Thank you! Discovered you last year when I got back into crocheting! My Grandmother taught me when I was younger and of course, I got away from it. Your videos are the best and have gotten me working on projects. I finished a granny square blanket and I'm finishing this blanket for my cousin's baby Ella, coming at the end of the month! Thank you for such easy to understand instructions! 💐😘
Thanks Mrs. and Mr. BOD! It works up beautifully, love it. My friend in Connecticut saw a pic of it as a baby blanket and immediately requested a scarf in the same pattern. It works up so quickly in three evenings I got a 16”x5’ scarf in the mail to her from sunny Florida. 🙏😘😘
So beautiful! Finally found your tutorial, thank you for showing close up of doing the stitches, I sometimes gave up because I didn’t understand. Now I’m excited to do this project. Don’t want to knit scarves anymore. 😄
I want to make this too. Crystal, you're never going to me rid of me. You're so human.. no pretences with you. You're never condescending or know it all as so many others. Your channel is the BEST. ❣️❣️❣️
I just made this blanket for the baby of my niece that is due in May. I used the same yarn and ribbon color, Q hook, but a bit smaller with 48 starting chains, as my crochet seems to always end up bigger than it's supposed to. I didn't count the rows, but it ended up about 32 x 32 inches. Thank you so much for sharing this pattern with us!!
You say you don’t like making blankets but the 2 blankets I have seen are beautiful 🤩!! You always make gorgeous items and the blanket pattern used above it GORGEOUS!! I will enjoy making this and the pipsqueak blanket!!
I even got my daughter hooked on your station she loves you too and watches it all the time so I put up the word cuz you do have a good station and you do such a good variety of things
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! I just made a baby blanket in a day. ONE DAY! The single stitch with two skeins used in unison just looks so wonderful! Also, I was going to try this with a smaller hook, but I'm so glad that I waited until my Q hook arrived. Thank you very much for a fantastic pattern and tutorial!!
Love it!!! This will be a great way to use up all the baby wool I’ve got in my stash. I really enjoy mixing yarns together and this will be such a quick project. I’ll be able to finish it before I lose interest. I have the attention span of a two year old.
Your teaching is very good Easy to follow. Wish I had the baby colored right now. Its beautiful. I make baby blankets by the granny square design. I've learned to make pom poems to add to blanket.
Hi Crystal. I just recently got back into crocheting (new grandson due at the end of this month). It’s been years since I’ve crocheted so I consider myself a beginner. I’m SO GLAD that I found your channel.🎉 I’ve been a crafter since I was a little girl, many moons ago.😜 Your channel INSTANTLY became my favorite crochet channel. I know this video is old but I’m currently making this blanket. I’m actually finishing it up with the border right now. I will be attempting some of your other projects. Your instructions are so clear and very easy to follow. Plus your voice is very soothing. I will post a picture on your Facebook page when I’m done. Thank you for sharing your talent. It is very much appreciated. Hugs-Kristina 🤗
Crystal that ribbon you shown in the video here is from my home town area. Berwick. I use to work forthat ribbon factory when I was in my early 20' s but it was called Berwick industries back then. It's one of the few big companies we have there for employment.
Thank you for this video. I found it simple and slow enough so that I could follow easily. I wish you could give some hints how to keep the tension equally throughout the entire project, however my gut says practice, practice and more practice.
I can't wait to make this blanket. I have to pick up a size Q hook. I'm so happy you used the yarn I sent you to make such a beautiful gift. Thank you so much for the pattern, it's so lovely!!!
Love this really want to do this for a friends 1st grand baby. I can’t keep the chain straight. I’m having trouble with keeping track of front & back side of chain. Hope this makes sense.
Thank you so much for this baby blanket pattern. I kept coming across beginner and easy and they were anything but. Most of them had multiple chains and skipping stitches. This is so easy! I'm already on row 5 and it's looking beautiful. You definitely have a new subscriber!
I would like to use my self striping acrylic yarn (desert spring) for a throw, using this great, simple pattern. Would this look nice? How many stitches would you suggest.. double strands? 80 year old eyes don’t follow complicated patterns any more but I like the openness of this and the big hook. I don’t care about the stripes at all, just want it to look interesting.
Thanks for sharing !!! This will be my project when i take my trip to Hawaii gotta a baby otw :) due in August i love watching your videos ive made several projects thanks u
Hello Crystal, I've made a baby blanket using the same yarn and in single crochet only I didn't use the Q hook. It turned out pretty, but I think yours is prettier with the larger hook.
What size hook did you use if you don't mind me asking? I don't have a Q and was thinking of trying this with a N but I'm extremely new to this. This will actually be my 1st project that I'm not just playing around practicing. Thanks in advance for your response. 😺
Wow, that’s some hook!! Love the idea of using two strands - the color combo options are endless. Thanks Crystal! ❤
Thank you Miss. Crystal for this blanket! I love it!!! I am making it now!
You are so great at teaching crochet patterns!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
I just made this blanket for the second time with the same yarn! I added a scalloped edge. So glad of this fantastic tutorial!

Thank you for this video. I found it simple and slow enough so that I could follow easily. I wish you could give some hints how to keep the tension equally throughout the entire project, however my gut says practice, practice and more practice.
Thank you... there are no hits for tension, that will come with practice and time 😊
