You absolutely nailed it pal, and I am very impressed with the VDR.... To be fair, those 12 pails are "concentrated pails'... I "Speedpan" a full pan down to half before tossing them in the cons bucket.... It's not just "shovelled" pails... That little jar represents about 3 days worth of "work".... Work being the optimal word because I just love doing it!.... I knew about the picker though since it was in my included snuffer dumpings :) .... Those are rare here for sure... Great job as usual and Merry CHristmas to you, the FGW family and all of your supporters!

I live in Manitoba, Canada, and we only have a couple places to pan. Most of the mining is hard rock. You've inspired me to start looking at northern Ontario, which is only a couple hours drive for me. Hopefully a couple of weeks in June! Thanks for your content!

@bray2012den yes, I've been doing a bit of research on these areas. The biggest hurtle is access. I'm planning to get down some of the old logging roads, creeks, and streams in the spring before the bugs get too nasty. Last year, I spent a few months in Mission and poked about on the Frazier. Happy to be home.

I've always thought about using beaver ponds as the intake supply for a gravity dredge or banker. Sometimes you find them 4' high or even higher. Plenty of drop.👍⛏️

Hi Jason, I really like your videos and I enjoyed my years panning in the creeks finding gold and copper. My prospecting days are over I recently became paralyzed from chest down and I don’t think the wheelchair will go through the woods very good. Your videos got me into panning and looking for gold here in Wisconsin and I really enjoy it. I will still try to do what I can with help from my brother. Keep up the great work. Mind your top knot and keep your powder dry pard.

That entire region, both sides of the lake. Must have had volcanic activity way back when, thermoles and other intrusions. That is why there is so much gold around there. MERRY CHRISTMAS.

We’ve got gold in Alberta, although it is flour gold. I always see highbankers on the North Saskatchewan river and I’ve panned some out on the Athabasca. I don’t get out much and I only have a pan so I’ve got like a few specks of flour gold lol. Hoping next year I can get to more places and get more gold!

Oooo Ontario, that's where I be and we for sure have lot's of gold but it can be hard to find placer due to our unique glacial geology. We do have hard rock gold out the wazoo though ! Looks like those guys are doing quite well as far as Ontario placer goes !

Yes there is sick gold in Ontario. I go up fishing every year to chapleau. east of wawa. I was fishing and my deep diving #8 shad rap got suck in the bottom of a lake in about 8 foot of water, it worked its way out and brought with it a clump of black like clay and it was loaded with gold. I then started looking and pulled a few nice pickers out by some boulders. It's there.

One of these days I'll be headed over the border to the border of quebec and Ontario I have all types of interests in the great north east to west especially bc but the east coast of Canada has many values even alone the Vermont new hampshire and especially Maine border there is incredible nuggets to be found and if enough footwork is put in possible lode source
