Appreciate all the support and attention this has gotten, I'm doing a playthrough on Dead Space which you can watch here. / ruclips.net/p/PLNKYEp37oF6xr851XJUKLOjT2GgbtrZDm&si=tduZbdghcn4jtdAD
That's insane. Bandai stopped LN1 and 2 from being as dark as Tarsier wanted to make it. These folks literally made the game and now you finally get to see their true creative vision as to how they wanted the series to be made. LN3 looks alright but this trailer literally gives goosebumps of excitement.
Bandai put a cap on what was allowed in the LN universe for what was appropriate, like gore, and maybe even story, idk. Tarsier disbanded themselves from the contract with Bandai so they can freely be creative. REANIMAL is basically LN III, but obviously Tarsier doesn’t own LN’s anymore, so they can’t use the original characters. RE-ANIMAL is basically the RE-vival of the LN series through a different perspective. One that was wanted to be show cased probably in LN II by Tarsier but weren’t allowed by Bandai.
Bandai didn't put a cap on tarsier. Tarsier themselves built their own world. What supermassive is making is merely just copying what tarsier would've made. They gave Bandai and supermassive not only the lore book, but some employees who have experience with the little nightmares universe. Reanimal is a NEW game from tarsier. NOTHING related to little nightmares. It's just their art style. THEIR DNA IN BOTH GAMES, and both games look amazing to me. Don't turn the games on each other pls
@@evilcringelord5855Thank you for saying the facts. Tarsier was bought by the Embracer company and essentially made a spiritual successor to Little Nightmares. They didn’t leave cause of restrictions, they don’t hate bandits or supermassive for continuing the games. People should stop talking like there is tension between these studios when there clearly isn’t.
@@evilcringelord5855 Idk, as some random guy said before, competition is healthy in a game dev environment, also, tarsier was limited not only by Bandai, but by themselves, during the development of both little nightmares games, tarsier wanted to keep the game 16+, and bandai wanted to keep more of the super scary stuff out, now that tarsier is in embracer group, they are free to express their artstyle as much as they want.
@@evilcringelord5855 thank you, this is truth right here, plus tarsier literally said on twitter that all the LN3 awards were deserved and "LNIII looks awesome!" supermassive aren't there to reboot it, they are there to continue it. And as you said, I'm pretty certain supermassive are just doing what tarsier would've done anyway.
I think reanimal is a story about the escape of the children from the littlenightmares series itself but they only changed the ip and also in terms of graphic quality
In the games description, it mentions it's a brother and sister going to rescue their friends in a spiralling pit of hell. Although that would be a great Easter egg if it was actually connected by some awesome reveal at the end, although i imagine this to be highly unlikely.
Tarsier Studios themselves said, this is something completely new. It is not linked to Little Nightmares. Of course there are similarities, but they really want to steer away from Little Nightmares, they already did so very quickly after the second one came out.
You are doing yourself a disservice not playing LN1 and 2. Rhis game is going ro be incredible. You need to go back and olay both. Tariaser is finally able to make rhe game they want to make and isnt restricted from making their game a lot darker. Bandai held back a kof of their creative vision.

I equally excited for both games! We got a double desert, with different tastes! We should enjoy both equally!
Never said you couldn't... both are different in their own right; this is just more appealing to me.
One of the few really rare game im waiting for.. this look amazing and will be playable in local coop and online coop
I agree. There are not many games this year I'm overly hyped for. However, this feels like it'll be a great experience once it is released.
I’m more excited for this then little nightmares 3
Likewise personally

Huh, glad to understand more on the information. Thanks for letting me know

I’m definitely gonna watch this game over LN3 because it’s a different studio, and just feels odd
Thegameattic let's bet, if reanimal surpassed Ln3 can I get a big shout out?

I'm currently editing my first part of Little Nightmares 1 and you can expect more gameplays in the future 👍
