Did you ever figure out with the armor cap was? I rerolled a lvl 1 druid just because I didn’t take mark of Tyranny for the armor as a bear and I feel like I didn’t need to. I’m pretty sure some fights you can’t ever have enough armor for certain fights like patchwork in naxx or maexnna. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Great video!
With inspiration (priest/shaman buff when they crit a heal) armor cap would be 13,812. Without it is 17,265 (75% damage mitigation). I wouldn’t say mark of tyranny is absolutely essential but it can be a nice boost to armor and worth getting in addition to smoking heart of the mountain which is very nice early on. Rings with armor are also very nice for that reason, or a cloak with heavy armor on it. There are big diminishing returns on armor at the higher values. I don’t think you can hit the hard armor cap without the inspiration/ancestral fortitude buff, but you can get close to the soft cap with good gear. With the gear I had in this video is was right around the soft cap in my midigation set. Armor consumes can help you get there as well

The tank one is “vanilla-feral-tank” under the “classic specs” tab. There are pinned messages in there that may be helpful and also if you ask questions in that channel you should probably get responses from other ferals
Nice video. We have almost the same spec, though I have 1/5 armour and 5/5 extra threat - might change it up a bit. You get 1% crit / 20 agility, so the 22 agility on the blooddrenched gives you 1.1% crit (1.1% dodge also).

Thanks! Natural shapeshifter would definitely be a big boost to my cat dps, I’ve been keeping 5/5 in thick hide to keep my armor up in bear form but maybe I will move some of those points once I get some AQ gear.
Hey man, nice video. There are so many nice pairs of gloves from zg! What do you think about the shadow panther boe trash drop gloves compared to batskin/blood drenched?
Thanks! Batskin is mostly needed for hit (for me) atm. Shadow panther provides better dps and defensive stats, but devilsaur is also a good option to get that 2% hit if you need it and good DPS. Blood drenched seems to be a slightly lower dps than shadow panther but still a good alternative if hit is able to be gotten elsewhere and paired with a good pair of legs.
Hey nice video. Do you have any build or video with Cat dps? Im almost 60 and i want to be 5 dugeon tank and all the rest contest Dps. You think its viable?
You can definitely tank 5 man dungeons as a cat dps spec. As long as you have a few pieces of tank gear you shouldn’t have any problem, especially with a good group!
