The 2023 Honda Accord Touring Is An Electrified Acura-Like Hybrid Sedan

- While most other manufacturers are abandoning family sedans, #Honda is not leaving the segment anytime soon with the redesigned 11th-generation #HondaAccord. This latest #AccordTouring trades some of the sportiness found in the previous generation for a refined #Acura like driving experience that feels noticeably more upmarket than its rivals. The #AccordHybrid will now account for more than 50% of sales and with up to 50 MPG on the #Hybrid, it will deliver the kind of efficiency Accord buyers are looking for.

We finally got our hands on the all-new Accord for a week and even though some of you have voiced your dissatisfaction for the removal of the 2.0T engine, the reality is less than 10% of Accord buyers choose that engine and with a 0-60 MPH time of 6.4 secs, the new hybrid powertrain is only about 0.5 secs slower and gets nearly double the MPG's!
Actually C&D got a 0-60 of 5.3 seconds in the Accord 2.0T longterm test. So it's about a full second or 5 car lengths quicker to 60 than the new Accord Hybrid.
And the hybrid has none of the bonkers throw you in the seat and scare muscle cars ability the 2.0 has
Great way to out it

@@davevolz6138 name a quick one in this segment.
Last gen Accord looks aggressive, this gen looks elegant
As a 32 year old with two kids, got damn this car is appealing. Amazing what 5 years and a family will do to your car tastes.
Same! 31yrs old, 2 kids and a new 1.5hr commute. Filling up almost twice a week is getting old. 😅
Hey I’m 19 I just got one
makes you want an appliance
@@aviator1228I have no kids but I prefer sedans over SUVS anyways Camry and accord will be the benchmark with 2 or 3 kids
This is the first Accord since the early 2000s that will still look good in 20 years!
I bought this car a month ago and agree with most of this review, although I am consistently getting 44 mpg, but keep it in ECO mode 95% of the time. I liked last year's styling better but wasn't willing to buy a used car for almost the same price as a new car. Overall, a very smooth feel, ample pick-up for normal people. It has sensors on everything imaginable, but many are optional. It's a great car, but pricing is bad right now.
I bought a 2022 honda accord T2.0 but am thinking of trade it in for a 2023 honda accord touring.
Would you say the touring is worth it considering the mpg?
This looks better I just wish they kept the turbo engine
@@parksnrecsdetailing I'm getting an average 55 mpg (low 38 up to 77) with my Honda Accord Sport HYBRID model.
My wife & I don't like leather seats on the touring model. Too hot in San Diego CA.
Does it have dimming side mirrors? I feel that dimming mirror inside the car but not outside on sides still blinds you and it's stupid.
Got mine July22 (EX-L), now regularly getting 58-62 mpg in the city. Only one highway trip (250 miles) got 57.4 mpg.
I personally think the previous generation looked better but great review as always
Yes! it had so much more character. I think this gen is fine but ultimately it wont be looked on as fondly as the previous one.
@@LordWinter I also have a 2018 accord sport 1.5 and I absolutely love it.
A 2016 Honda Civic honestly looks more modern.
people always say this about the new gen. when the last gen was new, everyone shat on it for the tail lights
Yep
I got my 2023 Accord EX-L in late March, and have been extremely pleased with it. I'm getting around 52mpg of mixed driving, and the car rides super smooth.
How is the power ? Does it have a decent kick
@@vincelopez8844 It has fairly decent power, especially on take off on battery power and no noisy turbo. It excels at midrange power, such as highway passing.
For a top of the line Touring trim, I'm very disappointed that Honda omitted a heated steering wheel, a 360-degree surround view camera, and SIRIUSXM SATELLITE RADIO! The Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited provides quite a bit more for the money and will receive a significant refresh later this year (for the 2024 model year).
They're also too easy to steal 😂
Honda also omitted Ventilated seats smh.
@@igarrett113 No they didn't.
@@igarrett113 Gassy?
@@igarrett113 No, they didnt, but they are useless anyway until the car is already cold. But many don't have Blind spot monitoring...
When I see the Accord LX I see Ford Taurus when I see the touring Accord I see Chevy Malibu I think Honda should have been a little bit more aggressive with our design just me.
What's your point? All cars look alike in some ways. They all have the similar bodies, 4 wheels, headlights, tailights, trunk etc.
@@RKO859 the car is ugly and looks outdated by 15 years on the exterior. It’s simply not attractive.

We bought a 2023 Accord touring and love it. Only negatives are that the passenger seat is not height adjustable and homelink is an extra.
One thing people are not realizing is it's a Honda Accord and after all of those other competitor cars end up in the scrapyard this Accord will still be running. It may not have every single Bell and whistle but really who needs that. This car has all of the creature comfort you could ever want it is very well-thought-out and the attention to detail and build quality it's fantastic for what it is.
Ugly as sin .
Front end looks already old. Heck , bring along side the previous model and looks better.

@@JADE939 yep same reason 99% are brokies and always bishing about their work and money.🤷🏻♂️..
It isn’t a coincidence, buying “Luxury” Cars for Clout, attention and impressing your fellow brokie neighbors that you don’t even like in the first place just to improve their outlook for you.
Did i read your mentality right?
The main competition for the Accord has always been the Camry. Honda just made a bland, ugly car where it's top engine has 100 fewer HP than the Camry's. This is a recipe for disaster. I have owned a couple of Accords, including the phenomenal '17 V6 Touring. I would NEVER consider this car with the pathetic powertrain options.
I bought an EX-L in early March and have been very happy with it. The only thing I dislike is the black interior as summer weather gets here, but the overuse of black interiors has become a problem with all the Honda models. Too few offer gray or beige (ivory) interiors now. My mpg is average 48-49 in mixed driving, so i can't complain. I chose the EX-L for the features included, and the 17 inch tires that provide better gas mileage and less road noise. I also made sure to get blind spot indicator with my car. Due to a parts shortage, a huge percentage of Accords do not have BSI installed this year. Make sure to ask the dealer about BSI on each car you test drive if that's important to you.
100% My local dealer actually screwed me over and told me my Sport-L would be here by the end of LAST month, but it came in without blind spot monitoring. So now I'm waiting...
48 mpg but you paid too much and have to pay interest and full coverage insurance
@@phatgringo2.0 He never mentioned whether or not he paid cash or has a lien on the car, so you have zero clue as to whether he is paying interest or is required to have comprehensive insurance (although I'm not sure why you wouldn't have comprehensive insurance on a new vehicle even if you paid cash).
@@sawyermartin4434 you're right, great deal on a 24 Taurus with an oatmeal tranny
I had to hold out and pre-order an EX-L with the grey interior. Black interiors get way too hot in the summer.
Im gonna keep my 2018 accord 2.0t sport 10AT forever when I see this.Such a disappointing drivetrain and looks, they really nailed the 10th gen perfectly.
I said the same thing they took the fog lights away and the dual exhaust 😢
Until I drove one I would have agreed with you, now I own a 2023 Touring. Honda is emphasizing performance more in the Acura line and pilfering it out of the Honda lineup.
You're right. I got the 1.5 Touring and it has one of the nicest interior features, only wish I went with 2.0 T
I love it. Reminds me of the Honda that dominated the 90s.
So everyone hating the Accord in the comments actually want an Acura TLX for Honda Accord money 😂
Hi, thanks for all your video's. I always look forward to your reviews.
The 2016 model looked so much better and wasn't so overly-large. When you said it was about the same size as a Toyota Avalon, I was pretty shocked. Seems the new Civic is sized like an Accord now.
Interior was ass in 13-17
@@dfhhtyu3434interior in the 9th gen is meh, but the j35 has a beautiful engine sound.
Im not appreciating the bloating of all vehicles across the board in recent years. If I want to drive a mid size sedan its because its a mid size sedan. The new Ford Ranger is damn near the size of the older gen F150s and the toyota tacoma is the size of the older tundras. Like cmon guys parking spaces havent magically grown across the world in the last decade.
You are correct The Civic is the size of an "Accord" and should be an Accord with a new redesigned smaller Civic making it a "Compact" again,
@@gregorylunsford3991 Honda almost brought to the USA the Honda City. It's even smaller than the Civic. I wish they would. They sell it in Mexico, India, etc.
I love my 2023 Accord Hybrid Touring! The Google integration is second to none and it drives super smooth. Also I have a bit more of a light foot and I have been seeing an average of 44.5 mpg combined city/highway.
I hated the exterior styling when I saw the photos but I really liked it when i saw it in person it looks long, low and classy. They should release a type s version
I got to say this car look better in person
The design is growing in me but I’d still prefer to keep my previous gen sport as I think it’s better and sportier looking on the exterior. One thing I do love about the new accord is that infotainment system.
One thing i like is the rear. Its nicer than the old lobster claws
One of my neighbors has one of these. I find the styling rather bland, compared to the prior model, seems a thing with Honda to alter between sporty and aggressive and non-descript. I really liked the prior Sport 2.0T in that lovely shade of blue. Seems a step backwards not offering the 2.0T.
Blah blah blah blah...it will be OK Timmy.
@@RLTtizME lol
The problem was buyers weren't buying the 2.0T. Manufacturers aren't in the business of making vehicles that sit on dealer lots unsold.
@@mowcowbell It was a low take rate item, so was the V6- Yet several competitors Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai/Kia and Subaru all still offer higher performance options in their Mid Sizers. I think the real reason was to goose TLX sales by making buyers wanting a Honda sedan with more performance go and spend more money at the Acura store down the street.
Agreed. The previous generation looked a little Audi like, almost like an A7, which I liked. The interior of the new Accord looks awful, atrocious actually. The previous generation's interior had a luxury fee and look to it.
Good review Sofyan. It is amazing to see the variation in fuel economy between drivers and locales. I took delivery of my 2023 Touring March 1st in SE Wisconsin. As the weather has heated up and the engine has broken in, I am currently averaging 43.6 mpg in 1500 miles. However, in the last 800 or so miles, it is over 45. This is mix of highway (60-75mph) and city. Yes, I drive with a light foot to get good fuel economy and it is usually in ECO drive mode. Many have said, this looks like an old man's car. Well, I am an old man of 64 and I am loving this car. So glad it is much quieter than the previous generation. That was my main concern.
I have a 2018 Accord Hybrid Touring. It is a bit noisier, but not as bad as some will imply.
In over five years since break-in (not because of break-in, that's when I started keeping detailed records), over all driving conditions, I am averaging 48.0 mpg (it was rated at 47, both city and highway). I'm not an aggressive driver, but I am not passive either. The only thing that I think contributes to my mpg, is not changing speeds aggressively. I try to anticipate stops, and situations where I will want acceleration (like on-ramps). But my foot can be "heavy" when needs be.
I absolutely love the look of this Accord much better than last gen. It looks more like an Acura.
Please tell me you would not park this next to the current TLX and say they look alike with a straight face. 🤦🏻♂️

Great video! You helped me make my mind up to go ahead with the purchase of this model!!
That 0-60 sounded sooo bad Jesus Christ😂😂😂. The real lawnmower. 😂😂😂
Excellent review! I am currently waiting for a Sport-L with blind spot monitoring. They can't seem to keep these Hybrids on the lot, but the gas-only versions can be had fairly easy.
Everyone wants a hybrid, no one really wants all electric or plug in. All electric car sales are down 7% from last year. People usually get common sense when the power goes out and they have to call off work.
Test drove one, having owned a 2018 accord, I feel this is so much refined and better than old gen.. Honda did listen, no more leaf blower sound when you floor it, gear shifter is back, faster with better torque..
Lol 😂 quit lying. This new Accord is definitely NOT faster and does not have better torque than the 10th Gen. A 18-22’ 2.0T 10 speed Accord will dust this new one. I’m the Owner of a 20’ Touring 2.0T 10-Speed. Trust me, I know. Honda stepped backwards with this new Gen.
@@dmcmix1340 unfortunately Honda listened to the people who drive the 1.5t not us who prefer the 2.0t....
@@ericlam3268 exactly! Smh and the real gig is they want us who want a Honda Sedan Product with any type power to step up to a Acura TLX Type-S which is overpriced, underpowered and overweight, or a Civic Type R, which is overpriced, and smaller than the Accord. They didn’t give us the option of buying anything remotely like the 10th Gen options had. I’m good with my ‘20 Touring.
Sorry the last Gen 2.0T laughs are the new car 🤦
Great video, Sofyan. I built these cars in Marysville, Ohio for 23 years and retired in 2018. It's good to see the Accord is still a class leader. Have a wonderful week.
Alex makes better videos as he shows other cars dimensions for comparison. Sofyan has been on cruise control ever since his divorce from hubby #1.
@@phatgringo2.0 now why tf would you say that 😂😂.
No longer a class leader when Honda intentionally leaves out features that every other car has offered for years. Every Honda now looks like a Civic inside and they force you to spend more money for an Acura if you want features that all other cars offer for less.
Man this is probably the most beautiful Honda ever! It’s elegant and serene while also strong and aggressive at the same time. Modern, yet classic. Can’t understand why some people would prefer the childish, laughable angry face designs with nonsense creases everywhere instead. I hope this is the beginning of a new look for Honda!
I've been driving the new 2023 Accord GT Hybrid for about a month now. Generally, I like it so far. Car is very quiet, very happy with gas mileage(47mpg), wonderful engine sound. But I also have a few disappointments. 1. Seats are not that comfortable and cushion seems too thin compare to my old Honda Accord. 2. Lack of head space. My hair touches the roof. 3. 12 inch Infotainment system malfunctioned after 2 and half weeks of driving. (google assist, volume control, skip button not working when you are in wireless mode)
SonyK should note that is Canadian MPG.
I LOVE this new Accord; I think the styling blows the previous generation away, and I loved that car. This new accord looks so much more elegant; has a bold presence, that retains its sporting character in its styling. It looks sexy and more like a big line luxury car. It reminds me of an Audi A7, but the Accord, in my opinion looks even better. I’m in love with this car. I want one really bad ! As always, great review !
I agree with all of this. I have a sport trim, it’s replacing my 2010 and I love it!
Couldn’t agree with you more.
I agree, Tim. This vehicle is a beauty! Wasn't an easy task finding one in the Canyon River Blue color that I wanted, but finally secured one. Everything about the car is outstanding - from the exterior, to the interior, to the gas mileage, etc., etc. Has many of the features of more expensive luxury cars. Like you, I think it even looks better than the Audi A7!
@@mikemichaels1490 Congratulations to you. Oh, I’m so happy and excited for you. It sounds like you bought the top of the line, Touring trim? That’s the trim I would want as it has ALL the bells and whistles, and no cost cutting on interior trim (door panels, etc.), found on lower Accord level trims, shamefully, as every Honda Accord trim should have full padding trim on all 4 door panels, not just the fronts. Whenever I discovered that the rear door panels,on lower trim models are all hard plastics, save for the mildly padded Rubbermaid arms rests, I thought to myself; “OMG, what is the world coming to”. Quite frankly, this dismal surprise, on a Honda Accord, is well, SACRILEGIOUS ! Shame on Honda for this cost cutting on their pride and joy that’s been their major bread winner for the last 46 years, enabling it to make not only Car and Drivers annual top 10 best list, but Motor Trend as well. Though, any trim level of the all new accord is a beautiful automobile; there’s no denying the superb engineering genius that Honda has always infused into the Honda Accord. Not to mention a 17 cubic foot trunk, as well as a cavernous interior with nearly 41 inches of rear leg room. No matter the engine preference, whether it be the 1.5 turbo or the amazing new 2.0 hybrid motor, you’re still getting great gas mileage and great performance from either engine. However, my preference is the 2.0 hybrid engine; no denying that EPA rating of 46-51 mpg city, 41 to 44 mpg highway rating , all the while making 204 horsepower and 247 lb Ft of instantaneous torque provided by the electric motors from 0 rpm to 3000 rpm. That’s good for 0-60mph in 6.4 seconds; impressive. Not to mention it’s near sports car handling of 0.89 g-force around the bends, with levels of luxury refinement in the ride, and the hush hush quiet interior. In conclusion, nothing drives, nor can ever be what the Honda Accord is, and thats an unparalleled balance of everything to all consumers who buy the Accord, and continue to be because of these reasons. The Honda Accord truly is an engineering marvel ! Enjoy your car. I can’t wait until I can get one too.
Terrible taste. The previous gen was the last great accord.
This is too bloated
My guess the flat black by the headlights likely reduces unintended glare reflections.
Nice video keep up the good work Redline
I purchased the Honda Accord Hybrid Sport three weeks (on my birthday) and love it! My family is on the taller side (Norwegian roots) and we can fit in it vs a Toyota Camry.
What can you tell us about the issue with the system download. It say see your dealer. I did and I continue to get a notice that the system did not download.
Thanks for the review. I just got one of these cars yesterday. What is brake torquing and how exactly is it done?
I just purchased the Honda Touring and am in love! I had a 2011 so this is a significant upgrade for me especially with the heated seats which is a nice feature for me. I love the drive and the handling of the vehicle. It is soooo quiet that I thought it was not cranked. I like the large monitor screen and the personalization I can do on the dash. The passenger seat is way too low for my husband so we had to purchase a padded seat for passenger side to assist in sitting higher. They indicated it was a heated steering wheel, but this is only in the Canadian models. I have the nice red with a grey interior and it is very nice. I did not want the black interior so we opted for the grey which gives the car a very good contrast. But overall I am very happy with the new vehicle!!
Excellent review!
The Acura TLX is the performance step-up now.
Yep, and extra 10 grand for equivalent performance of a Touring 2.0T.

For the last couple generations of accord never gets my attention on first review but my perceptions always seem to change when I see a nice trim level especially with tinted windows 🤷🏾♂️.but the new accord is really nice
I've had a 3rd, 4th, 5th and 7th generation Accord, including a V6 6-sp coupe, wish I never sold that one. I still drool for the new ones even though my needs are different now
I just saw one of these in white. Distinctive, nice.
I think the 10th generation is better looking, lobster claw tail lights and all. However, I still like the look of this new model. I'm digging the simplicity of the styling. Reminds me of the simple beautiful designs Mazda has atm. This new Accord has a lot of potential but I must say that the lower trims in mundane colors and smaller wheels look awful. This thing in base trim with the 17s in white looks like an unmarked Ford Interceptor Sedan🤮. Lower trims on the 10th generation still look sharp in comparison.

You do fantastic reviews! You're easily the best on RUclips. Hands down.
Las gen looked a lot better and the interior was just as premium.
Really surprised this wasn’t AWD with it being a hybrid. Really would have been a standout feature had they done so, especially considering it has 2 e-motors.
Honda doesn’t need AWD
They make some of the best driving cars in the industry so AWD isn’t needed. The CTR doesn’t have AWD yet it drives better than some AWD cars
@@naveenthemachine To each their own. It rains too often here in Florida with very strong winds not to warrant AWD on a vehicle if you can afford it. It's the front grill area of the car that doesn't get my attention, other than that I like the car. I'm an Accord guy and would still consider the hybrid models. Awesome review 👍🏽
I love the front end grille - the color, the styling, everything. Understated and classy.
I went down to the dealership and saw it, and everybody there said it was ugly ..... made , the last generation go up in value😮
I bought this car about 4 months ago. I have a light foot and consequently get around 45 to 46 mpg. It’s quieter than the 2020 hybrid touring I owned. My wife loves the car as I do, but she is not fond of the passenger seat. At five feet tall she almost needs a booster seat. I personally like the new look, especially the rear end. I didn’t really like the lobster claw look. The front end looks good too, but I agree with the reviewer that the plastic on the headlight should have been the same color as the car.
I have never liked white cars. The pearl white on my Touring is an exception. It looks great and doesn’t show the dirt. If I really have one complaint, the lane assist doesn’t work as well as the reviewer’s vehicle, and the tires are noisy. Otherwise I love the 2023 Honda Touring Hybrid.
I can't believe a team of ppl worked on Accord's new design 😅
The new Accord is no doubt a fine car to drive.. I've owned 3 of them. However I took a pass on the new Honda as the exterior is bland ( I don't know what the designers were thinking when they made that front end)...and all of that gloss black exterior and interior trim that Honda chose to go with now looks cheap on any vehicle.
the accord has never been a radically styled car. .. . this hate for the exterior is confusing to me. LIke some of people's favorite accords from the 80's and 90s had the same clean basic lines as this car
I disagree totally. You call the exterior bland - I call it classy. The styling is beautiful in my opinion.

Good review. I still have the 18 Touring 2.0T and love the character and power of the 2.0t. Although I’m not happy they discontinued the 2.0t w/10 spd. I’m not surprised they decided to discontinue it especially since only a few people wanted the 2.0t. I feel this seems to be more of a compromise.
Does the 2018 Accord Touring 2.0t have power adjustable passenger seat with height adjustment?
They do have power adjustment passenger seats but no hight adjustment which is only available for the driver’s seat
Honda did a good job with the accord and keeping it safe and efficient. I wish they would have given a panoramic roof to this model and some better leather design in the seats.
This dude break torquing a hybrid is comical. He’s obsessed with speed
Frr
I think that the styling of the new Accord is not that bad, but I still can't believe that Honda dropped the 2.0T engine after just one generation.
Thank goodness I bought the K5 GT-line with the premium package u get way more. But this was a great review.
My guess is a hybrid plus or PHEV is in the works to replace 2.0t. I predict similar for next gen Camry, where the flagship powertrain will be either Prime or hybrid plus. 2.4t might not meet emissions regulations, which is stricter for sedans.
There’s already a PHEV Accord in China. I hope it’s coming by MMC. If it’s somewhat sportier than the hybrid and retains its efficiency, it’ll make this car much more interesting for the Honda enthusiasts.
I love the design ❤
They tried to make the front end like New Acura but ended up making it look like Taurus... Still a nice sleek design and rear design of the vehicle is far better than the previous generation.
Has anyone noticed how Blindspot Monitoring is OPTIONAL on all the higher up trims, including touring trim. Honda has to get it together, 37K and it doesn’t even come standard. 🙄 Do better Honda.
I believe you are mistaken sir. I have the blind spot monitoring on my new Touring. It was standard equipment. Some vehicles were being built without it due to "supply chain issues" and it was omitted and price was reduced for those.
@@stevehoppenjan Just because yours has it doesn’t mean it’s on all. Because of parts shortages , they are selling with and without BSM as separate models just like Honda used to sell with and without Honda Sensing, with and without Navigation etc.

Arteon is going bye bye.

Nobody needs a spare anymore. You can toss a couple in the back seat I suppose.
There's space for a spare, but Honda cheaper out and makes you buy one sep
Which one better? Camry XLE or accord EXL hybrid?
It looks very classy and cool looking Honda Accord.I Love It....
The people that Hate are not the BUYERS of the Accord.
Or think it's ugly. I'd take the 2022 version.
I'd go with the black interior in a heartbeat. Anything lighter shows dirt far more often and is harder to keep clean.
I think this looks better then the previous accord. But the current civic is better looking.
Great video as always! I have a 2013 V6 LX with 240,000 miles. The care still drives perfectly. I don't understand why Honda discontinued its most effective safety feature, which Hyundai has now taken advantage of. I'm referring to the side view camera mounted on the passenger side mirror, which activates when applying the right turn signal. When switching lanes, I literally never have to take my eyes off the road. And no, blind spot indicators are not the same! Sure, they let you know if a car is within 10 yards of your's, but they could be traveling 5 mph faster than you, or 50 mph faster. Hyundai has adapted this feature now for both sides of the vehicle. For this reason, I'll probably go with the Sonata if and when I Accord ever quits.
I find that camera useless in my opinion. BSM is fine but I prefer my old fashioned looking before switching lanes and that’s more effective every time.
mechanically it's just carryover from the last-gen. Recently I went to the dealer to check out the new Accord, the build quality is just okay...only the upper-trims give you rear air vents & charging ports... and dealers put $4k markup on these new accord hybrids
last year i rented a previous-gen accord sport hybrid for a long roadtrip, similar mpg, the interior quality feels better built.
looks great to me
What's the fuel tank capacity?
Great review. First, they axed the 6 speed and now the turbo. The only enthusiast car they have left is $50k Fwd civic. There are still other brands in the market competing in this segment. Brand loyalty can only take them so far. Rip 2.0t
what midsize sedan has a 6 speed manual in this segment? oh yeah, like nobody.
Can you still drive with your eye condition?
I'd love me some "AGGRESSION-molded plastic" at 10:04! 🤣
This might be nitpicking but the back of the front seats are fugly as hell. Does it come in different colored interior choices?
I love the color. I was glad to see the lobster claw/stapler taillights are gone, along with all that chrome on the nose of the car. Glad to see the gear shift on the floor too. I think they did a great job with this update.
I thought by now I’d start to like certain parts of the new accord but it just looks worse especially in certain colors. The interior is great but I just can’t get over the exterior
wait until you see it in person, it's actually worse
I saw one on a back road yday. Was nice and futuristic looking in person vs video
It’s not these companies voluntarily going hybrid or electric it’s the government forcing it. This car looks nice and I like the interior I am not a fan of the screens though but I also don’t like them on any other car.
I can't wait to see what they're gonna do with the 2024 model. I'm crossing my fingers that they offer a panoramic sunroof. I wish the touring had a black headliner as well its only on the sport models
No one uses pano. Another gimmick that compromises the structural integrity of the car
I saw this car in person for the first time in my neighborhood. I think it was the base version and it just looks so bland, not more sleek like in the videos. I think Honda gone backwards in styling, but I'm sure it'll still sell. I simply did like the design enough to not make if a future car purchase consideration for me.
Yep Taurus vibes for sure
I have no idea what Honda was thinking with the design of this new Accord. Its like someone thought up of an idea to alienate all of the 25 to 38 year old men out there who previously bought this car for its sleek sporty design and speed. I've even heard older men say that this new accord is ugly.
These performance enthusiasts are crying so much due to Honda discontinuing the 2.0T. Accord has always been a family sized sedan and the market for this car are towards families. The hybrid engine is absolutely perfect as it gives a good amount of performance while being super fuel efficient which is absolutely perfect for a car like this.
Based on what Toyota has been doing lately, the next Camry will spoil the party for the Accord. Honda needs high performance options and PHEVs.
It won’t 😂. Toyota cannot compete with Honda. Hondas on another level of quality that Toyota can’t approach
Certainly hoping it looks better than this thing, it would be hard for it to look worst
I have a 2.0T which Im certainly not trading in for this new gen
@naveenthemachine I've never seen someone with such a vendetta towards a brand that they know so little about. Good for you for being so dedicated man.
Reason I bought the last year with V6 sport touring bad ass car and my civic 2013 has over 100k no problems yet on either car and Hondas know to take care of recalls and keep there word on warranty
You think hondata will make a tuner for the hybrid?
If any sort of significant torque is requested, the engine is a generator.
The new design looks nice. I have a 2017 Touring and I think this one looks far better than the generation in between. But it’s just not an exciting design. What gets me is that Accord is more advanced and better equipped than the Acura TLX now, until there is a key 24 refresh coming to correct that.
Nor sure why ‘more aggressive’ is used almost synonymously with better looking, or why a 'less aggressive’ front styling is seen a a step backwards?
Honda should make an Accord Liftback or Accord Wagon, with the same low center of mass. It would be as practical as a CRV, but with better handling and fuel efficiency. The reason the Crosstour flopped is because it had a higher center of mass.
I saw one in person with black wheels. Look good tho
Sport Hybrid L
This is a huge car, but I like the design of the previous one because it represents its Honda sporty roots but this looks little plain.
What the hell sporty roots are you referring to? Got me stumped.
Simple fix, add an areo kit. Looks much better
I drove this one last week, I loved it more than I thought I would. My daily driver is a 2018 LX which I adore, but the new one is obviously more equipped and is more refined. I absolutely loved it. But the price is a little too much, tbh.
