I can't believe my eyes......3 cards in 15 minutes! You make it look so easy; how you show us every little line, every shading, every detail; all done in your easy relaxed motions. I want to try but I'm afraid I won't be able to do it. Call me 'chicken'; so afraid! I know that's silly, so what if it's bad, it's just paint, paper and water. Just start over! You can do it! I just started in October and I learned from Emma and others on youtube. And it's a rather inexpensive hobby in my opinion. I find it to be very therapeutic!

Your tutorials are so amazing that I went today and bought a watercolor set, some brushes, and proper paper, and see if I can get past my deep dislike of watercolors that comes from using them as a kid with a poor brush on printer paper. It was so frustrating as a kid to do anything with those when the paper rolled and the teacher knew nothing about watercolors, so I haven't really tried that method at all after school. That tree however feels like a perfect way to discover how to actually use those paints fun way.
My 7 year old just watched this with me and we can't wait to try to make our own cards! She wanted me to tell you that you are very good at calligraphy and that you shouldn't say you aren't good at it :) Have a great day!!

Love thee cards! I just wanted to mention that there are so many stamps that can be used for watercolor! I’ve bought from a few different shops when they are on clearance! I’ve also bought some from AliExpress, they are super cheap there! I try not to buy from any that are designed by the big companies, just wanted to mention this. The way they do this is stamping with Tim holtz distress inks, light colors like antique linen. Then when you start painting, the ink blends in with ur watercolor paints. 😊💗
Your kids are as adorable as their parents. I bought the platinum from your set yesterday. I mixed it with red, and it worked!!!!!! Silvery red ribbon on my mistletoe!!!!! It works. So 🤩
You are very talented! I have no watercolor experience, so I am watching how you hold your brush, and also noting the brush number. Your tip to move your arm and not your hand when making a straight line or a border is a great one. You have inspired me to try watercolor painting. Now I just need to find my paper! I did something similar to the tree card with different colours blending. Very cheery. Also, O did some with more smaller trees in different sizes in a row. I then made some decorations in the trees, nothing fancy, like baubles and golden or silver chains. Lots of fun to do, and very quick, too.
First, I have to tell you that your son is adorable! I enjoyed watching you create these cards. Each one makes the perfect card for sending to someone special. I look forward to trying, myself. Watching you paint is very relaxing and very inspiring. I know your time is limited with your new son but I really appreciate you sharing.
