I have one of these on my Board which I tested last week. I have this Unit hooked up to my System Sensor Rts-2. I like this Duct Detector a lot! Cool video!
So it looks like the detector base inside of the unit is the same type used for the 200 series addressable detectors (Fire Lite SD-355), as well as the FS Addressable detectors from notifier
Similar yes. However the DNR model is the intelligent model of this unit. The DNR housing can be used with any addressable protocol as long as the detector fits on the base.
Looking for a little help with these. I’m just trying to get a better understanding with these things. I have a system sensor d4120 So to test things out I have 24v on 9,10. On 4c a resistor to 3c. 14no connected to 5no I have a green light flash every 5 seconds on the head and board. The thing is the normally open supervisor contacts are never closed even when I put the detector in alarm except for start up. When I do go into alarm the red light is lit and contact 4c and 5no are closed but no changes in the other contacts. I thought it was the board itself and tried another one but I have the same issue. Can you help ? Edit . According to the instructions on status indication listing 3 and 14 only. On startup closed, Maint closed trouble open. Ok so I’m open I should have and amber light but I don’t. I still flash green..

It needs to be wired into a zone or an alarm relay on a panel. Even if you get power and it activates, you need it to trip something
