesting physical and mental challenge!
Can’t wait to see your journey on this!!! I’ve failed 75 hard so many times and want to try again but I’m in a good, consistent routine right now(down 10 lbs!) so don’t want to change it right now but hopefully towards the end of the year I’ll be trying again! Good luck, girl!!!
Ohhh, I love that you will be uploading everyday for the 75 hard challenge. I've tried a couple of times and failed, it's so hard, but I know you can do it! You might give me the inspiration to do my own 75 hard. I won't try until summer since I live in Northern Michigan and I'm not about to do outside workouts everyday at this time of year. Reading to dogs (or other animals) is actually fairly widely used where I'm from to promote reading in children, both those who struggle with it and those who don't. My local library has children's dog reading groups regularly. So it's not THAT far fetched to think reading out loud to a dog would help with adults as well, especially to help with that initial focus and wandering thoughts. :D
1. Dreams: You can have increased crazy dreams after drinking a lot of alcohol due to REM sleep being suppressed while drinking. Not sure if that's what happened to you but who knows! 2. Collagen: supposedly it does actually help your skin even though you're eating it. I heard this on a Huberman podcast about skin health last year. Is it worth it... No idea lol!! Good luck!! 🎉❤so awesome that you're doing this. It sounds too hard for me to do at this point in my life so I'll be happy to cheer you on!
this is so nice and motivating! ive had around 2 yrs exp of working out but now i wanna follow along and do my own version of "75" hard but ill start with a simple 5 day hard first. and since i have a goal of learning french as a 3rd language, i'd like to listen or do 1 french lesson per day. i do have a 9-5 as well so i wanna start with this first and see how i can challenge myself as i go with it :) thanks morgan!! so excited to see both ur progress and mine 😊

I've been deciding about doing this. The only thing I'd need to add is reading 10 pages of a non fiction book, taking pics, and doing an outdoor workout for 45 minutes. I bet that's the toughest part is getting two workouts in! Perfect for walking your pup!
For your reading challenge, what about audiobooks? I listen to them at 2x speed when walking or working out. They are kinda like podcasts when you're listing to a self help book. And you can get them free from your library. I listened to atomic habits and it was pretty good as an audiobook.
I love simple modern too! I have that same cup. I like to use the straw/handle lid for when I’m on the go, but I may switch to the chug lid.. I’ve never thought about how constantly drinking out of a straw could cause bloating.
I really recommend The Courage To Be Disliked - it's an amazing book, originally a bestseller in Japan, all about psychology and philosophy and applying these principles to real life, but its written in a super engaging way as a conversation between a young man and a philosopher having these conversations - LOVED it and super recommend ❤

i’m doing 75 Medium and i’m on day 13, I think i’ll do 75 hard after. I love incorporating yoga recovery/pilates to break up heavier weight training days!
Was so ready to start my new fitness goals for 2025, and then I got hit with the flu 😩. So when I get better I’ll be extra ready to get going, trying my best to do all my tasks except for going to the gym obviously.
I just found Chobani 20g 0 sugar today!! Highly recommend!! Greek yogurt is my #1 go to for protein. I also love taking plain un sweetened Greek yogurt and adding my fav protein powder and a tiny fit of fair life milk and mixing. You can get soo much protein that way, and then top w some berries or even a few choc chips if you do the caramel latte kind. Soo good and incredibly filling!! And def all the ninja creamis of course.
The reason he made it a gallon of water is because of the two 45 minute workouts. He says that with that much exercise, you’ll want/need the gallon of water. Of course every body is different, but water intake should definitely go up with the two workouts, especially for those that sweat a lot!
collagen is the best! I have been taking it in a gummy form for a while now, and i can tell a difference with my hair and nails especially! btw I love your challenge, Im 5ft and have the same body type as you. I love how relatable you are, you're my comfort! Keep going!!

If you use the free app- my fitness pal, I’ve found several recipes are already input! So it breaks down the macros (protein). Sending you all the kick butt vibes for 75 hard!
If you’re not a reading girly, then I would suggest doing an audiobook. You still have to comprehend, you still have to use your imagination, you’re still working your brain. It’s still reading. Then in addition I would challenge you to read something fun. Try anything. Seriously just to get yourself interested in reading and then you might actually enjoy the nonfiction or the self-help book. Also you might not. Growing up the library was my place. I would show up at the checkout with, literally 12 to 13 books every time. I think there was a limit, I think they said I couldn’t do more than 15. And the librarian was actually annoyed with me because she didn’t believe I was actually reading all these books. But I was on homeschool and I didn’t really have any friends. Of course I read books! so now is an adult. I have to try really hard because usually reading feels like I might be wasting time and I could be doing something productive, but I am doing something productive. I’ve been sleeping so much better since I’ve started reading again. It’s incredible. And I am so flabbergasted to say lol that I have read like five books this winter. I’ve gone years with only reading one. And it took me years to finish that one. So get into Barnes & Noble and just kinda look around, look for something trendy look for something new, maybe like fantasy maybe like romance, maybe romance, something spicy actually really does seem to grab a lot of peoples attention and it just works your brain to wear suddenly you do want to read. And it doesn’t have to be spicy after that I’ve noticed so many people go yeah I started reading something spicy and then suddenly I want to read just anything. you just need a starter book that gets you comfortable with reading. And while you’re trying to get comfortable with reading if this is like a side quest for you not part of 75 Hard, I would suggest just read two pages a day. Because the chances are you’re reading two pages you may want to read that third. That’s actually how adults are supposed to do any hobby. Just practice the guitar for five minutes. Truth is you’ll probably practice for 10 or 20. I hope this helps! * I mentioned Barnes & Noble and look for the trendy books because sometimes it’s easier to start something new that everyone else is doing. Then later on you tend to go off by yourself and find that really cool thrift bookstore with excellent books that you’ve never heard about. But it’s hard at first when reading is hard at first. Fun fact, I’m dyslexic, reading out loud is still kind of difficult for me, and I am voice texting, so I’m so sorry for any typos! But I know how hard it is when you’re not interested in reading and you have to work through that. I’m just so thankful that I was able to work through that because boy book saved my young teenage life.

I’m doing a similar challenge that I found on Pinterest! Except it’s for 100 days and it’s one workout for any time length, and it includes doing a skin care routine! I’m on day 8 and I’m feel really good even though it was leg day for me yesterday 😂
About reading, does it have to be a real book? What about comics, magazines and newspapers? Comics are fun to read. Magazines have sports, fashion, games, etc. And newspapers have a lot of facts and current events going on in the real world. Technically, they all count as reading.

I found Atomic Habits super repetitive and I didnt enjoy it. I read The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg and found it was the same idea as Atomic Habits but it kept my full attention. I listened to the audiobook for both and found it easy to get through 11 hours of The Power of Habit and only made it through 5/7 hours of Atomic Habits before it lost me

About reading, does it have to be a real book? What about comics, magazines and newspapers? Comics are fun to read. Magazines have sports, fashion, games, etc. And newspapers have a lot of facts and current events going on in the real world. Technically, they all count as reading.
The rules say it must be a non fiction or self help book

I found Atomic Habits super repetitive and I didnt enjoy it. I read The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg and found it was the same idea as Atomic Habits but it kept my full attention. I listened to the audiobook for both and found it easy to get through 11 hours of The Power of Habit and only made it through 5/7 hours of Atomic Habits before it lost me
