- Back Helping the community at New Addington Bowls club! We offered to help the club tackle their overgrown hedge.. and got carried away tidying up some other areas. This was a tough one to take on but when you get to the end result it feels so worth it to see the members smiling. Appreciate Members Dave and Ken for coming down helping out, and providing lunch.. lovely people!

@@FlawlessCleaningServices I thought of you today as I watched two guys destroying all the brambles that had gone wild while I went travelling earlier this year. No Kress tools and no jokes worthy of you and Paul, but they did a brilliant job and cleared the lot, trimmed some big shrubs, mended a fence and tomorrow they're coming back to make a new path. I helped take some of the debris away... I was cream crackered! 🤣🤣

Awesome job as always Ben. I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but the last few videos you have looked completely knackered. I know you love helping people, but please don't do so at a cost to your own health. You are taking on some epic projects and unless you're superman, it's to be expected they will take a toll on you. If you need to post less often, I'm sure everyone will understand. Thank-you for what you've done and continue to do. You, your dad and the others that help you are such kind souls. ❤
Ben, as always, superb video mate. However, its good to see you're realising you're taking on a hell of a lot at once. My advice - & its meant from the ❤ - would be to pace yourself, and try to avoid spreading yourself too thin. If that means we have to wait longer for the next vid, then so be it!! We'll just look forward to it that much more. Your selfless attitude and desire to help others is amazing, but as a young Dad, it's important for you to have some quality time with them too while they're still young, and us viewers totally understand that. Anyway, great job as always mate.

I hope the club can get more members to keep it going. The land is valuable real estate and a developer would be dying to get their hands on it. Ben you always look knackered at the end of the day. Do not miss out on your family time. You'll never get that time back. I learnt that, the hard way. My sons are now 41.5 and 40.
I wish I'd spent more time with them.

The moments when Ben was cutting the tops of the hedge showed amazing clouds moving, great shots, especially with the time lapse edits. We'll done. Good work, guys, with the rainy and blustry day.

You have done so much for this club that’s its now up to the members to recruit many more members and take on upkeep themselves
This is truly a service o the community. Many RUclipsrs are working very hard on houses that need to be torn down and it seems like effort wasted. This will produce revenue and give people recreation. Good choice.

"Maintained by the council" is a heartbreaking phrase--because it's obvious the local government is failing badly.

Maintained by the council just means neglected at every possible chance with budget being the excuse
Another excellent refresh, Ben, Paull & team!!! Anything you do to help the community makes a world of positive difference. Can I suggest that the folks who run this space consider making income from the property by renting space for weddings, outdoor meeting space for local businesses and clubs, concert space, BBQ location where people could sing along, dance, hold local flea markets, golf clinics location, dog shows ... They could make a significant income. Thanks for sharing!

I've been president and members of clubs of all sorts over the past 30 years. It's been tough. Especially fighting against neighbors, city/town/councils, social media uproars.. I do sure hope they can get members. If its a sport... well it might just mean you try and get youth interested. maybe throw up a few ads in the area. Get them doing videos on youtube.

Well done gentlemen! Looks great and hopefully encourages the council to maintain their sections too. Wondering if the Bowls Club can rent out booths/tables for farmers markets, arts & craft shows, or swap meets/flea markets to raise funds? The concrete area looks like a great spot for community events and may drive membership. Just a thought.

Seeing you cut the hedge remines me of our old neighbour..He would lay his alloy ladder on the ground like a railway track and he put wheel`s on his step ladder , clamp his hedge trimmer to the top and hay presto a perfect cut every time ...It`s a pity the council cannot maintain there bit ,,,,😂😂😂😂😂😂mmmmm

The Bowls club looks brand new now, with trimmed hedges & pressure washing - it might even looks better than new. Vines & ivy may look pretty but they're hell on mortar. They eat into it & sooner or later the brickwork has to be repointed.

Gardeners extraordinaire. You all made such a difference to the pride the members will have in their club and hopefully encourage more people to join. Bowling clubs can have such an impact on people’s social lives. Especially the elderly and those with less ability to be active.

Wish there was someone as kind as you near me I have always been so proud and loving of my garden....my world....we had to move home 3 and half years ago after spending 11 years getting our garden the way we wanted it but since moving I have been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and can only do minimal things to get it anywhere like I would like it to be....God bless you Ben x

I do like how others have joined in and maybe I will recognize their legs after awhile! Thanks for being such a good neighbor. But family and your own job come first.
Love watching your videos and the jokes give me a good chuckle! I love how green and abundant the plant life is from your warm wet climate as here where I live in Canada we have extreme cold in the winter and extreme dry heat at times in the summer. All in all your climate is supreme for plants. Nothing but admiration for all the great help you unshelfishly give to so many people in need, very inspiring!

I've seen lots of YT adverts & sponsored product usage videos for the Titan resin grout/slab pointing that brushes in dry & sets when sprayed with water. No sand content so doesn't allow weed or moss growth later on or break down. You should reach out & see if they'd donate a couple of buckets to the club
Oh my, that club needs all that area you just cleaned to be pressure washed. It looks great but I'm gosh it would even look better after a bath! :). You guys do amazing work!

I started watching your channel a long time ago just for the power washing, but it's really evolved and not only is it fun to watch the joy you get out of helping people, but I also really just like how you're goofing around with your dad and making silly jokes :)
Just remember that blessings come in all sizes, the big ones are nice, but small ones are too - and also make a big difference for the person who gets the blessing.
You do not have to make *every* blessing bigger 🥰
