I know this is 3 years later but I thoroughly enjoyed watching you create. The simplicity is just enough to make these cards stunning. This a feel-good video so thank you for sharing your wonderful art.
I’ve made this comment before and I’ll make it again- YOU are A TRUE inspiration… I am getting out my package of card stock and my watercolors. Right.Now. Thank you for all you share CeeCee. 💖💫
After watching a few of the water color sites, it seems hand control is a big part of making a picture look professional and not wonky. I do really like your bideos.
I love watching you paint. It relaxes me and inspires me to someday try to paint. I am a card maker but I have always said that I do not have any artistic talent. Your videos inspire me enough to think that maybe I do have some. Lol thank you
Truly lovely, thank you. I will be attempting these... 😊 can I say, I love that you don’t feel the need to constantly chatter, letting your work speak for you. 💕
Learning to do better watercolor has been my covid-19 therapy. I really love your videos, the music, the simple approach, the ideas-so meditative at a couple levels. My family have been very complimentary. I’m making cards for the holiday, so Many Thanks for making these videos.
These cards are looking so sweet and they seame easily to paint. I'll go to try it. Thank you very much for this nice idea and have a wonderful Sunday ! Greatings from Germany 🍁
Just found you Cee cee👏💓👍. Thank you for some darling new card ideas. They look so fun to do. Also thank you for listing where you purchase your brushes as they aren’t easy to get now after Covid shut our small independent art supply stores. 🥰
Thanks for this!! I started (late as usual since I was in the hospital for stomach issues for a week; then all last week, dealing with “the virus part 2” 🙄😖). Feeling better, started on cards last night. I decided to stick with Derwent inktense and other permanent inks or watercolors for base shapes…mainly because when I kept attempting my vision of blowing snow; the “wind” was taking everything underneath with it
I have loved your videos for several years and always link to them when I post one of my paintings learned from you, thank you. Many people have told me they now watch your lessons and love them.
Glad you said that. I was always thinking that why would one use up a whole watercolor paper for a card instead of how you did it on a card stock .I love your art work.
Thanks so much! These are beautiful cards. I just love the way you teach. I always leave your videos feeling as if I've learned something and that I can do it!
I love the beautiful simplicity of these ~~ elegantly cute ;-) I have used watercolor paper as the base on my Christmas cards in the past, but it doubles the postage required when I need to mail them. Cee Cee, I love that you layer the watercolor paper on top of cardstock :-) Thanks for the great tip!! Christmas blessings ~~~
The cards are super cute! Being a cardmaker way longer than being into watercolor, I like to layer my cards, although I use cheaper watercolor paper. Layering is a great way to upgrade a plain card or to frame your artwork. Matching the cardstock with the used colors for the pots would be a nice idea. Another way to add to your card is a little embellishment, I imagine some gold thread around the spine of the card would be a nice combo with the gold accents. My new years resolution is getting some Kremer paints by the way. Although I am from Germany there are not easy to find, the only way is to order directly from them. Seasons greetings!
I love these. I still struggle with watercolor (it fights with my decades-long acrylic brain.) These seem like something I might be able to manage. Tfs. Happy Christmas 🎄
@@creationsceecee I often think that, going from oils to acrylics and now to watercolor that I've come back. To playing with the edges of things in particular.
Hahahahaha! Never mind. I found it by watching the Unboxing the Silver Play button! I’ll make my Pocket Doodler and prepare it for December 1st. Thank you so much for all you do :-D. Congratulations for your Silver Play Button! You deserve it!

Adorable! That's a great idea to save the wc paper for the card fronts only and use plain cardstock for the rest of the card. Less wasteful.
