Love the vid! love to know thoughts on a few items I liked as a bear 1st time in classic: Warbear Harness (tons of stamina), ST shoulders for the armor, blacksone ring (maura, maybe too offense focused for bear), Rune of the guard captain trinket (again, not so worried about +hit sounds like, makes sense)? Love watching your stream and listening in to all the big brain discussions you have with viewers and other R2R streamers, all of these deep dives into bear and R2R videos are awesome!
Ahh I missed the warbear harness! I think it’s the highest stam chest piece available, I want to equip it when I put on my fire resistance set, but that FR piece from UBRS is so good I don’t think I use it. I was thinking about using the ST Druid quest chest before running dungeons if there isn’t a LW at 60 early on
ST shoulders are a great piece to get indeed. And all minibosses except for one are easily soloable. Could even get a second stealthie to do it together for extra safety. They are a random drop yes but easy to farm and thus very likely to get in a days worth of running ST
I heard that the twilight camp bosses in Silithus will be able to be summoned on release of SoM. This gives access to the Abyssal Leather Shoulders (13 str, 13 agi, 13 sta, +1% hit), which are pretty awesome for a feral druid.
That’s a great option, I think the reason I didn’t put it on the list is cause I probably won’t be in strat undead very often and he’s a rare spawn. Although we might be able to fish for the ID for him?

I was just thinking about what prof im going. Probably herbalism to gather black lotus for my flask and the mats for basic consumes for running dungeons. I want to go enchanting early on though for my smoking heart of the mountain trinket and I don't think very many others want to be enchanting. So I'll be looking for an alchemist to make my mongoose, fortitude, mana/heal pots, defense pots and protection potions. Really excited about the guild profession economy

Sounds like they allow parts of the challenge to be skipped over and if only some of the hardcore base knows about them then that places some at a disadvantage for the fantasy pool?
I think the 2set bonus from Shadowcraft Set is not so good, since apparently armor bonuses like that are not improved by Dire Bear form, so instead of getting 200x(1+3.6) armor, you just get the 200 armor, or you could say it's effectively just ~43 armor worth.
Hey man nice video you got me wanting to start playing classic again leveling druid. Just FYI the +200 from each leather set stacks, so you can get the +400 collective bonus from both rogue and druid 2/8, I recommend wildheart kilt as it’s insane stats plus feels most druidish :)
the rules are the same 1-60, we've never had a post 60 rule set. The only difference is you can run multiple dungeons and trade/group with other 60 hardcore players

I seem to remember Tome of Knowledge being a sweet item for ferals for off-hand (paired with something like Rubidium Hammer) if you can't get the Unyielding Maul early. Now that Unyielding Maul seems to be added in p1 it might not be relevant though
I’m no big brain but I think from a survival standpoint I’d take 50 armor over 100 health from furbolg medicine pouch. I’m a horde Andy didn’t realize this item existed!

@@Graysfordays Sunken Temple .. troll minibosses, Shoulders, random roll as Slaghide gloves ;)

Is use of the cave transport exploit disallowed under hardcore?... can use of the exploit be detected?

i thought that you could only do each dungeon just once in hardcode rule set, are the rules for road to rag on Season of mastery different?
