Great video can’t believe how cheap and effective some clubs are. Golf shouldn’t be so expensive. I think you should try the CB 201 forged irons on Temu they look nice.
Here in the States, I recently bought some clubs from Golfworks at a slightly higher price but of excellent quality. The nice thing about this direct-to-consumer Maltby brand is that you can customize your orders with options on shafts and grips, which you can´t on Temu. It would be good for you to review some of the clubs they offer. I've found that, on balance, the prices at Golfworks are just a bit higher than at Temu, but you can trust their quality and get support if you have any problems. Nevertheless, I appreciate you guys reviewing Temu's offerings. Golf equipment is, for the most part, priced excessively high, and if golf can be made more affordable, more of us can play. Thanks for the excellent video; it was very helpful.
James you always close to a sweet spot of a club and the inexpensive golf club the mid to higher handicappers have lot more problems with cheaper golf clubs.
For someone that travels a lot why are you not taking your heads off leaving them in the covers and putting them in the side compartments.. I thought that was golf 101 sense when travelling.. and stick some towel/clothes at the top with the irons for more protection
I always had trouble hitting my hybrids, a bad slice,... and I finally went back to my Cobra 5 & 7 woods, which I could always really well. Now, for the 70° wedge....since I only carry 12 clubs....I think I am going to order that 70° wedge to add to my bag. My home course has some really deep sand traps that are difficult to get out of....even though my Handicap index is a 3....a higher left wedge would come in handy!
James great content keep it coming. Sometimes the best deals are not online . I wanted a set of cavity backs for when it it gets wet and heavy (muddy). I bought new 5i through sw mdgolf str40 superstrong from a discount golf warehouse. You can get them in stiff or regular and they did the job. I think they are a gb or irish Brand.
I have a set of Full Choice wedges (and grips). I got them about a year ago. They are well priced. They are pretty decent but rip the cover right off the ball. lol. I also have some PGF (not PGM) wedges and a 2 iron on the way. Not going to replace my premium clubs in the bag but I enjoy testing them. Some are pretty decent quality.
Clubs looked and performed better than I expected to be honest 👍🏻 For the balls though not sure I would be spending £28 on those when you can get Srixon Soft feels or TM tour softs for the same or less. Good review guys thx.
I had a cheap 64 deg wedge that you could flop over anything and stop on a dime. You guys where trying to chip it when you should put it forward and rip it. 😂👍
I would go second hand over these, off to my brothers in Spain and want a budget set to take out and leave there. I'm almost finished. Srixon staff bag £47, Tour edge driver £62, PXG gen5 5 wood just £45, Sub 70 699 v2's £225 and the cherry on top today a Wilson infinite Bucktown for £0 thrown in as a sweetener by someone who bought my Scotty Cameron Phantom X 12.5 at my company golf day today. A grand Total of just £379 if my maths is correct. I do want a decent quality 4 hybrid to complete this holiday bag but given the quality in this setup I'd take it over anything you can pick up on Temu. My advice therefore is second hand, try cheeky bids. Be patient, I get many refusals but as shown above some people just want their old stuff gone.
To be fair, the R&D aside from the major brands the actually cost of making a hybrid or iron is less than $10 USD, shaft included, and if we are honest, the tech of golf clubs is not like launching a rocket. I’ve not bought anything golf clubs from Temu, but that’s more my ego than the quality of the club.
James I fully appreciate costs for research and development, but it’s not as if it’s something new each year just a rejig of existing technology, maybe we are being fleeced in the desire to lower our hcaps, only my opinion.
I’ve got a full set of super rat irons muscle back 4 -PW from Temu. 10.5 driver 3 wood 7 wood 9 hybrid Putter all for £500? All super rat and all good quality and perform well And now just ordered a 2 wood £38.00. Can you go wrong for the price and a good bit of fun
I looked at a lot of backpacks before deciding to luxrul their bag. I'm so glad I did. This is a beautiful backpack that looks well made. I bought it for an upcoming trip and am so excited to have it. It only took a few days to get here, so the shipping was fast. I highly recommend it and will buy again. It also makes a great gift.

I bought a clone 9 wood from Diamond Tour Golf (sister company of Sub 70) for $35 +shipping. Looks good, works fine! (Based on a Ping G400)
Thank you for the info, been in the market for a cheap 7 or 9 wood to try out before pulling the trigger on something nicer
I use a 64• wedge, it's great for bunkers and 30-50yd shots, but it needs practice.
Whenever you have Gaz on, I always enjoy the discussions that you two get into....more in depth than with other people on the channel 👍

You can serve soup with that 70* wedge. Oh my! Thats a lot of loft. My bag stops at 58*. ⛳️

Nice that someone tests the Temu jungle for us. screwing the driver head off lowers the travel risk to shaft damage only..
Did you see Gary’s sleight of hand with that pitch repairer? Right in the pocket
I’ll be having that 😂
Please do a review on the golf shoes on Temu! That would be interesting! Great content as usual!
Cool. Looks awesome that wedge. Hybrid is really good for numbers. Temu has some crazy stuff
Gaz is the wrong person testing wedges out of bunkers. 😂 We all remember St. Andrews
That was a fun video James. Hilarious watching Gaz skull one out of the bunker 😅
As a man who loves a bargain I'd love to see you do a review on Golfist balls. £11.99 for a dozen is hard to beat!
I've played the PGM 3 piece golf balls and they are pretty lovely.
Good video looked like you both had a good time with it
Just ordered a rat king driver and a couple of irons
As well as golf bag
Loving everything so far
James you always close to a sweet spot of a club and the inexpensive golf club the mid to higher handicappers have lot more problems with cheaper golf clubs.
🤣🤣🤣 Gary Martin will buy them off you James 😁
Always take the shaft off your woods when traveling!
Enjoyed watching that one James
Love to see you review the golf shoes on Temu they seem so cheap and look good but will they be any good ?

Just spent 299 on a calaway paradigm 3 wood and James is smashing a 60 pound super rat 20 yards further :)
Have your ordered any golf Electronic items simulator like swing caddie? They show a price well below average retail price in the states
I had a cheap 64 deg wedge that you could flop over anything and stop on a dime. You guys where trying to chip it when you should put it forward and rip it. 😂👍
Gaz may have smashed Chris's Range Rover window with that Damien ...
I have super rat 3 and 7 woods, very forgiving and long
Love the way James always goes first in the bunker so Gaz has to do the raking 😂

A good cheap ball is the wilson boost 10 dollars a dozen
70 degree wedge ! Think Chris will be having kittens, he might take a hacksaw to it
Check out the 70 degree wedge “The Golden Boy” been tempted to pick one up
Although the Caiton balls are reasonable value for money, I prefer the Callaway Super soft balls for the same price.
Have you done reviews of range finder’s from Temu?
Ram FX77 look really good very cheap, wouldn’t mind you trying them out
With cheap clubs it’s never usually the head that’s the problem it’s always the shaft
The hybrid looks like an adams
So do you get to throw the clubs away at the end of the season? Is this sort of commercial policy reaching disposable razor class?
What do you do with all them clubs
I have great results with Caiton balls.
The real questions are these better than the strata in amazon?
James I fully appreciate costs for research and development, but it’s not as if it’s something new each year just a rejig of existing technology, maybe we are being fleeced in the desire to lower our hcaps, only my opinion.
Went to buy the range finder that people got for £16 few years back, looked now... £46 damn
I think that it’s awesome that you can hit a 350 yard shot with a 70* wedge. 😂
😂😂 that can go up your nostrils 😂😂😂
The balls packaging said "fun balls (weighted/smaller)" What did that mean ?? Legal ??
I just tried to use the dpj discount and it’s said it’s only for first time users
Durability and grip quality may be not as good in the cheap stuff
I’ve got a full set of super rat irons muscle back 4 -PW from Temu.
10.5 driver
3 wood
7 wood
9 hybrid
Putter all for £500?
All super rat and all good quality and perform well
And now just ordered a 2 wood £38.00.
Can you go wrong for the price and a good bit of fun
Ok just bought the Super rat hybrid £26.52 with the first time user code, can't really seehow I can lose out, unless it doesn't turn up lol
Put a plastic bucket over the heads of your clubs in the travel bad.
My sand is 72 🐈works !
Someone out there makes a 72° wedge.
Dont forget to start a claim and send the stuff back, they will instantly give you back your Money.
You can’t “spread out” a centre of gravity! The clue’s in the name: CENTRE of gravity.
Second lads always 👍👍👍 but some interesting kit about for some people ...Gaz will pop that 70 in his bag 🤣
No left handed clubs. Shame
70 degrees. LOL. that's no good except for shoving very small pizzas in an oven
Not more of "the best"?
Buying anything from Temu is a lottery
Yeah, but you'll NEVER put any of that stuff in the bag! 😁
Pitch mark repairer and club cleaner are straight in there Steve
@@JamesRobinsonGolf 🤣🤣🤣
