Kristina I love the whimsy of this card. It is so fresh and easy looking. Spontaneous and happy like when we were kids and drew for the fun of it..No inhibitions or anything just happy and free and fun...Thank you so much you have given me so many ideas...Bless you for that and this card. I still have 20 to make and I need to start now. LOL

As I watch you work I am just amazed at how fantastic your “simple” little ideas you integrate into your basic card. I have been stamping for a number of years and I am no where near your level of expertise! Hallmark is missing a superior card designer!!! You give me a quality to strive to achieve! Thanks so much for sharing!!!!!!

I love the end result of this card. I got to this card via your 1st tree painting that didn't make the cut. I can only imagine how spectacular the 1st watercolour trees would have been as a card. Both watercolour painting are wonderful! But for me the 1st one had a whimsical magic, maybe because it was the 1st one, that the green trees, for me didn't.
I just found your channel yesterday, I haven't watercoloured in a few years now, [life] but watching you has made me want to pull out my brushes. Thank u for inviting me in to your magical watercolour world!!!💜

Oh, I love this card! Sometimes I put on RUclips Art/craft videos while I am crafting and just let it continue to play....that is how I ended up with this video today. I was actually thinking it was a new one from this year but then couldn’t find it on your blog. I love that you don’t always use an A2 sized card and make it into the size you need....cuz I have always done that😊. Thanks for all of your great tips! I just got a set of handmade Watercolors that would be perfect for a project like this. Jodi

I was thinking what a great idea it was to use that big brush to feed paint to the small brush. So much easier than going back to the palette a million times.

I love this card. I appreciate that you didn't start over when you noticed the bleeding. Too often when I mess something up, it ends up in the trash. I will be trying this one. Although, I may have to cut my tape. Doubt I'd get the thin tape in time to make my Christmas cards. Thanks so much for sharing your creativity and talents. You truly inspire me. You are my first go to place on RUclips.

Kristina....I love this card and am going to give it a try.
I have seen you make 5" x 7" cards before, which for us Canadians, is a "normal" size of card. I remember the first time I made an A2 card and I really thought it looked "funny" because it was not what I was used to. And of course, it is far more economical and more efficient using our 8.5" x 11" cardstock. However, after seeing this tutorial, I thought to myself wouldn't it be great if SSS came out with 5x7 notecards! I would love to know everyone else's thoughts on this because depending on the feedback, and if it's a product we all want (I really think it would be fun to have more space to create on), perhaps it is something art supply stores would consider. What do you think Kristina?
    Happy crafting everyone!

I love skinny tape! I have some 1/8" blue and green tape by 3m.The blue in the 1/8" is #2080 and 2090 and the green is #233+; I got it on amazon as well and wow it was super inexpensive around $3 and prime! I had quite the go with the two blue tapes. The 2090 blue works better on coldpress as it's slightly tackier and grabs the paper more "crisply...crispily" hmm...I think I might have just made those words up..you get it though. The 2080 worked better on hotpress as I expected having an ever so slight less tack. I had no trouble keeping the fibers intact when removing the tape as long as everything was bone dry. I didn't understand why some edges just bled! I found that using my nail to burnish? or crease the overlapped tape to whatever it could stick to, to prevent any hidden cracks for the paint to escape and maybe it's just coincidence, it makes sense to me that by using the warmth of my fingers to slowly rub the tape down made one heck of a difference along with burnishing.

It gets overwhelming, as a new crafter, to go out to buy supplies or watch these videos and see how many different supplies are used.
