The reason why it was rushed is that one of the people working on it, the main story writer I think, died during the development of the game so everyone else had to make do with what they had.
@@humanhuman7280 That's what I'm saying, people have gotten WAY too comfortable with a rushed game under the argument of "they'll fix it later" as opposed to it being delayed and reworked/polished to best represent the screenwriter's original vision. The ending to save everyone looks really difficult to do unless you are good at shooting the infected animals under pressure to save the rest of the uninfected animals if you are not good at working in under pressure then don’t play this game.
It's not that hard. The animals are rather clunky, and they stop, like dead stop, occasionally. To top it off, you have tolerance that if you miss the shot by few inches it still counts as hit as you can see in the hippo (3:20)

today is the age of low quality, people are impatient, high standards are called hatefulness and non-inclusivity and quality is laughably enough attributed to natural traits instead of experience used.
So much detail in the animals and their behaviors along with the transformations, but aside from that, everything else felt completely rushed and/or lackluster in comparison to what the trailers were hinting we would get. Such a shame.
Interesting how all these animals can be saved and reverted back even after the parasite had been in them long enough to cause all those body horror disfiguring mutations to their bodies.

It’s actually quite sad cause the writer died midway through production and you can tell when he died because the dialogue and explanations become pretty lackluster. I reckon they just wanted to release the game as soon as possible because they just couldn’t do it without him, or maybe it was some other reason but whatever the case I wish they’d just put more time into it.
Honestly, it will be more realistic and tragic if "saving" the animal simply means "putting them out of their misery". This can also be implemented in the game so that we can only get the parasite out of them (and hence, the poison) if we "cure" them before they die. 1:17 so i know that its a video game, but jsut a random fact for peoplr. Horses can not burp or vomit
eerm i always thought it didnt throw up though since none of stomach acid came out
I like to think it just crawled out cause of the cure running within the animal host
Good thing zebras are closer related to donkeys then, eh?
...
I'll be here all week.
And everything went back to normal! Seriously, there is NO WAY that the animals can just de-mutate the easily
They're built different
I dont get why people are complaining so much. This is the good ending ffs
Why do their faces move like the 400% facial expressions mods
if I had to guess, foreign game, so the mouth movements probably sort of match the original language script and is wild for everything else
It’s kind of weird how all the animals there are not carnivorous and mostly eat plants
ah yes the penguin is my favorite herbivore
@@Toiletdeer it was clearly a human made species of herbivorous penguin
I thought the penguins ate fish?
I think it adds to the horror. The transformations cause a horrific hunger for meat in an animal that normally doesn't want to eat that.
penguins are carnivores, gorillas will often eat meat, and hippos will eat basically anything
3:34 the hippo would’ve just kept attacking anyway *sip*
Yeah them hippos be hella aggressive and territorial. If this was real, we'd be torn apart by that same hippo we saved.
Pretty sure it'd take time to recover, probably running away. They aren't nonstop killers; they will run if they know something's wrong
@@iaminsideyourwalls2021 the lore says we are infected with the parasite so none of the animals are going to attack us.
😂 those facial animations though
the game was rushed is the biggest disappointment imagine how good it could be but a generic horror game
The reason why it was rushed is that one of the people working on it, the main story writer I think, died during the development of the game so everyone else had to make do with what they had.
@@goofnutgav that's not an excuse to rush the game
@@Rifqiethehero its pretty much a reason to delay it and they did the opposite for no reason at all
@@humanhuman7280 That's what I'm saying, people have gotten WAY too comfortable with a rushed game under the argument of "they'll fix it later" as opposed to it being delayed and reworked/polished to best represent the screenwriter's original vision. Just because he passed doesn't excuse a poorly made game.
@@DJace3000 “Idc if someone major on the team died, game more important”
As an animal lover this would be the ending I would want
Same
me too
The ending to save everyone looks really difficult to do unless you are good at shooting the infected animals under pressure to save the rest of the uninfected animals if you are not good at working in under pressure then don’t play this game.
Or you are really good at distracting the animals so they don't eat the others
They can't kill you so just don't make them kill the other animals
It's not that hard. The animals are rather clunky, and they stop, like dead stop, occasionally. To top it off, you have tolerance that if you miss the shot by few inches it still counts as hit as you can see in the hippo (3:20)
Thank you for making a video about saving all the animals. I've actually wanted to know what happened when you cure them and i haven't found a youtuber took note in getting the good ending
Crazy how they deformed the animal beyon recignition but after get got the cure they just revert the animal back to normal like nothing happened
Wish they added transformation animations…would add to the gruesomeness of it
I think the moose and the hippo were supposed to have the transformation animations, and other animals were supposed to have it too, but maybe something went wrong and the Devs decided to not add the animations because they would be glitchy or didn't work properly at the moment. @@Jabong808
3:06 we got to see the transformation animation 😂
It's awfully nice for the mutagenic parasite to revert the animals back to how they're supposed to be before dying.
What a good lad. Doing so much impossible work mere moments before death.
I'm surprised a creature that has suffered so much mutations and body damage can cure just like that
You’re not you when you’re hungry. Have a snickers!
The music you hear during a mutated animal is... Bassy, thumping in the back of your head telling you to DO SOMETHING!
The fact that mutated animals just revert back into normal forms is kind of a bummer, not going to lie.
You got to the point and shown all the scenes people wanted to see (unlike some videos that took forever)! Take a Like! You deserve it!
The elephant stepped on the parasite
I'm sorry, but how can ANYTHING recover that that!
i think the gorilla is the coolest because of its appearance and when it was screaming it sound like it was shouting HEY!!!
What just happened? I saw a skeleton😰 1:31
if they ever add extra content or DLC to this game i’d love it if the animals got strange scars on their bodies from being sick / infected.
Peta gets a mental breakdown every time someone mentions this game
Agony, Scorn and Zoochosis are such a wasted potential and so over hyped
Swear, amazing indie games with wasted potential, I’m interested in the zoochosis lore though, I hope they expand on it
Scorn is pretty good wdym
Horror games have such a low bar for quality, let alone gameplay quality.
today is the age of low quality, people are impatient, high standards are called hatefulness and non-inclusivity and quality is laughably enough attributed to natural traits instead of experience used.
add we happy few too
So much detail in the animals and their behaviors along with the transformations, but aside from that, everything else felt completely rushed and/or lackluster in comparison to what the trailers were hinting we would get. Such a shame.
I love how they’re just so chill after they hurl a zombie parasite… they’re just like “oh. Okay. I’m gonna go get lunch now.”
Interesting how all these animals can be saved and reverted back even after the parasite had been in them long enough to cause all those body horror disfiguring mutations to their bodies.
It’s a nice touch that when
The elephant coughs up the parasite it grabs onto it at the back of its throat and throws it out of its mouth with its trunk
Weirdly goofy the way they just instantly transform back
It's not goofy to suddenly mutate in the first place? Or alien face huggers invading your body? Or a zoo feeding humans to the animals? That's where you draw the line though huh? 🤡
@@MarkTravis-l6g What is with you?? You come barging out with these types of rhetoric comments on how explaining these are just physics in video games.. which is true! Considering game's logics break the laws of itself as in real life they don't.
But why? Why do you come out with these rough, edgy comments when replying to others' takes on how life physics should or shouldn't work? Just reply positively and not with pent-up anger. Don't make a unnecessary fuss on everyone here!
@daetomrossington3623 it's a game about mutated monsters that don't exist. It's completely science fiction yet you complain about the realism of them changing back as if the entire thing isn't ridiculous. It's honestly insane and i think you should be locked away and studied.
@@MarkTravis-l6g Hmm.. I'm the one complaining?? You subject to coming at people who have their own interests when the animals mutate. Whoever messed your day up, I feel sorry for you to act out on corners of the internet like this and you must be over the age of 15? 16? 🤷🤦

I dont even have this game or plan on playing it but i liked listening and watching 👍
One thing i find to be wacky apart from the movement of the animals is how the irreversible damage which is seen done by the parasite just gets reversed in an instant like nothing happened. Like no slow transformation or anything. Game has alot of potential, hope they can update it more to make it more disturbing.
You are the first person who really saved all the animals (including the not infected)
I like how the Zebra put it's guts back in.
13:25 the most funny comeback 😂
I love that in the ending when you save everyone paul and sarha destroy doc's car :)
I'm glad you can save the woman. I was watching a playthrough and stopped watching when I got to that part of the story
I like your voice! Very calming.

Uhhh, what?
i only fw it because i saw someone made a horror game in reels 🙏
The lack of actual transformation animations is really lackluster
2:24 Kong could look like that if a titan parasite go to the Hollow Earth and gets inside of him
We are cooked if that thing existed
Imagine what would happen if Godzilla got infected with that parasite
idk why, but i find it funny that not only is the poor zebras leg just breaking as it coughs up this creature... but equids _cannot vomit_ . their digestion is a 1 way track. so this implies, to me, that curing an animal makes the thing crawl out of them
I’m sorry but that’s zebra having a booty that’s gonna toss you is something else lol
0:28 starting to cure all the animals
?
you're the kind of guy that everyone would invite to parties
the ass mouth zebra will always get me😭
I mean some people can call it lazy that there is no animation but people must understand that it`s hard to actualy make the Original idea when the person who had that idea died early in the making...all they could do is realese what they thought would be enough since they didnt knew the original idea fully...if only they did shared some talk with him before making the game or he wrote the entire script of story...but over all im not dissapointed! I do belive it`s still a great game!
Maybe not lazy but absolutely no creativity.
Like-if they weren’t sure they could’ve taken creative liberties and tried to make something that makes actual sense than releasing a half baked game.

I'm guessing the spider wil get more legs
Spiders are too small for the parasite to fit
The spider goes inside the parasite and it just gets more legs
@@ChasetheYTcheetah must be a small spider
@metal_pipe9764 Not to be too needy, but you do realize there are much smaller types of parasites to fit in a much pint-sized host, right??
Think of the tongue-parasites for fish.. Those underwater parasites are small enough to be able to fit in any smaller-bodied specimen
I like how thr elephant doesn't hork up so much as reach in and pulls the paracite out of it's mouth

How the zebra turns around and acts like it was not just now trying to eat things with its ass...
Awesome vid
Honestly, it will be more realistic and tragic if "saving" the animal simply means "putting them out of their misery".
This can also be implemented in the game so that we can only get the parasite out of them (and hence, the poison) if we "cure" them before they die.
Its gonna be sad, but well, its better than watching those abomination completely revert back in less than a minute, "somehow".
