    I might've gotten lucky but I use one of those cheap sight pushers. It was the only thing that could get a rear sight to budge on a S&W Shield Plus. Nice video 👍

    Milled slide LCP Max when?

    • @Fury-161
      @Fury-161 9 месяцев назад +1

      I wouldn't mind seeing an LCP max with slightly longer barrel and a rail so you can put a light on it. Something like a 3.25" barrel vs the factory 2.8". It'd be a good bit more powerful too.

    • @Valorius

    This is a really great video! For me though, this makes the gun far too unconcealable. The only reason I carry this is to tuck in a shirt over it (appendix). If I am wearing and untucked shirt (most of the time), it's a micro-compact 9mm with a dot. Will be sticking with my night irons on my LCP, but I greatly appreciate the video because it gave me a lot of context that I couldn't find elsewhere.

    • @Valorius
      @Valorius  3 месяца назад +1

      I am really glad that the video was helpful to you, I do not carry a red dot on my LCP Max either. It does have a set of XS Big Dot sights though and there is a video on that also.
      Those things are phenomenal and I highly recommend them! Thanks for posting

      Try the holosun 507k X2. Has a big Outer Circle that makes picking up the dot super easy.

      @SubUrbanNinja-EDC 9 месяцев назад +2

      @@Valorius yeah. I had the issue of trying to find the dot. The circle would definitely help. Not sure I want to spend the extra. I think I will just go with the TLR6 lazer weapons light.

      @GlockNinja any Circle that will help but the bigger the Outer Circle the better. You can get circled that reticles starting at about 150 bucks. That are of decent quality. The tlr6 is also a very good option

    U got a nice channel Valorius, I subbed. This is new to me, interesting the plate just mounts on dovetail with slip fit and set screw. Do you notice any flex when the optic is mounted? Fellow leftie!

    • @pondacres
      @pondacres 7 месяцев назад +1

      That's really good heads up for the red dot btw, thx. I don't think I'd get it for my max because I want it as small as possible...although u and me both know that thing definitely needs that 12 rd clip at the cost of slightly more height. But I'm eyeing some sort of 9mm micro, id want a red dot like this one on it, with the circle.

    • @Valorius
      @Valorius  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you kind sir. As long as you adjust the set screw it gets nice and tight. For optimal long-term use I would want to get the slide dimpled so that the set screw will set into the slide itself and it will be absolutely Rock solid.

    • @Valorius
      @Valorius  7 месяцев назад +2

      I personally have XS Big Dot sights on mine, but I have a good relationship with Galloway precision and they asked me to review this for them. It is a high quality part for people who would want a Red Dot on their LCP max. For me, I think the Sig 365 is still the best of the micro 9mm. There is so much you can do to it and so much support for it and it is available in so many configurations.

      @@Valorius Yessir, especially now that even the smallest model has optic ready thumb safety, I like all that. What do you think about shield plus though?

    • @Valorius
      @Valorius  7 месяцев назад +1

      @@pondacres I actually currently own a Shield 1 that I have been doing a series of upgrades on, for a future video. It is a good gun- very accurate to 100yards- but it is a full 1/4lb heavier than a 365. Plus you can get factory 17rd extended mags for the 365 (From the X Macro).
      And the manual safeties on the 365 are infinitely better than the little safety on the Shield plus.

  • @markliano6518

    Thoughts on the set screw… What if you measured it and drilled a tiny hole in the middle using countersink drillbit for the set screw? do you think that would help with overall stability or is that overkill? It seems like it’s gonna get bumped around. Any kind of support would help it. Take it to a gunsmith would be months of waiting and probably $100/hr charge.

    1st when using the cross breed pocket holster are you able to carry it comfortably in front pocket with that sight installed?. 2nd how well does it present from the front pocket?

    • @Valorius
      @Valorius  7 месяцев назад +1

      No, this would be purely for a proper waistband or shoulder holster.
      The crossbreed pocket holster is a very slow draw to begin with (I have one).
      It would be a very bad host for a red dot LCP
