I think your creativity has "broken" boundaries - above and beyond what is expected in the journal "industry". My dear Meg, your journal "lives" and breathes" the story and above all we feel your desire to touch and convey your excitement and abilities to the new owner of the journal. Each and every page reveals to us a layer that was discovered only to you and was created in honor of the "sounds of music". The creation of the journal Undoubtedly, illustrated the story, without words because the music is constantly playing in the background. My dear, you have gained a talent that increases as time goes by. The beauty, the ability to shape the characters and the "hearing" of the creative music in the journal are equal in value and taste like sweet and "old" wine.
💕Gorgeous journals Meg! I love the Sound of Music! Love the way you set up the pages, wonderful movie quotes and fun facts. TFS 💕
Oh my gosh!!! I don’t know where to start! I think the frog in the pocket is adorable! Loved that you combined the movie and actual story in the journal, especially the quotes. The fabric swatches were a great addition! The factoids were so interesting and I hope the future owners of these lovely journals will include them in their journals. The armoire with the dress is amazing! Long ago I had a large armoire rubber stamp, sure wish I still had that! Lol! And the Declaration of Intention for Maria is so interesting! So anxious to see the other two. Hugs to you, Meg!
I love the little tidbits of history and factoids that you provided along with your flip through of these 2 journals. These are 2 fine examples of journals with the Sound of Music theme. So well-planned and constructed. You're a great curator of all sorts of vintage items for journals. I love these.
Gracious! These journals are nothing short of stunning. Every page loaded with thoughtful, creative details that show your love for the movie and passion for your craft. You are truly inspiring! Thank you for sharing - can’t wait to see the next two!! 💛
I have been watching this video holding my breath. I am just entralled! This might be some of the most wonderful journals I've ever seen. So very creative, thoughtful and beautiful! I love the fabric swatches, the dress with the frog in the pocket, the wardrobe and all the curated perfect ephemera! Oh my goodness! Thanks for the bits of facts and history too. I appreciate that. This is one of my favorite movies and you've made it come to life again. Finally - I just so love how you incorporated My Favorite Things into the journals. WOW. I am so very impressed. I almost feel like I've been to these places!
Omgoodness!! These beyond beautiful journals are packed with so many well thought out goodies! I especially loved the swatches, the quotes, the "My Favorite Things" touches...absolutely everything!
Hi Meg. So much detail. Thoroughly done! ❤❤ hope the recipients love them as much as we loved seeing them!
You did such a good job! They are beautiful! The recipients are blessed to have them!
Those journals are unbelievably good! It was so inspiring to watch! Thank you so much!
Meg - I am only through the first journal, but my gosh, it is just gorgeous. I love the patterned paper you chose, all the lace, all the Alpine-looking ribbons, all the thoughtful and inspired details. I love the business cards you created - SO clever and well done - not just the graphic design, but the names and types of businesses you dreamed up. I loved the lederhosen inspired fabric flip, and the fabric for the cover. Bravo! 👏
These are spectacular! I love this movie and the score and you have brought it to life. Lifting you up in prayer and sending strength and courage to face the unknown. My heart is with you. Hugs, teri
How creative and fun! I think you definitely did justice to the movie.
This is brilliant. The little details inspired by the movie are amazing! ❤️
These are my favorite journals you have made. Genius, seriously! Plus, I love this movie!!!💜💜💜💜
Wow!! The Sound of Music is one of my favorite movies. I watched it with my grandmom when I was little. We loved the song, “Edelweiss” ❤ beautifully done 😍
Oh my goodness! So many perfect touches in your journals. The Frog in the pocket? Too funny! (You showed the photo of the Baroness - one of my favorite lines is when she says to Max, "you didn't tell me I should bring my harmonica!") She brought so much to that role. The armoire with the blue dress; the telegram; the sheet music; the quotes - I have to stop. The Favorite Things!!! I, too, read Maria's book, back in high school, I believe. And I also got to visit the Von Trappe hotel in Stowe. Somewhere I have pictures from that, back when my kids were still little. Thank you for sharing your art. It was worth the wait.🤗🙏
Absolutely beautiful ❤❤❤ Prayers sent your way.❤
I just realized that I forgot to leave a comment on this video! These journals are so full of amazing detail! You represented so much of the movie and their life. I’m so happy the the book came in handy for these. ❤
Love love love these journals!
These journals are so lovely!!! Too many things mention I love it all! Lol. 👏🏻😍
Wow Wow Wow what a treasure ❤️
Spectacular job👏👏👏
These are so beautiful and that fabric is certainly just right for the covers. I don't know what the community page is but I hope all is well with you and your family.
Meg these are amazing! You put so much love into them. You captured the story perfectly. Love the Austrian ephemera. My great grandparents were from Switzerland and Germany, and I have lots of their French and German docs and photos. They ended up immigrating to Cincinnati. Xo
Your attention to detail is amazing! I love these journals.
In a previous video you mentioned a Mary Poppins journal. Do you have videos of that one as well? I would love to see them!
@@kelsiewadsworth4715 I plan to make those later this summer! :)
