In later phases of Vanilla, HoJ gets moved to emperor. So I believe in classic era this will drop off of emperor, but in the fresh release… it still drops off of angerforge

@@johnnyb2909 Yea, I'm honestly surprised people don't do it more often. With the right gear and talents, you can two man a lot of dungeon in the game, even dungeons like diremaul. The bonus is stealthing past everything, too.

Certainly an acceptable alternative, the agility from the mantle is really nice for some crit and dodge. Imo that outweighs that extra stamina. But if you wanted to use the taut shoulder pads I don’t think it really matters all that much

@@bearman372 we suffer magic damage alot, and stamina mitigates both magic and physical damage, agility only mitigates one, with a full stamina equip I feel damage being a lot more manageable, like having a second flask

Gearing is often subjective and needs to be tailored to your raid specifically. You’re certainly right that dodge isn’t going to help at all on magic damage fights, but if you’re confident your healers can keep you up regardless you can introduce more threat based pieces like those shoulders. In general I feel a lot of vanilla tanking comes down to making sure you output enough threat so the dps don’t need to hold back. But during progression or certain fights which hit tanks very hard, being a big HP sponge is very helpful. Also it’s possible you won’t have threat issues even in full midigation gear depending on your raid, so to be honest there are a few spots that you have some decent freedom in gear choices

With inspiration (priest/shaman buff when they crit a heal) armor cap would be 13,812. Without it is 17,265 (75% damage mitigation). I wouldn’t say mark of tyranny is absolutely essential but it can be a nice boost to armor and worth getting in addition to smoking heart of the mountain which is very nice early on. Rings with armor are also very nice for that reason, or a cloak with heavy armor on it. There are big diminishing returns on armor at the higher values. I don’t think you can hit the hard armor cap without the inspiration/ancestral fortitude buff, but you can get close to the soft cap with good gear. With the gear I had in this video is was right around the soft cap in my midigation set. Armor consumes can help you get there as well

I play on Fairbanks, a fairly large server. Just go lucky to have no competition. I also always try to kill any horde I see to discourage them, long run back

bots dont actually look for fishing patches so you know. I know this is 3 years later, but bots tend to fish bay for only the regular catches and thats it.
