Yeah, as much as I plan, there has to be an element of new discovery as I paint to keep it authentic so I'm glad it was relatable when I had a bit of fear about the composition!

OK. I made the 4 Christmas trees for my son and husband to choose for our cards. Except they happened to see this painting too and convinced me to make this one instead. 🤦🏻♀️ I am up to 20 cards, making them 4 at a time on 10”x14” paper, taped into four sections, then cutting them card sized - the final size is perfect for A7 cards. I will print and paste my Christmas family events poem on the back, which I should make them do since I will be busy painting! Did I mention we usually send out about 80 cards? I just keep reminding myself that I am getting a whole bunch of brush miles with this wet on wet blending technique. Right! Wish me luck. LOL! I am trying to make a dent before we start the advent calendar. So excited to start that! 😃🤩
