- Hey guys!! We are on to day 2 of my declutter series and I am tackling bronzers and blushes!! I was really happy with the progress I made in this category and am finding that a really important part of decluttering for me has to do with being ok of letting go of products I may like but don't use! If I kept everything that was good I would have so much makeup and it would be impossible to use the makeup I LOVE!! I am getting better on really understanding what I actually can and will use and to let go and pass on great products to others for them to enjoy instead of keeping them to sit in my drawers to collect dust!! Anyway, just some thoughts... haha I hope you enjoy and be on the lookout for highlighters tomorrow!! :)

I have definitely come a loooong way in my Decluttering!! It has taken time and practice to not be so attached to my makeup so if you do want to Declutter just keep trying and practicing!! It’s like a muscle!! ❤️

Maybe it'd be a good idea for you to go on a no buy/low buy instead and trying to rotate everything that you already have? Approaching a declutter of things you never reached for or disliked how they performed after that time could be easier and help you curate your purchases in the future (which is way more important than curating what you already have). It's hard to declutter stuff you spent your money on I totally get it! I also not always have people to pass them onto.

@@LaurenMaeBeauty I think that's my problem too I am emotionally attached, and I don't see how that even happened with objects, I also have a huge collection of books and I feel sort of the same way but only for some of them not all of them.

I know other people can relate to this, but I deadass can’t stand silence and have to listen to something always, and declutter vids hit different when you’re getting ready for bed. So calming. Such a bonus it’s one of your vids! 🥰

Blush is my weaknesssss, it makes me feel like a cute flower woodland fairy haha or more youthful. I only have one clinique blush pop (in ginger pop) and love the formula so much, too! Also big fan of glossier cloud paints, they're my #1

You do such a great job decluttering. I need to try decluttering with you mind. I can’t rid of some things I like bu nothing I love. And I am slowly getting rid of things but it’s so slooooww. I’m attached to material item too much. Things hold stories for me, they remind me of times had and I love being reminded of a memory while I’m going through my stuff.
Watching your declutters has been so helpful, I have a larger collection and it's starting to frustrate me so I'm going to try to think about what I have, what I use and declutter in waves

OMG! Hannah's ICONIC Nars pallete. Yes! Keep! (So weird the attachment I have to your Lila palette that Hannah has and her Nars palette that she has).
I used to LOVE the Laura Geller blushes too. I’m glad to see your collection has brands that aren’t as “popular” on RUclips.

I just went through my collection as well. It is hard to give up some items, but then I remember how much love the items will gey if I re home them. ☺

Blush was never my thing. I had e.l.f "Mellow Mauve" & WnW "Apricot in the Middle" -- those two were enough. Buuuuut then I won a box of makeup from Samantha March over the holidays & I got the Ofra Island Time palette & a palette from the NARS Studio 54 collection.
Now... I'm learning to love it!! I'm still not ballsy enough to wear that fuschia shade [except as an eyeshadow], but "Punch" blended into "Bellini" is bold but super flattering. And "Bali" is a dark highlight for me, but I can make it work with a bronzey look! 💕
I detest the Butter Bronzer bulky packaging, but I adore the product. I even wrote the company. On how SO many people complain about the packaging. Physicians Formula replied back, but I don't see the packaging changing anytime soon. I de-potted mine & placed it in a z-palette with my other favorites. Milani baked blushes are another pet peeve of mine too.
I’m an all or nothing gal. I cannot break up collections and just keep one or two items from a brand. Hence, declutters are soooooooo hard! You have given me inspiration though 🤞🤞🤞

I love love LOVE those Laura geller blushes. I have 2, would have been 3 but it got cxld by Ulta as apparently it was sold out. I love them and I also love the ciate which I find very close in formula tbh. Maybe slightly more illuminating than Laura Geller.
about Laura gellar. I used to use her products for the longest time, especially the brighten powder foundation. I have dry skin my daughters too, but that foundation looks amazing. Kinda weird. So I just got a coupon for 30% off. Got the foundation, 2 blushes, the b&b bronzer (which I wanted so much back then ), the peach swirly highlighter (which is so stunning I can’t believe it). Now I’m wondering why I didn’t keep using her things. They are soooo good!!

When I was putting in my order w/Oden's Eye I couldn't make up my mind on which blush &eventually narrowed it down to sweet papaya &apricot girl &then decided to get apricot girl. SO glad I did because it's freaking GORGEOUS! Btw I personally feel you should keep that pixi blush because it looks very unique to your collection. Love a good declutter series. And I love seeing everyone’s collections, especially bronzer. Ever since I used up my old bare minerals one, I have such a hard time finding another I like as well, but I just didn’t wanna spend as much for a bronzer. Now I feel like maybe I should just bite the bullet haha

I absolutely love both the Becca Be a light and Chloe palettes....it’s rare when I find face palettes that I can actually use every shade! I use the large powder as a bronzer topper or a light bronzer ...works great for fair skin, especially in the winter. I’ve a so gotten my money’s worth with these guys:)

I love watching these videos! It’s so hard for me to get rid of my regular eyeshadow palettes but everything else is easy for me to let go of.
Today as I was doing my makeup, I got overwhelmed looking for a blush that worked with my blue eyeshadow look... simply because my highlighters and bronzers have expanded into my blush section. I know it's probably time to declutter, but I find it so hard. All my products are are unique, so it makes it hard to decide which ones to keep/not keep. I do, however, love watching others' declutter videos! :-)
Those blushes from Oden's Eye are gorgeous. I looked at their website and their eyeshadow palettes look lovely as well. I wish you had swatched and done a video on these.

I’d never blush drape. You’re braver than me and I’m old 53. Honestly if I didn’t watch beauty tube I’d probably think you didn’t have a mirror when you did you’re blush 😂😂 it’s a pretty neat technique. I watched a couple Lisa eldrich videos on it.
I have the tarte birthday blush too and I haven’t even hit pan on mine 😫 I always thought it was too light for me so I never reached for it (even tho you can pick out your sephora bday gift and I picked it anyway 🤪) but I only really started using it within the last half of 2019 and I really like how it looks on my skin tone!

The Tower 28 cream blushes are amazing, if you're looking for a cream blush in a compact. Magic Hour seems like your kind of color!

I repressed a Butter Bronzer and a Butter Blush. I have had no problems at all with either since. I am happy about that because I initially thought I pressed them too hard.
Try the aoa cream blushes....they are beautiful and only $1!!!
If you’re looking for cream blushes in a pan try the Bobbi brown pot rouge, there’s only a couple shades but it’s a great product 💛

For the Blush paint things you could squeeze them into an empty concealer tube (you can buy new ones lol) that way they are easier to apply!

It's okay, I'm glad you show everything you kept and everything you for rid of at the end so we could kind of see everything anyways. You did great btw! I need to declutter my stuff sok bad.. I counted my eyeshadow palettes the other day and I had 117 and I got a few more since then 😢 I love them all though and don't want to get rid of them lol! It's the same way with blush and highlighter for me too! They're my favorites!

the Laura geller ,Tartufo' Blush was my ABSOLUTE favorite I used it up completely and then I noticed its no longer available :( also I am LUSTING over the Khloe and Malika palette because it was sadly no longer available when I decided to get it..

I think my bronzer drawer is the prettiest looking, i like how brands still mostly stick to the golden/bronzed packaging.
I don't think a declutter has to be getting rid of half of your collection. If you only want to get rid of one product, who am I to judge? It is not my collection. I never unterstand why people get mad about a "bad" declutter. I think you did a great job

Ihad to take a break this decluttering all these beautiful blushes that you love is upsetting me sort of, I know that sounds really weird, but I have a huge collection of blushes I love and don't see myself getting rid of them just to get rid of some and do a declutter if I still love and use them. I think blush is one of your favorite makeup product.

News flash.. when did Ulta stop selling Laura Geller??? I was in the app to add a blush to my wish list but they are nowhere to be found. Even Macy’s seems to have limited colors 🤷♀️
They seem to maybe be going out of business or going down in product production. They've been in every sub box lately, they didn't renew a contract with qvc or hsn and they had filed for bankruptcy in the last 2 year's. A lot of people have said they've seen the brand a lot in Tjmaxx, that's hard to do now but if you see something you want id grab it.
yanassurprise she filed for bankruptcy December 2018. Her products have been sold at TJMAX and Marshall’s. I heard she has since rebranded and is still selling her products on QVC. She also has her website where you can buy her products and get some good deals but your best bet is TJMAX and Marshall’s. I’m a huge Laura Geller fan and love her products especially her highlighters, blushes and lipsticks!
