We need to appreciate how Harrison Ford goes into the category of "being" Han Solo just like Robert Downey Jr. IS Tony Stark and Ryan Reynolds IS Wade Wilson/Deadpool.
yup theyre all perfect for the roles they cast
Well Harrison is also Indiana Jones, more even so, because Ford likes playing Indy better, I personally prefer Harrison as Indy, because he's the main character, and the amazing actor that Harrison is comes to life in Indiana Jones, just perfectly.
+BarcaX Playz ahahaha I get it
+T-Bone I completely agree
No we don't kid...:)
It honestly makes much more sense that Han shot first. What kind of bounty hunter would miss his shot at that close a range without having his guts fried the moment he pulls the trigger.
Jacob Glaze
Yeah...Greedo Lucas!
Rest in peace, sweet prince.
Here one more: Some of his lines in Episode IV during the Death Star prison scene on the intercom were improvised. Also his "I know" to Leia in Episode V wasn't scripted either.
JustinEvitable80 everyone knows about them...
erosion271
I'm sure many do, but some don't.
erosion271 I didnt know about them :)
JustinEvitable80 We know!
Wait seriously!?!?!
Ok... The Indiana Jones/Star Wars/Bigfoot story is actually kinda cool!
Yeah, I gotta find that comic!
Pj Perez Well,it shouldn't be hard, the gave you the number and series.
*****
No way! Wich one? (if you could give me the number and the year to it would be great)
Lenzy Williams Yeah it is!
*****
Thanks Henry.
Who out of these characters shot first?
A: Han Solo
B: Greedo
C: Luke Skywalker
D: Obi-Wan Kenobi
I await your answers.
Obi Wan in episode 3. (general Greivous)
Tristan Sighe X-actl-E
Tristan Sighe I was going to say that xD
Tristan Sighe grievous was one of my favorite characters in all of star wars kind of sad they killed him off quickly, and by a pistol
I hear that! Would have been nice to see him last to the end of the movie and have a fight with evil Anakin or something?...
Did they REALLY say "Unfortunately" Han didn't get shown as a kid getting raised by Chewey? Unfortunately?? Like....that would have made sense or been cool in the least? Does George Lucas realize that space is like, you know, huge? People don't all know each other. I hope these guys were being sarcastic.
+Big R Not to mention that they Met when Han was an Imp and got so appaled by how the wook was treated he deided to abandon the nutbags and freed/saved chewie...and THAT is how their long friendship started
+Big R Not to mention that they met when Han was an Imp and got so appaled by how the wook was treated he decided to abandon the nutbags and freed/saved chewie...and THAT is how their long friendship started
+Big R Read the Han Solo Trilogy.
+Thomas Erlandsen that's in the eu and that not Canon now
Not canon to Disney. Still Canon to some fans.
I got #10 for everyone to read. There was a scene shot but never fully done where Han is sitting at the table with a human woman sitting by him or on his lap and Ben Kenobi with Luke, walks over to talk to Solo. Han tells the girl to take off so he can talk "business" with these people. She gets up, Han does to and she walks away. Hen then says to Ben that he hasn't seen a weapon like that, (meaning the Light Saber) in years/from way back when Han was a kid. Then Solo moves past Ben to sit down. This scene is right before Han says his own name and tells Ben & Luke he is the Captain of The Falcon.
In the original Star wars, not only did Han shoot first, Han was the only one that shot.
Untrue
Yeah!
It was just Lucas trying to make his original Star Wars a far more family friendly universe. It makes Han Solo out to be less of a bad guy, if he shoots in self defense. Screw that, Solo was eliminating the trash and moving on.
Henry Davis How is that untrue? Look at Han's neck when he dodges Greedo's shot. You can tell it's not natural.
Personally I think it was just to establish Han as a bad ass but that's just my thinking
And Bounty Hunters as poor shooters?
It's official, star wars exists in the same universe as Indiana Jones. Now all I want is a crossover with them both ALIVE.
+Booker DeWitt Well, seeing as that was EU and EU no longer counts as cannon. They probs ain't in the same universe anymore
+Glory Patriot I came to this reality through a tear.
+hoferlg The universe is technically the same. Well, at least the same as ours, supposedly. But it takes place a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.
+Mike Dragon I somehow forgot that. you are right
+Booker DeWitt I WANT IT SOOOOOOOOO BAD!
10. He got...
he got ki...
he got kicked by his dad as a child
***** yes
+Zac Foelster you guys saw that flashback too
Yeah...
Half_Finis SHUSH
+Zac Foelster I know... I hated when he got ki...
kicked by his son as a child before him as his father when he was dead as Indiana Jones at 99 years old
'I don't know and I don't care' just shows you how much they really (don't) for the fans or the character .
it was confirmed that Han shot first in the original script.
Little Annie, little Boba, and..... little Greedo.
+itai alter it's not clear if that character from episode 1 is in fact greedo or just happens to be the same species.
+mstrofthunvrse it's Greedo. there's a deleted scene available on RUclips that confirms it
ani* his name isnt anniekin, wtf
javier Cervantes
no annie is correct because ani would be prononced "a-knee". not "an-ee". because if you think about it the "a" sound in anakin changes to an "e" sound when they call him "annie". it's kinda how robert vs. robby. the dudes full name is robert, which has absolutely no y anywhere in it. but people call him robby for short and so a y gets thrown in there.
That's W. Wald, not Greedo.
I came to this comment section to cry my eyes out...
I know😢
+Mr. Fedora same here
😢
+127Kronos lol or say "Ben, I am your father and you will listen to me, now GO TO YOUR ROOM!" (No reference intended)
Yup thats wat I was trying to say
The reason it's ridiculous to have greedo shoot 1st is this; greedo was a seasoned bounty hunter, he was 2 feet away from han. If greedo shot 1st, it would be stupid to think he would miss. It wouldn't make sense. It fits han's rogue like gun slinging "space cowboy" personality to shoot 1st.
Air Thief36 Yeah, that's the worst offender.
Forget the "morality" of shooting first, how could Greedo miss?
Air Thief36 - Greedo was actually not as good as he thought he was. Han was pretty much a surgeon with that blaster.
***** It's called "point-blank" range for a reason. You can't really miss at that distanse. If Greedo can't make that kind of shot he couldn't make a living as a bounty hunter, unless this was his very first job. However, his conversation with Han leaves very clear that this is NOT his first rodeo.
I love the movies, but this just doesn't make any sense. A change that was completely unnecesary and ruined a great scene
Gamer Garm And what about the morality? Greedo was just a bounty hunter, who intended to shoot Han for the money, so it doesn't really matter that Solo shot first, he only saved his own life.
I don't get what made Lucas change the scene.
Air Thief36 In addition to the whole logistics of the situation... from a story telling point of view it was so much better when Han just blasted Greedo. Han went on a whole journey where he started as a cynical pirate but, through his time with Luke, Obi-Wan and Leia, grew to view the universe differently and learned to care.
Changing this to claim that Han was always a misunderstood "good guy" just ruins the journey that made the character so relatable and so... kick arse.
I don't know why people get so upset when franchises disregard expanded universes. It's literally stories other people just plain made up about the universe. If I draw a picture of the Millennium Falcon flying above dinosaurs on Earth, and just say this happened in the Star Wars universe, does that make it part of the story? No. You can't make fan fiction and claim it to be part of the same story. Only the owners of the content can add to the official universe, or grant authenticity to writers saying that it is part of it.
tskwared667 Millenium falcon vs dinosaurs; that will probably be chucked in to JJ plagiarabrams Star wars Vll; Revenge of the merchandisers
The fault lies in Lucas passively endorsing several stories that made everyone start embracing these fanfictions as fact. I guess he meant well at the time but it ended up spoiling the fandom later on.
whoaa the indiana jones/sasquatch one totally blew my mind
The reason why I think Han shot first: I have the 1995 video release of the Original Trilogy, Greedo doesn't shoot at all. In a script that was recovered in a Canadian library a few months ago, it says that Han shoots Greedo and Greedo doesn't shoot at all.
To all you kids that are confused, the version of Star Wars that you've been watching your entire lives isn't the original. The 1995 release does have changes. It is remastered and the opening text scroll was changed to accommodate for the (then only conceptualized) Prequel Trilogy. That's pretty much it.
+IgnemFeram01 Saw it twice in the theater when it was originally released. Han gunned him down like a boss.
Han rescued Chewey from the Empire on his home planet. THAT story and a few more of a younger Han before IV would be great to see in a spin off movie.
I hope Han doesn't have a big part in the new movie. Harrison Ford has just turned into a grumbling old man, who doesn't give a shit anymore.
It seems it is going to be decades later, with the new Jedi Academy... Han's children with Leia... and maybe we'll see how one of them falls into the Dark Side... so he could have an important role... like Luke's wife the Imperial Assasin Mara Jade...
Han Solo is actually a central character to the plot this time around. So he'll be playing a very big part in the upcoming episode VII.
Surely not giving a shit is exactly what he needs to play an old han solo. I imagine him being more grumpy, more sarcastic and just in general a lot more han solo-y
You can say whatever you want about how bad the movie was, but Harrison ford was amazing in it.
A lot of his supposed 'grumpiness' is put on and he has a great sense of humour
I guess I better throw out my, "Han shot 1st," T-shirt
I think you should have done that around middle school brolo haha
I don't care what Lucas says, the whole idea of Greedo shooting first makes no fucking sense. They're at point blank range and it's way too quick for it to count as Han responding in self-defense. Even if Han shooting first wasn't Lucas' intention, it was most certainly a happy accident at the very least.
It's a movie bro I don't think by any end was it meant to get anyone so upset it's cool bring relax it's entertainment. If you get upset it defeats the point. I think being so upset over a film is kinda.... Insane
Timothy Danner I'm not upset, I just think it's stupid, the original release was fine the way it was.
Yeah I'm 22 star wars is a bit before my time so I don't have that nostalgia you have so I guess I can empathize
Han did not shoot first. That would presume there was a second shot. There was no second shot. Han shot Greedo without Greedo getting a shot off.
exactly what a character like Solo would have done, or anyone for that matter, knowing that Greedo probably has a gun pointing at him. A lot has been said about this, especially from Lucas. I guess its the 'morally right thing to do' speech, but seriously, anyone caught in that situ would want to shoot first.
StuckInnerRut
Lucas is full of shit. There would be no point whatsoever in drawing his blaster covertly under the table if he intended to then wait like a gentleman and see if Greedo would shoot.
"I've been looking forward to this."
"Yes, I bet you have."
Boom. Its to do with timing a scene. If you watch the original you'll notice Solo shoots first. He's such a scoundrel.
Han shot first. Greedo made it obvious that he was about to shoot Solo ("I've been waiting for this for a long time") so Han redecorated the cantina wall in Greedo Green.
Also, Solo was a drug smuggler (spice is a drug - its not Paprika).
FurryAminal This is exactly correct. Han Solo wasn't a "good guy." He was a bad guy who was hired to do good things. His character voyage went from Han Solo being a mercenary and stick-for-nought to a man with principles.
I could of sworn seeing in a documentary that Harrison Ford never auditioned for Han Solo. They were auditioning Mark Hamill for the part of Luke and Harisson Ford just so happened to be there on the day and they needed someone to read out Han's lines. Lucas found the chemistry in between Mark and Harrison to be absolutely perfect and that's how Ford ended up getting the role.
Lucas didn't want to hire any star actors for Star Wars. Harisson was already famous for Bladerunner, but in the end, he just had to get him after seeing the audition.
I watched a documentary just 2 days ago... it went that Ford was working as a carpenter on the set and they took him to read the han solo scripts for the actors, just randomly, and eventually lucas noticed that ford is perfect solo...
Yes, Blade Runner came out 5 years after A New Hope
Lucas worked with Harisson before and didnt want him in the film but he wanted someone with his style of acting, so he brought Harisson in to give advice to the actors on how this character would act. atleast thats what i remember based off documentaries a long time ago
LINKTheReaper
and he was reading the counter parts for the actors of luke etc. in their auditioning.
yea go watch the tapes of them auditioning, its freaken crazy how different all the characters could have been if they picked someone other than the originals actors
i got a secret, han solo is han solo
I've got a real killer. Han Solo is really the great-great-great-great-great grandfather of Indiana Jones¡ They look so much alike they have to be related¡
Kawela Borreta I sincerely hope you're not being serious.
XblackopsX100 I sincerely hope that I wasn't talking to you.
Kawela Borreta Are you the real life Sheldon?
Gonzo Editz it's called sarcasm. And no but I do watch the show.
the last fact was so great!
Lucas donated billions to charity... What have you done with your lives? Lol
Greg Miller (on an episode of Up at Noon): "George Lucas recently stated in an interview that in the famous Cantina scene from A New Hope, Han never actually shot first. So that's why the prequels suck so bad, George Lucas has never seen Star Wars!"
i hope the movie about young Han brings the whole "being in the Imperial Navy" stuff into the actual canon.
well
Geek fact correction: Lucas wouldn't let Ford audition, as he had already been in American Graffiti and didn't want to use any known or previously utilized actors. But Harrison was allowed to help read the actors coming in to audition for the various parts in Star Wars. Eventually Lucas saw that Ford was the perfect man for the part and cast him. *see the Star Wars making of doc in the DVD/blue day trilogy set....very detailed and pure awesome.*
Heather Dale Heather Dale
In fact, one of the co-producers (IIRC, not 100% sure what job the other
fellow held in production) shoed Harrison in the door, convincing
George to let him read off to the other actors. He wanted Ford in, tho
Lucas initially did not. SW w/Bill Katt and Perry King. . . Would not have been the same.
Harrison was doing carpenter work for the film initially wasn't he?
Alex Banks
I think he fixed Lucas's door. Might be misremembering that tho. He definitely was doing carpentry in general.
Alex Banks Yea he wasn't on the set to audition. He was asked to fill an empty audition slot for the character
I'm surprised no one came here to spoil the movie
Ppl who want to spoil go somewhere else that is not expected for others....
+Carlos Guijón Exactly. I know that you speak the truth because I fell victim to these low lives.
He is killed by his son
at this point, anyone who cares about spoilers should stay off the internet for a while.
+TheHeroesArmy /Heroscape2 (#THA) I think that there is no such thing as spoilers for example did anybody know darth Vader was going to be Luke's dad when empire strikes back
Another thing you probably didn't know was that Harrison Ford (Han Solo) was originally a carpenter on the set for Star Wars A New Hope and got his debut for reading the script perfectly when they were still casting for the part of Han Solo. - Information from the George Lucas Interview from the Original boxed set of the Star Wars Trilogy on VHS.
Joseph Gosselin ... so... harrison ford built the millennium falcon... mind blown.
Joseph Gosselin The only reason I do know this is thanks to my star wars fanatic father! :D Although I do find it funny that technically Harrison built his own ship...even at the time he didn't know he was.
The last one was so dumb... I LOVE IT
Y'know why JJ rebooted and reimagined Star Trek? Because the earlier movies were becoming stagnant, and the franchise could only appeal to die-hard fans. For a franchise to live on, you need new fans. And so if you're disappointed that the EU is now non-canonical to the Star Wars movies, all you gotta do is look at Star Trek. I've read some of the EU, but I don't know it all and I (and a lot of other people, I'm sure) could really care less about some missing piece of continuity from some obscure EU book from among dozens of EU books. If you want to say that I'm not a "real Star Wars fan", that's fine. But I was there in 1977 to see the original movie up on the big screen, and I've been there for each and every Star Wars movie since then.
You may be right, but I thought Lucas completely lost his way with the second trilogy. The first was lightweight and fun. It seemed to me that he tried to get "deep" with the second trilogy and only succeeded in getting turgid and ponderous. He lost his sense of excitement, fun and timing. Absolutely hated the second trilogy and they left me discouraged enough to not want to see any future movies.
I think the spinoffs worked with Star Trek because they hang on with a death grip to the series' original characters -- no sequels or prequels; for the most part they were entirely new characters in new settings.
I don't so much care that the EU is not part of the 'official" canon anymore, because a lot of those books were amazing stories and I'll continue to read them. It's not that I don't consider you a "real" Star Wars fan, because you are, I just feel you are missing some fantastic stories.
Mona Irwin you know I have seen hundreds of people like you who hate the second trilogy and your probably from the generation that grew up with the original star wars trilogy, correct? From a certain standpoint, I can see your point, because of jar jar, and, well, that's my only problem with it, but I know what you mean. Well I'm 17 and I grew up watching the original trilogy, and it wasn't until after that I saw the new movies. I loved all of them. I think the prequels are directed more towards the newer generations. I am a big fan of all star wars. eps. 1-6, the clone wars, (2003-2005) and (2008-2014).
***** As to your question "What was it like seeing Star Wars in 1977": I was 5 0r 6 years old. I can't begin to tell you (but I will try) the excitement in a 6 year old, watching that for the first time!
Never before in human history, and maybe, never again, will you see this ; At the end, after the Rebel Ceremony, and the Last Roar from Chewie, As the credits start; The crowd roars with a standing Ovation!
Han Solo is reputably also one of if not THE fastest shots in the galaxy with a blaster pistol. It was one of his special perks. Its comparable to Billy the Kid in the old west. This is apparent in Empire Strikes Back when he draws and fires on Vader. Most people would have been choked or had the gun taken from them with force power BEFORE firing, but as you can see Han still gets off a few shots! - Lore I learned in the 90s :P
I wouldn't actaully mind Han Solo dying on planet earth.
Thank you for leaving little Han out of the prequels!
Chas Gregg Lucas would added Solo in the ROTS Special Edition.
Wow. Lucas actually tried to shove Han Solo into the prequels too? Amazing.
He actually tried to shove just about every concept and creation he possibly could from the originals into that bloated steaming pile of garbage.
Simply unbelievable.
Baby Han Solo would have veen so stupid
Dialectical Monist Yeah I don't think we needed more kids either.
Brad Edwards vyy8it58olpolrldodo2e3rr34gggvvvvvvcvvvvvvv00000000000oooooooooo
Oliu
DDDERRFVRRR DFNBJUJUU7
Dialectical Monist I don't like the originals as much :)
+Andrew L well..many 4 year olds don't
Only knew 6 & 7 but 9 was very well thought out. Cool stuff. Do more of these!!
The fact about Han once being in the imperial army was mention in episode IV. When they are dressed as troopers Luke complains about not being able to see through the trooper helmet and Han doesn't complain at all.
I see that "Utapau" and "Knights of the Sith" are mentioned in the first script for Star Wars
So they don't have any facts that we 'probably' don't know about Princess Leia? Come on people! Leia's a great character! I would like to know how she developed!
+Juonithz Ramos Like this: Lucas' straight friends told him he had to have a girl in the movie.
Jade Prout I can't tell if you're joking...
+Juonithz Ramos she is lukes sister there a fact born an adreen
+Jade Prout even in ep 6 she is in the mythic awesome gold bikini...
+Juonithz Ramos Well if we watch Return of the Jedi... we can all see that she developed quite well. lol, jk.. it would be neat to see one of these vids on her.
Love the closing tagline. Nice!
I always loved Han Solo and very cool facts about the dude!
his most famous line 'I know' was on the spot improve he was ment to say i love you too
The last one... Harrison Ford met Harrison Ford, this is so...... mfosafjsafwejfnai
Num 9 totally caught me off guard lol that was awesome
Watched the Luke Skywalker episode, which was great. Didn't think I needed to watch the Han Solo version, but I am SO glad I did. It was great!!
Harrison Ford was the janitor at the studio and was asked to help read lines then was offered the part because of his talent.
jessica noga I think he was some sort of carpenter, not a janitor
I never knew the expanded universe wasn't canon. Damn. So many cool characters and stories down the fuckin toilet :(
Well, it was canon, until Disney flushed it. They are now replacing it with some ill-thought-through history that two screenwriters in a backroom came up with over a couple of months. Which would I rather prefer? ExU all the way.
AmazingHatOfDreams Lucas arts nixed it before the merger, i think it was either a big EFF U to Disney or a Heres a clean Slate for ya move. Either way, Disney didnt do it.
AmazingHatOfDreams Incorrect. It was always a separate canon. One that Lucas likely flushed w/his own stories for 7 - 9 that he'd had in mind from the beginning (when he first broke up the one movie into three trilogies, as it was too big for one film), and roughed out to hand to Disney. Almost amusingly (or perhaps ominously) Disney (probably JJ) nixed those, too, to make 100% new scripts.
Han shooting first didn't make him dark, or a bad guy, just a savy survivor. Greedo's dialogue declares his intention to murder Solo right there. Han shooting before he can get the shot off is the equalivent to the old west gun fighter who draws first. And as someone else mentioned earlier, aiming his gun under the table shows that he was ready to shoot regardless.
Great vid
I wish Harrison Ford gave a shit about being Han Solo. There is another video online showing clips and talking about how Ford loved being Han in a New Hope and Empire Strikes Back presenting video clips of his excitement and happiness before, during, and after the films were released but when Return of the Jedi came out he refused to even talk about it and ever since has hated have played the role.
+Gungriffen And Original Obi-Wan was a complete asshat... who more or less spat in any fan's face if they approached him.. We care about the characters... not the people who get paid millions to play them
If Harrison Ford didn't give a shit about playing Han, then he would not come back for episode 7.
Holden Nuttall Well... not coming back would be carreer suicide... people'd be way to pissed. He knows that
+Holden Nuttall he's coming back... rumor mill is stating that he's not staying. :( I will loos it if its true! But if he does... he better go out in a blaze of glory!
If Harrison Ford gave a shit he wouldn't be the right guy to be Han Solo. Alec Guinness also didn't give a shit about being Obi wan Kenobi. You don't have to live a part to be the part. These people are what are known as "actors". They leave the shit-giving to the audiences.
Last one is kind of a mindfuck lol.
The last fact was just pure awesome haha
Ford didn't exactly audition for the role. He was working as a carpenter at the time, building stuff for Lucas. He was given a supporting role in American Graffiti. Later, Lucas hired him to read some lines to auditioning actors because he had a good voice. Spielberg heard the recording and convinced Lucas to give him the role of Han.
#10 Han solo actually did the Kessel run in 13 Parsec's not "less than 12" because he had to stop along the way to take a dump.
Even he gets "boarded" at times with rather rancid desert world cuisine...
How exactly can you run anything in a matter of parsecs? I ran a marathon in less than 3 miles! Doesn't make much sense now does it. ;)
Rebecca98463 Because the distance between two places can be made shorter or longer. The Kessel run was a route between two places. He found shorter distance between the two places.
Adam VanDusen No it's because the movie made the mistake of thinking parsec was a measurement of time instead of distance.
Rebecca98463 I found this Wiki useful. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parsec
HOW THE HELL DO YOU DIE BY TAKING AN ARROW TO THE ARM!?
theyoungbricks THAT'S STILL ENOUGH TIME TO GET FIRST AID KIT IN THE SHIP!
***** Read the comic and find out then? Looked more like he got shot in the chest.
Rexyn Kinda late.
***** Better late then never :p
Used to be in adventure like you then I took an arrow to the knee
When I was 7 years old I called number six. I didnt even know he was a stormtrooper back then, but I did say that I thought han saved chewie from the empire to make them best friends
good vid dude

Stop ruining it for everyone.
Dude don't be a douche!
Oh come on, grow up
As in to the person who said the comment
*clap* *clap* *clap* greeeeeaaat job
That last one was awesome just think if that is what really had happend
+Pyro Its one of the dumbest EU stories every imo
ok lol
tru
PYROOOOOO! Oh geez
yeah l9l
number 9 explains everything!
Han always shot first in my mind! Great vid thanks!
it doesn't make sense han being raised by chewy, csuse he seems like the leader out of the 2
Chewbaca is Bigfoot mind blown
Cool list
"I don't know and I don't care" is such a Han Solo response.
#9 is pretty cool. So what dark horse comics did is they pretty much did a story where stars wars time is before our present time. Because Indiana Jones franchise is based around early 1920's to early 1960's. And if they found the remains of han, it must of been around that time, around the mid 1900's. So thats a pretty cool thing that dark horse comics did but han dieing, no just why? Seriously.
So when they crashed, they crashed around indian and pilgrims time. So that means that humans were around alot longer but the humans on earth didnt get involved with any aliens and didnt come up with advanced technology like the other humans out there in the galaxy. Well thats just an theory.
***** well I never knew that.
Kawela Borreta Lol, did you ever see the opening to every Star Wars movie ever?
Sean Stanley no I didnt bitch ass nigga
Sean Stanley I did but even after, han solo had plenty of stories after the movies
What did luke say when han solo touched her sister? DON'T LEIA HAND ON HER!!
hahahahahaha
Don't Leia *Han on her
FUNNYYYYYYYYY JOKE
+Lil Kim ok :(
+Lil Kim. wow thats harsh over a joke with a name like lil kim and that north Korean oompa loompa avatar i must say in his defense first b4 him take a bath with a plugged in toaster bteakfast in bath its the new in thing buddy
The reason I think we love Han Solo is because he represents how most of us actually feel, we have a good heart but reality has forced us to be something else.
Aw man lil Han would have been so cute! Especially from that concept art
That last one about Indiana Jones was just stupid. And insulting to the fans.
I might be. Why, did you want a date?
+liam kirk lol m8
How was that insulting? It was non cannon.
Can anyone imagine Christopher Walken as Han Solo?
That would have been amazing!
Tahkaullus01 "Chewy, TAKE this DROID and plug him INTO the hyperrrrrrrDRIVE"
+Tahkaullus01 Nah... I like Walken, but if I had to pick someone other than Ford, I'd go Russel... but Ford was the best choie if you ask me
+Jonny Cyanide LOL!
+Jonny Cyanide "Chewy, take this drooooyd and plug em inta haipah-droyve."
+Opus 32 HA!..lol
Very good
#9 is so cool and creative, lol.
Still he's the hottest movie character EVERR!
What do you mean 'unfortunately' dropped?
Love the last one!!!
+BrickBuilder11 Its not the last there making to more after!!!
That's cool made our force be with you😊👍🌌
Christopher walken could have worked...
*****
True, that's exactly my take on this to. But I think Walken would have portrait a bounty hunter... Ford was just being Ford, not a very convincing rough neck with not regrets etc...
Smuggler... Right. My bad.
Han Walken: "Hey woaaaaahoah, listen 'ere.... little droiiid..... we ain't gonna go, get no, princess."
***** Walken is awesome. He's just not Han. He could have played Fett, tho . . . Even w/o a mask. Woulda worked. ;) "Hey! Have ya ever noticed. . I kinda seem to have . . ." (smiles widely and almost laughs) "gone to acting school with, you know, doze gah-yeez* . ." (*those guys) ". . Shatner and, ah. . Carradine." (Shakes head and then stares knowingly w/an intense honesty and interest) "Line delivery pacing's. . almost the same." (cuts hand horizontally in front of him for emphasis, then bobbles head and raises shoulders in a "hey whadaya know" sort of shrug, while widening his eyes and raising his eyebrows in mock surprise at the unlikeliness of it all)"
*****
But. . that. . LOOK.
Vader: "NO disintigrations!"
Walken Fett: (stares, w/a bored look) "As you wish."
Admittedly, the mask, and that viscous voice, made Fett work, along w/minimal dialogue and screen time. That and the way he always cradled his gun.
Wow, what is the life span of Wookies?
... wait a sec, if Chewbaaca is the reason for all the Bigfoot sightings, why are their sometimes multiple sightings? was Chewbaaca pregnant,or do they multiply when they get wet, like the gremlins?
Wookiee Nookie!
He managed to repair the Falcon's radio and asked his wife to come live with him on Earth.
I think it's like 400 or 500 years.
over 400 standard galactic years, according to wookieepedia
Von Mor Wow! 1 galactic year is from about the beginning of the jurassic period to now.
.. I had no idea Wookies had such a life span.... makes Yodas life span seem like a gnats in comparison xD
According to an official star wars documentary Harrison Ford did not audition for the movie. George Lucas used him as a reading partner for other characters in the auditions and he did so well as Han that he ended up with role
I've kicked around the idea of a story of backpackers in the Pacific NW who discover the wreckage of the Millennium Falcon along with the skeletons of Han, Chewbaca, Luke, and Leia along with C-3PO and R2-D2. The US government eventually learns of this and attempts to retrieve the wreckage, skeletons, and droids for research.
sigh, lucas and his shit.. i got the old trilogy on vhs and han shot first of course.
did u make the mobie no you didn't George lucas did and he knows what happened better than you
He's circumcised.
According to Adam Sandler's Chanukah Song. Yes, he is Jewish.
OMG! Mind Blown!
the line before han gets frozen was supposed to be I love you too, but Harrison Ford improvised the I know because he thought it was more like the character
He is dead :(
I shot first
That last one was 'mind blow' xD
This is pretty funny ;)
Nice video ign 10/10
He does come back for episode 7, but he goes, too. You'll see when you watch the movie. DUN DUN DUN
Harrison Ford was a carpenter on the set and he was never really considered for the role. Lucas knew he could act, due to American Graffiti and asked him to read with the actors being considered for Luke and Leia and he found, by accident, that he fit it so well.
The last one was brilliant
That last one was mindblowing
I've already known about him originally being a reptilian in the concept art, but the bit about him being scheduled to appear in Revenge Of The Sith is indeed news for me.
Thanks
Favorite Character, and Chewbacca too. 💕💕💕
