How the frieza force coped with frieza would be really cool, how they dimished. But id love a saga thats right after the buu, showing gohan being a kid in high school again. I know the shows not really written for that to happen but having just finished the manga TODAY. I loved gohan going to school and trying to fit in, even him being this one punch man style hero on thw side, and him and videls relationship. I wish there was more of that.

ChronicleDBZ it’s just we all are cool with trunks having multi timelines, so why can’t this be one of them? GT is still a dragon ball anime and when we got it I was just happy to see it continue. I was a kid when Toonami was playing GT every Saturday and I always looked forward to it.
moonsmonsters I respect people’s right to dislike GT, but they will show you the bad side of dragon ball fans. We should all be able to enjoy dragon ball and talk about it like fans cause that’s what we all are.
Homeslice Heroes i like super and I like GT. I honestly am happy to have seen both. I don’t prefer one over the other cause in my head I choose to think of them as two separate timelines. Super had stuff I didn’t like and so did GT but they were both entertaining and I enjoyed what I got out of them.

The 100 year timeskip can be honestly be a series as even though we know the ending, there is so much room that there's so much that you fill in
It would be cool to think about what everyone else did after Goku left at the end of GT. A cool what-if would be seeing Krillin become a new Turtle-hermit, and maybe train a new generation of fighters.

You know I read a fan manga about how goku got the virus on yardrat it was a simple damn good explanation. It got me thinking they could've fit that into the T.O.P by having Goku fight one of the yardrats and uses instant transmission against and the yardrat would be in awe asking how did he learn it and he tells him on the planet yardrat of his universe and basically the yardrat explains what mecha frieza told goku in the fan manga ( it happened in the og timeline btw so he actually fought mecha frieza here) but basically it was that yardrats atmosphere practically killed anyone who wasn't of yardrat species because of its toxicity or something like that. Then he could've been asked how he survived and say their was a cure made for him. I mean at this point yardrat is the only logical explanation that was were he last was before the virus took effect but we're way past that. Just a cool little thought I think they could've added.
I'm really curious how everything went down with Krillin and Android 18 in the seven year gap.
I would also love to see maybe a villian that 18, Krillin and the other human characters take down
I would love it if Dragon Ball went back and explored the past. There is room for them to explore a lot, whether they want to take it back to the focus on Martial arts we had in original dragon Ball, or follow the current formula.

I do enjoy the thoughts that go into the potential Dragon Ball has as a story. There's a lot of interesting ideas that could be explored Toriyama Just doesn't follow up on em or forgets just own material.
Some fun spin off ideas: some slice of life anime’s? See yamcha’s dating life and baseball career. See Pam in school. Show Goten do anything. See whatever happened to what’s her name from dragon ball. Lol.
We actually know DBZ has the potential to do comedy or slice of life right. Like goku and piccolo learning to drive. And as bad as gohan going weak was parts of it like him training videl was pretty cool until he went great saiyanman.
Maybe Goku got the heart virus from the Yardrat's homeworld. That would explain why there is no cure only treatment, like with cancer.
But there was a cure. i read a fan manga about how goku got the heart virus the explanation was simple but damned good but it could've easily been fit into super. It's never really implied upon what the cause could've been in the manga or show. IF it was because of Yardrat that makes Bulma even more of a genius she practically cured an unearthly disease.
It was earth based. They state many people died INCLUDING Goku. Trunks came from the future with a cure because after so many years they developed one. That's why when Goku got sick from not taking it, that's what saved him later in the arc
That weed he was smoking with them was too heavy on his heart once he came back to earth.

They did sorta explain what happened with trunks leading up to the time machine in his movie , “ The History of Trunks”. But I’m not sure if it cannon , I just know it explains that portion of the time skip.But the time between , warning Goku and friends , then coming back to help with the Androids is interesting.
Well, assuming Goku left and actually stayed away during the 100 year time skip, that just means that if we have other villains, it would be the first time Vegeta or someone else would finally have saved the world without Goku.

I still call bull on everyone but Pan being dead 100 years after GT. I mean Popo, Dende, Korin, Android 18 (unless she had herself deactivated after Krillin's final death), Master Roshi, Baba, there's so many characters that could and should still be alive.
Goten is only male because the writers didn't know what a female Super Saiyan would look like. So Goten should be female. But they never explained why Goten is white. Oops.

The BIGGEST Timeskip I would like to see.. is the Time of Peace and little bit of training the Z Fighters did during the three years b4 17 & 18 showed up in Trunks' future.
Exactly HOW the Z Fighters dealt with the Cyborgs, Timeline 3's Trunks goin to the UnSeen timeline, Cell killing Trunks, and the events afterwards in Timeline 4 leading to Super,GT, etc. 🐉🐲🐉🐲🐉
You could even rewrite GT by adding the Super Saiyan God and Super Saiyan Blue power ups and adding Beerus in there.

We can get an idea of how Goku got more powerful by training on Yardrat by seeing Vegeta’s power boost after his training there. Just learning how to use Spirit Control massively increases the potency of one’s ki.

Yep, lots and lots and lots of wasted potential. For instance during the three year time skip between the frieza and android saga it would have been cool to see some of the minor characters become relevant again. If I had been yamcha and given this information I would have used those three years to make three wishes with the dragonballs. the first year, i'd wish for immortality. That might keep yamcha from going down like a bitch in every fight. Then i'd wish to be transformed into a full blooded saiyan. Ya know, because those are the only ones the show really cares about as proven in late z and super. So yamcha would be relevant in that way too. Then on the last year, i'd pull a real dick move and just ask shenron to take the total combined max power level of every being on the planet and increase my power level by that amount...fuck training. I just made yamcha the most powerful character in the series. especially considering both the sleeping form of cell and majin buu were buried in the earth. Honestly though, they've never used the dragonballs intelligently in the show. it's always been to clean up the aftermath of trouble rather than prevent trouble or actually do cool shit.
Yamcha kaiok-ken times 100 would be tougher than all super saiyans.
It would be a 5 man team:
1st - Piccolo
2nd - Vegeta
3rd - Goku
4th - Mirai Trunks
5th - Yamcha the king
why Not just wish for invincibility or Everlasting youth..but the saiyan idea is a good one i’m surprised
@@jayclearmen411 if you've never seen garlic jr. immortality in dragon is a combination of invulnerability and eternal youth. The dragon is more...lenient? then other wish granters. Also, after the cell saga he gives two per turn. so yamcha, tien, and piccolo all have the ability to gain powerups.

After the short 4 year time skip between when this video was made and me writing this comment (lmao) I'd like to say that they have added a bit more to the DBS story taking place in the 10 year time skip between the Buu Saga and the end of DBZ, with the Dragonball Super: Broly movie, the Moro Arc, the Granola Arc, and the Dragonball Super: Super Hero movie. I dont think weve gone past the end of DBZ yet, if im not mistaken the end of DBS: Super Hero is around 1-3 years before the end of DBZ, so theres still some time left to see how they try and connect or retcon the ending of Z and the potential for DB:GT to become canon. The only possible chance i can see of them making DBGT canon as it is currently is for someone to make a wish on the super dragonballs that causes everyone to forget about the complete events of DBS and the fact of god ki, destroyers and angels, and basically revert every Z-fighter back to their past selves at the end of the Buu Saga. It would be extremely disappointing in my opinion for them to do that, but its the only way possible that i see to keep the end of Z true to what we saw when it was first released all those years ago. Whatcha think?
If you think about it, the part where Goten and Trunks are super saiyans and no one knows is total bullshit. You’re telling me that two kids get a 50X multiplier on their power. Making them almost as strong as frieza and nobody noticed both of those powers.

What about the time skip between the red ribbon army arc and the 22nd World tournament?
Funny and the ironic part is they could literally make specials that fall into any of the time skips and it could be decent content. Maybe they should consider that if they plan on continuing the series.

PLUS It would be nice to cover the NON-CANON movie TimeskipS as well. Like in the Deadzone/World's Strongest/Tree of Might universe, how did the Z Warriors deal with Vegeta and the Namek era villians, etc... And does this lead to Lord Slug? 🤔
The thing about DB as a series Goku exists as both the protagonist and the plot catalyst. He saves the world multiple times but it’s because of him the earth is even being threatened to begin with starting in DBZ with Raditz coming to Earth for Goku which also led to Vegeta and Nappa coming. Piccolo dying is the reason for the Namek and Frieza sagas Dr. Gero, The Androids and Cell are because of Goku destroying the RR army in Dragon Ball and so on

I really like GT, but after Super...I don't think it would be a smart or good move to retcon it. SSJ4 is still my favorite SSJ form, but with how DB's gone I can't expect a new GT to turn out good. Personally, there's no way in hell that GT villains could even compare to 2 SS Gods.

Out of context but has anyone ever wondered who androids 16, 17 and 18 actually are? I mean they did say that 17 and 18 were humans before they got turned into androids.
Goku likely got his heart virus from the Androids. So them not being able to bring back Goku is bullshit.
Goku didn't get much stronger between earth and Frieza. What lead you to believe he was stronger other than the Zenkai boost (if he even got that)? Yes, he was injured, but by narrowly escaping Namek and crash landing after traveling through space for who knows how long. When he was fighting Frieza, after going Super Saiyan, he never needed to summon more power than what he WANTED, he was far passed the point of even needing to struggle against Frieza at that point. I don't think Goku obtained any new power beyond some kind of zenkai boost since his battle on Namek to getting to earth.
I'll have to agree with you. Never really implied how much stronger mecha frieza was than namek. But I like to think even if he did get stronger a zenkai would've put Goku over him in power even more so than he already was.
I always assumed after Namek, Goku only went up from 3,000,0000 to 3,750,000, that would’ve put him at 187,500,000 when he arrived back on Earth which isn’t that big of an increase. Future Trunks was definitely equal to Goku on Namek, or just slightly stronger so probably 3,250,000 which puts him at 162,500,000 as a SSJ. Mecha Frieza has been confirmed by all sources to have been stronger than 100% Frieza on Namek who was 120,000,000 so Mecha Frieza was at the most, around 140,000,000 and King Cold around 150,000,000

@@antoniobrooks474 A little late to the party, but Mecha Freezer is implied to have surpassed SSJ Son Goku (Namek) by word of god. It should be noted that he wasn't at full power as stated by Son Gohan. Future Trunks should be almost equal to Namek Goku, and it is impossible to gauge how strong Son Goku became exactly during the gap, although it safe to say that he is quite a bit above Trunks and that he is stronger than both Freezer and Cold as he killed them in the original timeline.
I would put them like this:
Freezer: 120 million
SSJ Goku (Namek): 150 million
Mecha Freezer: 78 million
156 million (Hypothetically Full Power)
SSJ Future Trunks: 160 million
SSJ Goku (Earth): 195 million
Well, regardless of all this, mecha frieza should be ss3 level according to super's powerscaling for him.

the thing with super is that it hasnt retconed the original Z ending, everything that happens in super up until the end of the TOP arc could take place within 5 years then they have 5 years of peace hence goku not seeing anyone for 5 years.

Bruh didn't Trunks just go to the future. It's not like Trunks had to wait 3 years couldn't he have just went straight from when he told Goku about the androids to when the android were emerging.
Why not have Frost come back after gaining a golden form from seeing Super Saiyan and Golden Freiza then have him fight Goku Vegeta and Frieza and after they over power him then frost reveals that he was trained by his new master Cooler, Friezas long lost brother who disappeared years ago as later teenager because Cooler ended up getting stranded in universe 6 started training unlocking a further evolution which he chose the color red as well as gaining a new body form transformation not just a color change making even more powerful than Broly and was planning his return and to take over his family empire by beating Frieza, maybe even a scene where he watching crystal ball watching everything over the years so hes up to date with Friezas golden form. just and Idea I thought up :)

Either the Post Z 5 year timeskip, or the Post GT 100 year timeskip. There's really nothing they can fuck up or contradict. I know someone will say retcon, but you can only defend their lazy storytelling with so many before it's just a lazy cop out excuse to justify how they don't have enough respect for the established lore and fans, to not keep making lazy changes so they don't have to honor what's already there.
