  • Honda has launched an all-new Accord 11 times in their history, and this is by far the best. The previous Accord Hybrid accounted for 20% of sales, but this Hybrid will likely account for 50% of sales because it is the upgraded engine for the Accord. Stylish, roomy, comfortable and sporty are just some of the words to describe this well-executed sedan. #honda #accord #hondaaccord #hybrid #accordhybrid #camry #altima #rondoron #carreview #4k

    Great review - love the drone shots... well done! The Accord is going to be our next car. We already have a SUV for pulling a utility trailer and making dump runs - the sedan will be for everything else!

    I will say, the style is beginning to grow on me. At first i wasn’t convinced, actually quite hated it but there’s a slight interest in it now. Still not a fan of the hybrid only power train cause I wanted the 2.0t. I’m going to be waiting to see what Toyota does with the Camry and Tacoma. I’m eyeing those 3 vehicles for my next purchase

    You should have more subs and likes. I would use a 2nd cam or so for a closer zoom on your face while you're talking from far away. Other than that great production value.

    You don't like Google assistance or the Google operating system? Also what did you think of cabin quietness and ride quality? Thanks

      Kelly, I just picked up our 2023 Touring Hybrid a few days ago. Based on my experiences, I was petrified of the 19" wheels and tires. One of my sons owns a '22 2.0 Sport and another son had a '20 Sport 1.5. I rented a similar car and put nearly 3,000 miles on it. In typical Honda fashion, these cars had way too much tire and road noise emanating into the cabin. Throw in a rough road and I couldn't take it! This one is different. Despite the 19" wheel and tire, I thing the road noise is the same or less than our 2019 Acura RDX. Of course, the 17" wheels and tires on the lower trims will probably have a little better ride, better fuel economy and even less road noise. All that Honda claims to have done has paid off in a quiet vehicle. Now, if only there were no potholes in SE Wisconsin to destroy those wheels on those low profile tires.

    It's 204 hp not 181 in the hybrid and the revised CVT in the 1.5 models has been refined this year. No noise at all.

    I bought the 23 Accord EXL nice car BUT Honda is being sneaky eliminating standards that customers will not realize is missing until they get it home. NO more Spare Tire (they eliminated it) - so much for customer safety, do not get a flat tire in the middle of nowhere, a tow Truck can only tow you if you blow-out the sidewall of the tire at a great expense. No HomeLink buttons for opening the garage door (they eliminated that too). Its unsafe to clip the garage door to your car's visor the old fashion way.

    I sat in this car recently and was struck by the cheap look of the gloss black materials inside. I won't comment on the Taurus like front. grill.

    • @volcalstone
      @volcalstone Год назад

      Yeah last gen didn't have any gloss black at all and it was perfect. I wish Honda would've made the inside of the Accord different from all of their other vehicles with that full mesh grille. Give us fake wood if you have to. Also to go back to the physical shifter is lame. The buttons are so much cleaner. I know all of this cause I used to have a 20 Accord Touring. Don't even get me started on the list of the 2.OT.

    Why does the EXL get better gas mileage?

    Extremely impressed? It already needs a refresh. The civic hatch sport touring looks better. Then once the Hybrid Civic Hatch Sport Touring comes out that will be an even better option.

    Wait for the 2024 Sonata!!

  • @einsaan
    @einsaan Год назад

    How is this a benchmark for mid-size sedans? Why would you not choose lets say a Sonata over this Honda Accord? I think Honda were lazy with Accord this year. There is nothing that distinguishes Accord from Civic. Same black plastic everywhere with the same design. I agree with the great clean exterior but interior just reeks cost cutting and boring black everywhere. Feature wise Sonata is far ahead and easy pick over the Accord and interior is better too. They also forgot A/C vents for back passengers 😮.

    • @RunningAllDay4ever
      @RunningAllDay4ever Год назад +1

      The A/C vents are under the front seats, just like on my 2006 Accord, no problems.

      You were probably in a sport or sport-l, he’s talking about the touring trim

    • @einsaan
      @einsaan Год назад

      @@josueargumedo436 I am comparing price equivalents. For the price of Sonata or Camary XSE, Accord trim in the same price does not have A/C vents in the back. Omitting vents in the Sport-L is a big mistake. Touring trim is over priced anyways for what it has to offer. Compare it with Toyota Crown or even Avalon.

    Accord should be compared with grandeur and k8 instead of sonata and k5. I think accord beats grandeur/k8 by a large margin. It is much more reliable and refined.

    • @ronendoron
      @ronendoron Год назад +2

      Completely disagree. The segment is quite clear - mid-size sedan. That includes Camry, Altima, Sonata, K5, VW Arteon and that's about it. I drove the Accord with one of Hyundai's product planners and he 100% agreed this was a direct competitor to the Sonata. Furthermore, we don't get the K8 in America and it would be a larger vehicle than the Accord. Segmentation in the auto industry is based on size, class and pricing. This is a 5-passenger, four door sedan priced from mid $20K to upper $30K range. Agreed that it's very reliable which is why the Camry is its closest competitor.

    • @SH_K
      @SH_K Год назад

      @@ronendoron Well i should have said i would choose accord over granduer/K8 anytime. As for what hyundai personnel said i would not mind it because in terms of drivability, technological maturity and quality sonata comes no where close - not an inch close to accord. I hardly find people in korea comparing accord with sonata. Car specs might group them together but ground sentiment is different. Koreans at least think they belong to different segment. Lift two cars up, compare parts used and how they are built. You will see.
