That Glossier Wild Fig is my absolute favorite thing so watching you agonize then decide not to declutter and then actually declutter that one was a whole roller coaster of emotions ending with my broken heart lol

Me too! With other people the balm section is always boring but because Lauren loves lip balms so much she always makes it so interesting to watch.

This video is so relatable - I've been an aspirational lipstick wearer for a while now and have a similar problem where I have all this lipstick I just don't wear. Besides that, the best part is the sped up sound of the counting.
The title is so relatable...why do i hate lip products but still own 50 lipsticks. Make it make sense💄🙂
I feel like I like the idea of them but in the end they are very skippable whenever I get ready in a hurry and I'm bad with reapplying them. I also hate when they trasfer, wear off, dry my lips out. I used to wear lipgloss a lot but with masks there's no point in reapplying.

@@cherrynicole4511 I have small lips with a kinda irregular lipline so my favourite combo is lipliner and lipgloss. I don't think stains are the effect I want. I want my lips to be defined in shape but also not dry and slightly lighter than my natural colour for everyday wear. Lipliner and lipgloss did give me that graceful fade unless I didn't have my hair up lmao

Seriously love all of your declutters, Lauren! I can assure you that the Tower28 ones smell weird. I bought 4/5 all at different times, and they ALL smelled the exact same. Everyone says they smell good, but as someone who's sensitive to smells, I think they smell nauseating. I don't think you got a bad one!!

Yep, I hear you. I have to just get rid of them!!! I have many that are just so pretty but I just don’t wear them. Then I have the ones that aren’t for me. I would love to have my lip collection around 30. Ugh
this reminds me of when i took a la mer lip balm from my mom’s bathroom. Out of curiosity i looked up the price on sephora and i was so shocked at the price that i left a kind of angry review telling people to only buy it if they want to burn money. that lip balm is as mediocre as it gets and the price still makes me angry LMAO
Haven’t finished the video but I’m at the part where you mentioned your most expensive lip balm and how it sinks into the lips and really hydrates. I wish you’d also mention which other ones also do the same thing, if any, for reference.
This is the inspiration I need to declutter my lip products too. I barely wear anything on my lips these days but I still buy lip products constantly 😭 it's time to just keep what I can handle.
The Fresh lip balms are amazing. The blood orange one is to die for and smells like the zest. I think the lime mint reminds me of a subtle mojito. I go through them so quickly!
Okey but I Dew Care's packaging has no business being THAT cute like?? Tbh, make something pink or blue (like the laneige mint chocolate one) or any pastel-ly color and im instantly trying to force myself out of buying it 💞💕
I love lipstick, but I "only" own about 30, which still seems like a ton to me. Then again, I wear makeup for fun and for community theater, not to review, make videos, etc. I also keep my lip products ruthlessly organized and decluttered, because I love lipstick so much I want the lip products I own to be only the ones I love.

I had forgotten about the Revlon Kiss Balm. Quite a nice product - comfy, nice tint, and has SPF. I wonder if they've changed the packaging though - the lid used to always slide off in my purse. : (

I love the Milk and Kopari lip balms. I feel like they actually help my lips for awhile, not just a couple minutes like other balms. I have so many lip products but I have a hard time decluttering formulas I like.
It took me years to finally get rid of my unused lip products! I'm down to 3 balms, 5 liquid lipsticks and 3 crayon/bullets. I literally wear 2 different colors LOL I don't need one of everything.
I love figs too! I almost got excited when you brought that up. Oh I love that red gloss! I love liquid lipsticks and good lipliners. I get some awesome ones from LM! ❤️ My fav colors are mauves!! I have sooo much makeup, but still keep adding more! I'm obsessed.

i haven't bought any lipsticks since the mask mandate in my state went into effect, and I was super proud of myself until i realized i had just started buying lip balms up a STORM. And by that I mean 3 in the span of 1 month. making my total 8. Which is waaaay too much for me. i've used up one, and gave an unused one to my sister that I will buy for myself again when i have whittled down the number a little bit more.

I'm a lip balm girl. Seriously still wind up hoarding them. Whenever I try lipstick I have a tendency to smear it in short order. Not that it has stopped me from picking up new ones on sale in the hopes that I find a formula I like.
Morphe Hot Shot is a beautiful red orange that isn’t too drying! Just gums up after some time
What is your fav lip liners? I know the ones that are pencils usually don't glide easy enough. But open the affordable recommendations! ❤️

I was about to say nyx too, I have a covergirl pinky nude mechanical lip liner I like a lot. I know expensive ones lauren and a lot of others say Lisa eldridge.

Stopping partway through to tell you that my Tower 28 gloss in Cashew smells the exact same as what you describe yours to be :( You said it's like, pennies. I definitely get that iron scent, mine tastes like freakin' blood, it's terrifying lol.

I love lip balms too, totally obsessed. I need to go through my lippies too as I don't wear them very much especially now we wear masks everywhere. I love glosses and bullet lipsticks ahead of liquid lipsticks as I have dry lips. Ofra liquid lips are gorgeous though.

Kassie Tatcher posted a speed review for her Sephora haul today, and she mentioned she returned the Tower 28 lip product. She said it smelled bad and she could “taste” the grossness of the smell. I don’t think you got a one off!
I do think it smells weird, but it’s really comfortable, so it’s kind of a toss-up. It smells kind of chemical-y to me.
Isn’t Tower 28 a “clean” brand? I’m guessing it might smell off because there’s no artificial scent to cover the natural scent, or maybe no preservatives to keep them fresher longer so they turn quicker than they can be sold.

Tarte best bud is the BEST lip balm ever!!! I can't believe you have an unopened and passing along. 😮 If it's the pink color, it's the PERFECT lip balm. I've NEVER said this on a declutter before but, I feel like that was a HUGE surprise. It's not sticky, it's just perfect. I'm ordering more for me!!!

I was shocked how long the mini laneige sleeping mask last. Love them!! Apple lime is my favorite.
Decluttered my collection along with you and was able to get rid of over half my things, if not more and it all fits within a smaller/ medium sized makeup bag except for eye palettes! great ☺️☺️☺️
Now I’m feeling motivated to go through my lip products...after a year of mask wearing, I know there’s probably some stuff that’s no good anymore, and tbh I’m also pretty minimal when it comes to lip stuff.
I'm the opposite. I love lip products but the pandemic made me limit my use only to lip oils and glosses. Can't wait for it to be over.
Likewise I was ALWAYS A lipstick girl once I got heavy into makeup. But with the pandemic and the masks I stopped. However now I'm all like my full dry lips NEED a good lip mask so that's all I wear. On My days off I'll use a tinted lip gloss or lip oil

I'm old school (and "old") ;-) I want my lip color solid and in a roll up tube. Don't like lippies, colored balms, glosses, etc. As with all my stuff, clothes, make-up, etc., I go for cool undertones. Not counting my chapstick I have under 40 in my collection. Some are quite old but as long as they smell good . . .OH!!! With a lipstick: apply, blot, and dab a bit of translucent powder over it with your finger. It will be matte, but the color will last comfortably for ages even under a mask.
Lip balms are one of my favorite things in the makeup/skincare world
Chapstick is not a good brand for lip balm because it contains alcohol, which makes it more drying on the long run. :-/

I have 3 large , 3 minis & two tubes of Laneige balms & i likes that peach revlon balm better than anything ! Ive been to 3 drugstores & theyve had every flavor but peach !! Im buying 5 next time i find it ! I was sweating when you decluttered that one ! Ugh..... 🤣

I really need to do this. I have a couple gallon-sized ziplocs that live in my bathroom drawers since we remodeled last summer that I don't use since I don't have easy access to them. I need to pare them down & find a useful way to store them.

I love the Tower 28 blushes and everyone was raving about glosses. I bought the first one in Fire and it smelled like rotting fruit and the color disappeared after 15 minutes. I returned and bought the milky formula in Cashew and it was the same exact smell!!! Can’t handle it. Love my Fenty and Juvia’s instead.
