Hello Emma. I’m in Alabama. I started watching your videos almost 2 years ago. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and felt as though I needed something in my life to encourage me along my cancer storm. I came across your videos and said, I can do watercolor painting with your help. I ABSOLUTELY love watercolor painting ! Thank you SO VERY much for helping me in the storm of my life.
I, too, began my watercolor journey as a result of breast cancer. I was diagnosed almost 8 years ago, and became active in the local Cancer Support Community. It is a wonderful non-profit organization that offers support to anyone affected by cancer. They had a watercolor class, so I signed up for it. It was just what I needed! It is so calming and relaxing. I have been painting all my Christmas cards for the last 6 years. I wish you well on your cancer journey and pray for a complete recovery.
Hello @junedixon1537, I'm also from Alabama--currently in Michigan. Last week found out I need surgery. I found Emma 3 years ago and began my watercolor journey bc it's so relaxing and pretty. You're going to be alright--everything is going to be alright (this is what I want to hear from others).
@@marieb8502 Oh my goodness! Hello fellow Alabamian. Michigan is so far away. Do you ever get back to warm Alabama? My prayers are with you. YES we will be just fine. I just love Emma she’s extremely talented and we are truly blessed to have her sharing her talents with us.
I had a similar introduction to watercolor and to this channel. She has taught me so much and it has been such a blessing to have this skill and creative outlet as a hobby to get through tough times. Blessing to you on your journey to healing
I broke my dominant hand one year ago. I am now starting to paint again and feeling the frustration of no control. Thank you for breaking the painting down so I can rebuild my talent. Cards are perfect for small projects. Thank you and Happy Holidays.
I'm watching from Walnut Creek, California. I am 90 years old, {or I should say young}, and a "wannaa be" artist. You make it look possible. I have watched you paint for several years now and need to get the courage to try painting myself.
After not painting for 20 years I have restarted. This channel is my favorite for relearning skills. So many channels are doing swatching over and over. Watching somebody else’s paint dry doesn’t improve my skills.
Hi Emma, Two years ago, I was about to have surgery and decided to try watercolor to calm my nerves. Somehow, I stumbled across you on the internet and have been watching you paint and learning from you every since. Thank you for being there for people like me❤

Hi Emma. I live in Santa Fe New Mexico. I'm 72 and have been painting since spring 23. I'm obsessed. It's a great stress reliever for me as I care for my 92 yr old parents ' my disabled bed bound brother who has Parkinson's ' and my husband who currently can hardly walk due to a spine issue. So painting takes me away for a bit. I've watched many of your posts and tutorials which I adore.

Hi Emma! From Ohio!! I've been watching you for the last year. I actually picked up a brush on New Years Eve 2022 to start off my journey in watercoloring. Your advise and encouragement have truly kept me on track creating almost daily since the start. I started, as house warming gifts, giving away small 4x6 inch framed paintings this fall when I learned to do your pumpkins. From that came a request to create Christmas gifts for purchase, I was so honored, I just gave them away! It's been an incredible discovery of a side of me I never knew I had. Thank you for allowing me to ride with you through your tutorials!

You have helped me feel like I get it early on. Even if I don’t like the final outcome sometimes, I still feel like I learn something that will make my next painting better.
Hi Emma, I'm watching from Edmonton Alberta . I am a 78-year-old senior and I recently had to move into a lodge which is only one room so I needed to find an activity that I could do. I went on to RUclips and found your channel and I subscribed immediately. Thank you so much for all that you do and share with us. Hi Emma, writing here from Montreal, Canada. I started watching your videos at the beginning of the lockdowns when I was looking to pick up a hobby that eventually turned into a passion. Watercolor brought me so much comfort at a time when my mental health was being challenged. Recently my beloved dog passed away and again your videos have been a source of healing and relief as I navigate this difficult journey. Thank you for sharing your talent, skills and wonderful personality. Happy to see how much your channel evolved since.

Hi Emma, I’m in Flemington, New Jersey. I have been watching you since the very beginning when Covid kept us indoors. I love your frankness and ability to be human. Kiss, keep it short and simple, that is your style and it really works. You have brought me through a thumb joint replacement and a shoulder replacement with the joy of watercolor.❤️Happy Holidays!
Watching you from Barcelona for years now! After discovering your channel I couldn’t stop watching your videos and picturing myself (not a very artistic person)painting with watercolour so I started painting with you! Thanks bc it’s been so helpful with my ansaiaty and depression!

I'm watching from Bellingham, Washington up near Vancouver. I started art classes only three years ago, well into my 30s and have been learning to paint using your videos during that time so thank you for sharing your talent with the world.
I am watching you from Mobile, Alabama. I enjoy your videos so much, your way of teaching is wonderful for this 80 year old who has just recently decided to try watercolor painting. This paint pallet would certainly put a big smile on my old wrinkled face. Thank you for reading this and now I will watch some more of your videos. Have a wonderful Christmas!
Hello Emma, I am from Georgia, USA. I am relatively new to watercolor painting. I have used other mediums for about 30 years. In October I decided to look into watercolor painting and found your tutorials. I love them. You are so easy to understand and I have been following your techniques to teach myself. Thank you. I hope you have a blessed Christmas. Thanks, Gwen. I would love to try these pants.
I am watching from Vancouver island. where there is a lot of evergreen trees. I love the little Christmas tree and basket. Such a great idea to add texture by leaving the white paper come true. I love that. Thanks again Emma. I have been watching you since the beginning of your channel because you’re such a good teacher. I am amazed at your journey over the years. You are a wonderful artist. Merry Christmas to you and your lovely family
Hi Emma- I’m watching from North Carolina, and first saw your beautiful (and famous,) poppies about 6 months ago. I’ve always loved beauty, and watercolor especially, but never liked or connected with art in school, and just thought it wasn’t my gift. After watching several of your low-key videos, (you make it look so easy, and you tell us your secrets!) I had to try, and I couldn’t believe how much I enjoyed it! I never thought I could draw- much less paint, and was very surprised- I am loving it. Trying to paint a little bit most days…❤️
Hello! I am from Ohio and started watching your videos and doing watercolor painting while recovering from surgery from a broken ankle this fall! Thank you for helping to keep me sane!
Hi Emma, long time follower & Patron subscriber…love, love all your amazing work, Im from Ireland & live in New York, watching you paint is so relaxing & calming, looking forward to all these next days of painting 💜🤗
Love this! I found your channel several years ago when I was looking for watercolor Christmas card ideas. I have since learned so much about watercolor from you, but your Christmas card tutorials remain some of my favorites. Thanks so much for all the great content!!!
Emma, I so appreciated your view of watercolors and starting out. What you can do with a kids palette can be amazing. I have been painting for about year now and started with said kids palette. Now I keep it on top of my paints which invites comments and then conversation. Painting is my soul inside out and on the lose 🤭 Hello, so nice to meet you
Hi Emma. I am in Southern California. I started watching your videos during the lock down. I found you while searching for watercolor videos because I wanted to explore painting with them. Prior I was using acrylics but they can be bulky to take with you to paint anywhere except at home. Since I started watching I have gotten several different paint pallets and enjoy all of them. I also subscribed to your boxes and just received my last one for the year and am looking forward to using them for a long time, those are the only professional ones I own along with the cotton paper. Love all of your videos and am trying to paint more loosely, I tend to be a more detailed painting and am trying to loosen up. 😊
I’m in Georgia. I’ve been watching your channel for over three years. I am on a journey of rediscovery. Watercolor has been a passion of mine since college, but it has proven challenging, yet I refuse to give up. This medium is fascinating in that I can only guide it so far and then its personality shows out which often delights me even more igniting my desire to explore it even further. Thank you for sharing your skill and knowledge with us.
I am watching your video from a small town called Almond. In Wisconsin. You were the person who got me excited about watercolor. I was scrolling youtube and came across you. Bought your brushes from Craftamo and got started. Been painting over a year now. So. Thank you!
Thank you Emma, I always wanted to learn how to use watercolors, yet it always seemed to be overwhelming. I was born with a condition called Ectrodactyly which for me means I only have one finger on each hand. Fine finger movements are difficult and I worried that it would prevent me from being being able to do watercolors. A couple years ago I found your videos and it gave me the inspiration to try it out. I followed your Christmas pinecones video and it worked out great! The fine movements are still difficult but I still could do it. 😁 Thanks for your help and encouragement for people to learn to paint and make it feel like it is possible for anyone
Hi Emma from Fort Wayne Indiana. I started water coloring during COVID after working as a COVID nurse and having a complete meltdown. You have helped me so so much. Love your videos and your little boy is so adorable. Happy Holidays.
Hello from Florida! I started doing handpainted Christmas cards back in 2020 because of Covid! I was so depressed and painting those cards saved my sanity. And, I received so many uplifting comments from those that received the cards. It made me realize that people still appreciate handmade items! People told me that they were framing them!
Hello from Boise, Idaho! Emma Jane, I love your non traditional ideas for the Christmas cards. My favorite was the floral one. I love this pallet, all the beautiful colors in it, and the convenience of it all for traveling!
Emma! For the past 3 years I have been following your page. It has been my Christmas tradition to paint with you when you come out with your holiday card video. Thank you for taking the time to share your gift with an amateur painter like myself. All your videos are inspiring 🤍
Long time subscriber, who has consistently liked (loved!!) your channel. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to paint along and learn with your no-nonsense style of teaching. I tune in regularly from the "center" of the USA in the mid-west state of Nebraska. Looking forward to hearing from you, and the generous drawing/offer of the Paul Ruben sponsor. Keeping my fingers crossed! 🤞🏻Thanks for the gorgeous card ideas Em! Merry Christmas holidays to you and your adorable family.
Hi Emma ,I have known watercolor for over a year and I struggled to find a good RUclips channel to learn about watercolor but when I saw your videos I understood watercolor more and I improved my technique for watercolor. And I also found it hard to find good pallets for watercolor but introduced me to good watercolor pallets,I’m very thankful for your videos and tutorials ❤
Hi Emma, I’m in British Columbia. I just started watercolors about a month ago, I have MS and have lost the ability to do most of the things I love. Watercolors have given me a new hobby that I can actually do, and your videos have helped me immensely. Thank you.
Watching from Virginia, USA. I have been so inspired by your florals and your quick beautiful cards. These projects work perfect with my time constraints. ❤
Hi Emma, I am from Kennewick Washington, and had started my watercolor journey about three months ago. You were one of the first videos that I watched and continue to watch.
Hi Emma, Your my favorite person to watch. I've done more sin e watching you than in the 6 months I've been struggling with painting. I love your giggles and "Oh well" let's keep going attitude. Your son is adorable. I started painting in the Spring when many health issues caused me left sitting or laying down. I was so depressed because I was always doing something and love many types of crafts. Then I got an autoimmune disease that caused my hands pain so I got out of my pity party and thought I'd try painting since everything else I no longer could do. Then I lost my eye sight in one eye. Wow ! 😢 So I push on trying hard to paint. I don't care if I win or not. I just wanted to tell you when ever I turn you on to watch I get excited about painting. Thank you 😊
Hello from Havertown in Pennsylvania. I started to watercolor at the beginning of the Covid pandemic. I’ve learned so much by watching your videos and I love painting with your brushes!
Hello, watching from California. Been watching your videos for years. I've always been shy to gift my art but I just need to get over that. But I do have it all over my house. I took instruction from a local artist in my area and she was great. I have followed several artists on RUclips, and I have gained a wealth of information. Keep up the good work. I just need to make these cards once and for all.
Hello, hello to you 😊 I am watching you do your magic from Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 Thank you so much for sharing so much with so many for the joy of the art. I'm so excited about your giveaway. Stay well.
Hi, from Texas. I’ve been subscribed since 2020 when I discovered watercolor as a stress release. I love the way you de-emphasize perfection and make the process about fun.
Hi, Emma, I adore your vidéos. The first one was about the poppies. I did it and I have adored the process, paint with your comment and in the same time as your. I'll be happy continue with painting using the beautiful artistic palette. Thank you for this giveaway 🎉❤😊

Now that I can't work because of continued treatment, I make watercolor cards for those special in my life! Also thank you for showing another pallette option. I've always heard great things about this pallette !🎨
Love your videos. Started watercolor painting last year when I retired. You are one of the artists that i watch.
When i watch you paint this total newbie to the craft keeps saying wow look at that,so in awe how you make painting look so approachable. Thanks for inspiring us all.

Hi from Montana. It's almost 2 years since my husband died, your videos are pulling me out of my funk and inspiring me to paint again.
Wow ! 😢
So I push on trying hard to paint. I don't care if I win or not. I just wanted to tell you when ever I turn you on to watch I get excited about painting. Thank you 😊
I'm from Ohio. I've been watching you for several years and I learn something from every video I watch. Thank you!
I'm here from Colorado. I paint with my kiddos pretty frequently, and watercolors are our go-to 😁
Hello from Havertown in Pennsylvania.
Hello, hello to you 😊
I am watching you do your magic from Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦
Thank you so much for sharing so much with so many for the joy of the art.
