Could you make a video talking about the difference in buying yarn from places like Micheals, Joanns, Hobby Lobby, etc., vs buying from small town stores that have expensive yarn. I have access to both and its nice to support small business but its so expensive that I don't find it worth it for most projects.
My Joann's has those Watercolor cakes on clearance for $2!! Only certain colorways, but there were about 4 or 5 of them - in both vibrant and neutral colors! I suggest looking at other Joann's, if you've got more than one in your area.

If you are watching this in 2023 here is the T on Big Twist: Living: It indeed is a beautiful yarn to WORK with. It is NOT a NO PILL yarn. It is a LOW PILL yarn, meaning it will pill but not as bad as an acrylic yarn or a roving yarn will. Another thing to know is that it will bleed upon washing so do not wash it with any whites. I am speaking from experience here. The black and white of course won’t bleed, but the other colors like red and blue will so wash it in COLD water even though the label says warm water. With this knowledge you will have a very soft project finish and with proper care, long term use. HTH someone 🥰🧶🧶🧶
Hi Erin! Have you come across Bernat's O'Go yarn in Joann? When I was there the other day, my store was selling them for buy one get three free!! But the yarn felt weirdly waxy and left a bad feel on my hands so I passed on buying them, even though they were ridiculously marked down. Any thoughts on these yarns?
