why do some people become famous and most don't .David alexaner had the voice to oblitterate more or less every singer on the planet but remained relatively unknown. After death he is becoming more popular and will only increase with demand.I do hope he becomes a truly superstar which he deserves even after his passing.
he was my dad's best mate in the business, i called him uncle david when we stayed with him in tenerife, still miss him to this day, im beginning a singing career my self follow in his and my dads footsteps and would love to record this song, we still miss you david, ad x
How this brilliant performer was missed in the US is beyond me. A great talent all the way through. One of the best things about youtube is being able to find deeply talented, honest performers like this who understand.
My dad was a miner until the pit he worked at closed he worked at bates pit in the north east of the UK but sadly he is no longer with us as he passed away in October 2018 from lung cancer miss you every day dad xx
I worked with David the week he passed away in Tenerife. He came into the hotel where I was doing a show and we got him up for a couple of songs.I went back north for a few days and when I returned,he had gone.Such a shock.
seen david in concert he was unbelievable this song and his voice reminds me of a different time a better time because back then people were better we will never get those times back because this country doesnt care about working class people and communities
Ok don't all shoot me at once, he has a nicer tone voice than Tom Jones, there is something there that just does it that little bit more, love David, R.I.P you legend
Gresford, The Real Price of Coal and Working Man. All Miners hymns and songs and everyone a winner. Live in the North East of England and the hurt is still there though of the bitterness of the strike of 84/85. The bravest men on earth were sold downstream and for what? An industry based on the service sector. eg Banking, and look where that's got us.
