Just wanted to mention that the right parasite to choose at the end depends on their behavior. I went with the one where the parasite wasn't moving or trying to fight others, and that was the correct one for this playthrough!

@@milesedgeworth3667yeah but like, HOW??? Is the drug both a parasite destroyer and ANTI MUTAGEN? Like, specifically designed to do the whole backwards process? Cuz that mskes no sense, nor really justifies the effort
Would've been cool if each animal had its own animation of ridding themselves of the parasite. Like when the elephant goes to remove the parasite, it rips it out of its own throat, then proceeds to stomp on it in rage, knowing what it did it to them. Would make it feel even more satisfying to save them, them recognizing you as the person there to help them.
Might hamper game progression, as they are quite important later on. But I'll admit, the elephant being angry (and possibly sad because of what it was forced to do) at the parasite is definitely something within their thought process
The animals going back to normal after coughing up the parasites implies two things; Number one: these horrifying transformations are reversible, which is really funny considering the giraffe is split down the middle vertically, the gorilla is split down the middle horizontally, the elephant's organs are hanging out, the wallaby turned into diddy, and the penguin's beak split down the middle. Number two: a _single organism_ that is an entirely separate being from the host animal is responsible for the drastic and gruesome changes we see.

The ending to save everyone looks really difficult to do unless you are good at shooting the infected animals under pressure to save the rest of the uninfected animals if you are not good at working in under pressure then don’t play this game.
It's not that hard. The animals are rather clunky, and they stop, like dead stop, occasionally. To top it off, you have tolerance that if you miss the shot by few inches it still counts as hit as you can see in the hippo (3:20)
Seeing the gorilla for the first time made my jaw drop with how brutal the transformation was, how it’s head and entire back half of its torso turned into a giant mouth.
One of things I’m most disappointed by is that we never actually get to see the transformations. While they weren’t shown in the trailer either, the trailer did make it seem like we would see it happen right in front of us, and it would be so horrifying. That would have been so cool and so scary. This game had so much potential. Edit: I will also mention that it feels so annoying that the animals can’t actually kill us in the game. It’s pretty much a big rule nowadays that if an enemy is able to get up in your face and jump-scare you, it’s equals death. I know that’s not always the case depending on the game’s story, but here it feels like they completely forgot to make the animals able to kill you. Or at the very least lower your health somehow.
eerm i always thought it didnt throw up though since none of stomach acid came out I like to think it just crawled out cause of the cure running within the animal host
It's awfully nice for the mutagenic parasite to revert the animals back to how they're supposed to be before dying. What a good lad. Doing so much impossible work mere moments before death.
today is the age of low quality, people are impatient, high standards are called hatefulness and non-inclusivity and quality is laughably enough attributed to natural traits instead of experience used.
Thank you for making a video about saving all the animals. I've actually wanted to know what happened when you cure them and i haven't found a youtuber took note in getting the good ending
I mean some people can call it lazy that there is no animation but people must understand that it`s hard to actualy make the Original idea when the person who had that idea died early in the making...all they could do is realese what they thought would be enough since they didnt knew the original idea fully...if only they did shared some talk with him before making the game or he wrote the entire script of story...but over all im not dissapointed! I do belive it`s still a great game!
Maybe not lazy but absolutely no creativity. Like-if they weren’t sure they could’ve taken creative liberties and tried to make something that makes actual sense than releasing a half baked game.

I really hope that this game one day gets a complete rework, kind of like No Man's Sky where it released buggy and unfinished but eventually turned into a great game. I want this game to be good for so many reasons but the rng and the lack of actual threat really sucks. Like how is your job as a zookeeper supposed to be finding out what animal is sick in a game about parasites, when the actual mutations have NO correlation to what animal is sick or not. I get that the designs are very cool and they wanted to show them off but there was certainly a better way to do so :/
It’s actually quite sad cause the writer died midway through production and you can tell when he died because the dialogue and explanations become pretty lackluster. I reckon they just wanted to release the game as soon as possible because they just couldn’t do it without him, or maybe it was some other reason but whatever the case I wish they’d just put more time into it.
"Hey your FUCKING HEAD SPLIT IN TWO! ... ... Dont worry, here, have this injection, good as new~!" Is this world made of cartoon characters or something..?
Who knows, I assume that more time passes during the static screens and the animals revert back to normal in the matter of more than a couple of minutes before spitting out the parasite. The injection might weaken the parasite and its effects on the host, causing the animal to kinda...Glue back together as the parasite weakens more and more before they eventually spit it out. I've read some of the comments and figured that the parasite dissolves and pretty much melts the host's flesh, and my guess is that the vaccine has an effect that is the opposite of what the parasite does: it might melt the host's flesh again and make them stick back together. However, I'd find it more accurate if they showed that the animals weren't all okay after just spitting out that parasite, and it would be more logical too. They could've shown them laying unconscious or trying to get their bearings together, but I hope that they will add it in the next updates.
Honestly, it will be more realistic and tragic if "saving" the animal simply means "putting them out of their misery". This can also be implemented in the game so that we can only get the parasite out of them (and hence, the poison) if we "cure" them before they die. Its gonna be sad, but well, its better than watching those abomination completely revert back in less than a minute, "somehow".
Can you imagine if they didn't turn back and you had these horribly mutated animals that are no longer hostile, but have new care needs and could never be released into the wild

@@goofnutgav that's not an excuse to rush the game
@@Rifqiethehero its pretty much a reason to delay it and they did the opposite for no reason at all
@@humanhuman7280 That's what I'm saying, people have gotten WAY too comfortable with a rushed game under the argument of "they'll fix it later" as opposed to it being delayed and reworked/polished to best represent the screenwriter's original vision. Just because he passed doesn't excuse a poorly made game.
@@DJace3000 “Idc if someone major on the team died, game more important”
It's crazy, imagine curing a Necromorph who's horribly disfigured with body parts missing, and they instantly revert to a normal human again with all the parts included.
It’s kind of weird how all the animals there are not carnivorous and mostly eat plants
ah yes the penguin is my favorite herbivore
@@Toiletdeer it was clearly a human made species of herbivorous penguin
I thought the penguins ate fish?
I think it adds to the horror. The transformations cause a horrific hunger for meat in an animal that normally doesn't want to eat that.
penguins are carnivores, gorillas will often eat meat, and hippos will eat basically anything
That ending paragraph alone would make English teachers mutate into eldricth horror over how badly typed it is.
And everything went back to normal! Seriously, there is NO WAY that the animals can just de-mutate the easily
They're built different
I dont get why people are complaining so much. This is the good ending ffs
Crazy how they deformed the animal beyon recignition but after get got the cure they just revert the animal back to normal like nothing happened
Wish they added transformation animations…would add to the gruesomeness of it
I think the moose and the hippo were supposed to have the transformation animations, and other animals were supposed to have it too, but maybe something went wrong and the Devs decided to not add the animations because they would be glitchy or didn't work properly at the moment. @@Jabong808
their mouths move like those "resident evil but the facial animations are turned up to 200%" videos lol
The ending to save everyone looks really difficult to do unless you are good at shooting the infected animals under pressure to save the rest of the uninfected animals if you are not good at working in under pressure then don’t play this game.
Or you are really good at distracting the animals so they don't eat the others
They can't kill you so just don't make them kill the other animals
It's not that hard. The animals are rather clunky, and they stop, like dead stop, occasionally. To top it off, you have tolerance that if you miss the shot by few inches it still counts as hit as you can see in the hippo (3:20)
Seeing the gorilla for the first time made my jaw drop with how brutal the transformation was, how it’s head and entire back half of its torso turned into a giant mouth.
As an animal lover this would be the ending I would want
Same
me too
One of things I’m most disappointed by is that we never actually get to see the transformations.
The music you hear during a mutated animal is... Bassy, thumping in the back of your head telling you to DO SOMETHING!
1:17 so i know that its a video game, but jsut a random fact for peoplr. Horses can not burp or vomit
eerm i always thought it didnt throw up though since none of stomach acid came out
I like to think it just crawled out cause of the cure running within the animal host
I like how the other animals in the pen act like nothing happened when their homie barfs up an alien parasite
I like how the good ending is caused by just communicating well with people over the phone.
😂 those facial animations though
It's awfully nice for the mutagenic parasite to revert the animals back to how they're supposed to be before dying.
What a good lad. Doing so much impossible work mere moments before death.
I'm sorry, but how can ANYTHING recover that that!
Agony, Scorn and Zoochosis are such a wasted potential and so over hyped
Swear, amazing indie games with wasted potential, I’m interested in the zoochosis lore though, I hope they expand on it
Scorn is pretty good wdym
Horror games have such a low bar for quality, let alone gameplay quality.
today is the age of low quality, people are impatient, high standards are called hatefulness and non-inclusivity and quality is laughably enough attributed to natural traits instead of experience used.
add we happy few too
if they ever add extra content or DLC to this game i’d love it if the animals got strange scars on their bodies from being sick / infected.
i think the gorilla is the coolest because of its appearance and when it was screaming it sound like it was shouting HEY!!!
3:06 we got to see the transformation animation 😂
Thank you for making a video about saving all the animals. I've actually wanted to know what happened when you cure them and i haven't found a youtuber took note in getting the good ending
You got to the point and shown all the scenes people wanted to see (unlike some videos that took forever)! Take a Like! You deserve it!
I'm surprised a creature that has suffered so much mutations and body damage can cure just like that
I mean some people can call it lazy that there is no animation but people must understand that it`s hard to actualy make the Original idea when the person who had that idea died early in the making...all they could do is realese what they thought would be enough since they didnt knew the original idea fully...if only they did shared some talk with him before making the game or he wrote the entire script of story...but over all im not dissapointed! I do belive it`s still a great game!
Maybe not lazy but absolutely no creativity.
Like-if they weren’t sure they could’ve taken creative liberties and tried to make something that makes actual sense than releasing a half baked game.

I'm glad you can save the woman. I was watching a playthrough and stopped watching when I got to that part of the story
The elephant stepped on the parasite
The fact that mutated animals just revert back into normal forms is kind of a bummer, not going to lie.
So much detail in the animals and their behaviors along with the transformations, but aside from that, everything else felt completely rushed and/or lackluster in comparison to what the trailers were hinting we would get. Such a shame.
One thing i find to be wacky apart from the movement of the animals is how the irreversible damage which is seen done by the parasite just gets reversed in an instant like nothing happened. Like no slow transformation or anything. Game has alot of potential, hope they can update it more to make it more disturbing.
Weirdly goofy the way they just instantly transform back
It's not goofy to suddenly mutate in the first place? Or alien face huggers invading your body? Or a zoo feeding humans to the animals? That's where you draw the line though huh? 🤡
@@MarkTravis-l6g What is with you?? You come barging out with these types of rhetoric comments on how explaining these are just physics in video games.. which is true! Considering game's logics break the laws of itself as in real life they don't.

@metal_pipe9764 Not to be too needy, but you do realize there are much smaller types of parasites to fit in a much pint-sized host, right??

I dont even have this game or plan on playing it but i liked listening and watching 👍

"Hey your FUCKING HEAD SPLIT IN TWO!
... ...
Dont worry, here,have this injection,good as new~!"
Is this world made of cartoon characters or something..?
