- Hey guys!! We are on to day 3 and the hardest day so far... Highlighters!! I was a little shocked that I started this declutter with over 70 highlighters but I am so happy that I took the time to really declutter and make room for makeup I can't wait to use!! You should do something like 30 Days of Glow & demo a different highlighter each day. Because you don't post content daily, maybe compile it in 7 day in one video groupings...sort of montage style. We can admire your collection & you'd get to see it in use. Choose from the less used & familiar items.

The only reason I panned mine was because I use ome spot and dont swirl and I use it also as inner highlight for eyeshadow and use a small brush and use that same spot haha otherwise impossible!!!

You should definitely do a SUMMER MAKEUP BASKET, where you place everything you thought while decluttering that you'll be using in the summer. In the end of the season you should go through the basket and evaluate which ones you actually used and loved and the rest should maybe be decluttered?! Sometimes the "summer makeup" or any other strictly seasonal makeup sounds similar to what Kelly Gooch describes as "fantasy me" makeup... Anyways, I like your declutters and I like that you take your time and don't rush anything. Declutters are like massive reviews for the audience! I absolutely hate when youtubers minimize the declutter videos length and somehow think that we would only care about the prosentual declutter amount...😳🤦🏼♀️
Yes yes yes, that would be an awesome follow up video to all the declutters. I’d also love to see someone review their past declutter video and hear their reasoning for keeping things when they’re sitting there trying to figure out whether to keep them again. Sure they’re beautiful, but if you don’t use them then they’re not that special.

I was so upset when one day I opened up my compact in my year of the pig was shattered beyond repair and it looks pretty much like what you have in your hand there… I would say that’s probably my favorite highlighter I have. You have a gorgeous collection and I just want you to know that you are my favorite beauty you tuber by far❤️
I’ve found that I never use highlighters after I repress them, BUT if I turn them into a loose highlighter by completely crushing them up and putting them in a small container, I use them all the time! I did this with an Ofra highlighter and a Becca mini that arrived shattered, and I love this solution so much more than repressing! They’re also great for travel because I’m not worried about them breaking. You do lose the beautiful Becca packaging, but if I know I won’t use them when they’re repressed, then that’s a fair trade to me.
I also prefer my highlighters shattered lol they're more pigmented and I can also use them.aa eyeshadows
Wow!! That’s the complete opposite from me!! I had a wnw loose highlighter that I never used until I repressed it!

I have some Wet N Wild highlighters I bought that really emphasize texture badly. I think I will use them on my shins and collarbones and stuff and try to use them as body shimmers. I normally wouldn't use a body shimmer but I think it should be subtle enough. I just don't want to waste the makeup!
i really love the wet n wild loose highlights, i would say they are more blinding than a lot of my high end highlights, maybe you would like those better :)
paige I would still try any new Wet N Wild product I haven’t tried yet! I WANT to love the brand. Lol. I actually grew up in the ‘80’s and I remembered it from back then, so it totally has a nostalgic place in my heart. There’s still one line of highlighters they have - I forgot the exact name of it, but I have heard better things about that specific line and would still like to see how that performs.
I usually don’t like declutter videos, and don’t watch them. But yours are really good. The lighting, the way it’s filmed and how you talk/reasoning behind keeping/get rid off🙌🏽💕🙌🏽
I need those fluide things. I have a ton of milk highlighters now so I'm fine but I love cream highlights especially with a blue or pink shift

What is it about highlighters that makes most women’s heart beat faster? I am the worst..like a crow to shiny things, that is my absolute favourite makeup item to buy. 70 plus highlighters??. That’s not bad..
We are all in fact just a bunch of crows who want all the shiny things we can get

I like more pink based highlighters, I like anything more natural glow. I have the abh moonchild glow kit only to use for inner corner highlights for colorful looks, they are so glittery. I highly dislike super glittery highlights.

vanilla quartz from becca is one of my favorite ones ever! same with lilac geode and berlin girl glow - i just can't get enough

I didnt watch any further im quickly commenting but, pillow talk in the ofra feelin myself trio (older black packaging, idk about the newer white one up to date) felt like it was so chalky and powdery compared to swatches of the single i was seeing online, so i bought the full size out of curiosity, and its soo much nicer. (idk if blissful and rodeo drive are also not the same but i dont own the full size of those) Just a fyi!
I'm glad you kept the Iconic London liquid one I neglected it and started using it again now in the Summer time and it's absolutely stunning!

I use the Laura Geller under my eyes and by my nose and I am fair. Omg. Life changing product. Been through so many. Try it. It’s beautiful. The glow and coverage it gives is so beautiful.

I can't believe Becca discontinued the Liquid Shimmering Skin Perfectors... and instead released that weird greasy highlighter that everyone hates. What a brain freeze.
I know they discontinued their cream ("melted") highlighters.....did they discontinue the actual liquid ones? I've seen the original ones online so thought the new ones were a limited edt release but now it's out of stock everywhere so it seems like you're right!!

I tried a mini of the moonstone liquid one recently (got in a kit at marshalls) and fell in love! Was so sad to see they were discontinued
I use French Vanilla as an all over glow powder, like the hourglass powders. It’s def not glowy enough to solely be on my cheekbones, so I came up with another way to make it work :)
All kaleidos makeup packaging is super bulky for the amount of product. Why?

I love those kalidos highlighters
My favorite highlighter is Fenty's kilowatt is Lightening dust/fire crystal. My ABH glow kit in Sundipped, Stila's opulence and Bare Minerals in Whimsy. My liquid highlighter fav is an oldie but goodie by Benefit and it the high beam, and i got rid of the Wet n Wild one which did nothing!! I have a Benefit palette which I use all the time and it has the Cookie highlighter, and it is only ok. I decluttered the Kevin Aucoin one that you had --as it was like spending my hard earned money on expensive vaseline!! The sheen wore off in like one minute so there was no shine factor. It literally looked like nothing. Kathleen Lights recommended it and i think it was sponsored!!!
I'm coming for that fenty highlighter! I'm still obsessed with my one and only Mary loumanizer after all these years. And I STILL want fenty. I've been waiting for another highlighter to release to kill that want and it just hasn't happened. 😊
I love love love the Kevyn Aucoin face gloss! I have 3 shades and they all work on my pale skin, they look so glossy without a ton of pigment. Very wet looking but not metallic. I mix a little into my foundations too.
I can understand why the formula isn't everyone's favourite, but trust me when I say some people love it.
Drugstore recommendations: the Maybelline Master Strobing Stick. I have both shades (Iridescent 100, a pale luminous pink, and Nude Glow 200, a sheeny bronzey beige). They are my absolute favorite cream highlighters! Gorgeous, reflective, glass-like on the skin.

One type of item catagory that people miss to declutter is TOOLS. Brushes, sponges, makeup cleaning items, reusable items related to makeup. Was super hoping you would do TOOLS.

I’m going to say it....I don’t like Becca highlighters 😬 idk man. I had champagne pop and moonstone and they were just okay. My sole highlighter I have now is the Pur one and I’m obsessed.
I have 2 of them when i first ventured into highlighters and i dont like them either! I kept trying but they arent strong enough for me. Ive realized i like high shine/super sparkly, colorful highlighters (which i know is def a minority opinion haha)
I like my Becca highlighters but they're definitely not my favorites in my collection.
The first highlighter that worked on my vampire pale skintone was Becca's Pearl and while I still really like it, I've found other white/silver options that I like more. Becca's Berlin Girl Glow, on the other hand, is one of my favorites. It's not the formula that I love, it's the color - a translucent base with a slight silvery blue shift that's only visible when the light hits. I don't have anything like it.

Same. I’ve hardly worn makeup since the pandemic started but even when I do I’ve mostly been skipping highlighter entirely 😅
The white ofra palette has pillowtalk, star islanf and space baby, the start inspire duo has pillowtalk and star island and then you have the single space baby so it might make sence to keep either the trio or the single and the duo 😊

For your liquid highlighters - mix them into your body lotion or body butter. I do this when de cluttering my highlighters and illuminating primers. It creates a bomb body cream with a gorgeous shimmer.

I LOVE mixing the Ilia highlighter (or the Marc Jacobs dew drops) into my primers. Sometimes I leave it at that over a tinted sunscreen, sometimes I layer foundation, but it gives a gorgeous glow that pops through my foundation. Seeing all of the Becca highlighters makes me so happy. I need to finish one more so I can go buy moonstone. I'm kind of HLP about powder highlights, but I've panned moonstone twice and really just love it.

Appreciate your honesty. I have bare minerals eyeshadows and it’s nuts. I mean not hoarder level (no shade) but I’m feeling it’s not cool I’m going to share them with family. I am doing a serious clear out of all my stuff. I want to be lighter of the crap I have. I want to take a deep breath of clean. Stuff doesn’t define me. I need to either do it or stfu😉
