Hi maangchi ☺️ I've been watching you since 22 and now I'm 30 and I have 2 kids already. My 4 yr old Daughter loves what I cooked , your recipes helps me so much.. Thank you ♥️
I'm so happy to hear that! Your daughter will always love your cooking, and it's amazing to think she'll cook your recipes when she's older. That's so cool!
everytime Maanghi makes food and enjoys it with a bunch of side dishes, it makes my mouth water. The amount of variety and flavors are wide ranged. Each one of them super healthy to eat. She definitely is inspiration to me to keep on the healthy lifestyle.
We need more Korean restaurants. I’ve made a Korean dinner from your cook book actually, one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. I love that there’s multiple layers and dishes in one meal. Definitely looking forward to making this soup!!!!
Hi, just want to thank you for your videos. I fell in love with Asian cuisine, and there are a lot of recipes that are oversimplified and remade for western countries (and I love those too), but with you, I believe they are as authentic as possible. Also I love your voice and accent, it is so soothing and cute to me.
I didn't know you could make soup from bean sprouts, and the other ingredients are easy. I think I would cook half the kimchi with the sprouts, then chop and add the other half at the end just to warm it and cool the hot soup a little. Sounds so good!
Every time I watch Maangchis videos it warms my heart and makes me so happy!! I enjoy making your recipes ❤️ the Korean mom I never knew I needed the most ❤️❤️❤️
A wonderful recommendation. It is so nutritious and easy. Many people are on strict budgets because California rents have increased and this us a perfect addition to any meal. Thank you.
Thank you for the great video and recipe. I love your channel and constantly cook your recipes. This one is just in time, I wanted to use up my kimchi tomorrow so I will make this soup with it❤
Had to substitute anchovies with dahsi powder/veggie stock. Added tofu and some baby bok choy that were barely holding on. It’s so delicious! I will def be making this once a week this summer.
Pozdrawiam ❤❤z Polski w Nowym Roku 2024r. I życzę nieustannego powodzenia w realizacji kulinarnych pragnień. Miło jest Ciebie podziwiać Maangchi. Dziękuję za wszystkie przepisy kulinarne i cenne wskazówki 🎉❤
I live in Seoul and sometimes I cook at home, I really love watching your videos and practicing to cook! your videos are perfect for following step by step. Thank you!
I saw this way too late, I made soybean sprout soup for dinner, but I put in a bunch of veggies instead. I did make the asparagus side dish you made a video of, it was sooo good. I'll have to try this soup next time!
Hi,good day! Looks so delicious ❤ Recently Korean food caught my stomach and heart. I’ve been cooking with RUclips teachers like you. Thank you so much from Japan.
Happy Easter Maanghi. Your soup looks delectable I wonder as it is many years since I saw you make Bungeoppang: Do you make the croffle? I understand this croissant-waffle hybrid is a big hit in both Korea and Koreatowns across the world. I will confess I am Italian-Spanish ethnicity, I have followed you almost 20 years and loved every minute. Shamefully, only some of my family like Korean BBQ, but my sister and I love it. Cheers & Thanks.
Hehe Maangchi! I was watching your video and noticed sumo oranges behind you, and I am glad you like those oranges, too! They're so sweet and jucy to eat! 😊
Hi Maangchi, i really love your videos. But could you please make a video how do you store your Garlic, Ginger, and the other fresh stuffs that important in Korean Cooking. Thankyou❤
I love this soup! It's one of my favorites! My mother always made it for me when I was sick. Kongnamul is also one of my FAVORITE veggies. Although when I make it I substitute chicken stock for anchovies out of laziness. LoL
Her recipe is really close to the taste that Korean mothers make, so it is really helpful. In this video recipe, garlic, chicken stock, and MSG (Miwon, AJINOMOTO) are used instead of dried anchovies to give a rich taste. It is even more delicious if you add tofu or dried pollack as additional ingredients. I hope the translation goes well so that those who make it themselves can enjoy it even more.
My love affair with Korean food continues. Round and round trying all the different dishes. Never get tired of anything because it's always changing. I feel this in my soul
This sounds so good! I would eat with rice and maybe some shrimp on the side for protein 🤤 Plus more spicy cause I loveeee spicy soups I want to make this tonight now!
I had a soup in a Korean restaurant, it had some shells, zucchini, potato. Really delicious but it got closed and I don't know the name. Could please tell us the recipe? Thanks in advance

I made this for my grandson but put in dried shrimp instead of sardines. He loved it.
This is a very famous soup in korea. If you lived in Korea, you would eat this soup at least once a week.

For vegan/vegetarian, use kelp or dasima (korean word), and small amount of soy sauce and asian radish also works if you want to avoid the anchovies.
Thank you
Всё так красиво, аппетитно и полезно!Спасибо!👍👍👍💖🇺🇿
So making this the next weekend!
Good luck! I made this soup this morning!
Will report back! It looks like a simple enough recipe for someone like me and the ingredients are not too hard to get!@@Maangchi

I might make this one day!
크~~ 시원하다
Glad you are still active!
You can use beef/chicken/veg stock if you not feelin the dried anchovies or can't get it. You can also add korean soybean paste (miso) as well.
Great soup

Hi Maangchi, from Canada! i was craving some dweji gukbap, and realized you don't have a recipe for this! Add this to your list please!

Hey MAANGCHI 😊👋
❤❤❤❤❤❤
You had me at kimchi! 😍💜 I love kimchi everything!
Kimchi yapmayı Kore’de workshopta öğrendim. Sizinle geliştirdim. Brüksel lahanasının da çok güzel kimchisi oluyor. Ispanaktan bile kimchi yaptım.
i've never made this (definitely never used anchovies like this!) but I will have to try to make it.
So delicious and refreshing 😋
Yummy 😋😋
Так рада снова вас увидеть ❤
Sometimes, I like to add some fresh chives and paprika powder for a slightly different kinda interesting dimension :D
Lovely!
I always crave this when I think of home😅
