Hedman (sure shot 1st ballot) and Stamkos{HOF but not 1st) and Kucherov, Vasilevskiy, and Point are well on their way. Aside from Rice, the Bucs core stars were guys who started in Tampa and gave back to the community that gave to them. There's just something special about 2020 Bolts and 2002 Bucs that I'll never get from a ring chasing twilight merc squad. I am glad David is getting the recognition he deserves now. One of the best stories I ever heard Mr. Sapp tell is how tough of a guy Brett Favre really was.
Warren said one time they played the Packers and he decided to completely lay Brett out, just give him his hardest hit possible and destroy him.
On a certain play Warren Sapp did exactly that and, according to him, Brett immediately jumped up, slapped Warren on the butt, and said, "Nice hit. Is that all you got?"
Warren said he knew at that moment that there was no way he could get into Brett's head or get under his skin, because that was the best he had, and it didn't even phase Brett.
I would find that story hard to believe if Brett told it, but that came straight from Warren Sapp himself.
Crazy to imagine, because Warren was an absolute beast.

Jerry Rice even at age 39-40 (an age most receivers are long retired) was still a 1,000 yard receiver even in the so called era of “bigger, faster, stronger athletes”.
His career started in 1985, not 1945.
If you’re gonna discredit Rice does that mean you’re gonna discredit the other stars from his era like Dan Marino, Lawrence Taylor, Barry Sanders, Michael Irvin, etc?
