Ok it did not take six years. Em response to his press run about his daughter, Black ball him. But then MGK hits him with a verse in tech 9 record. Then EM claps back on kamikaze. So EM response was equal in its response. Media to media then bar with bars. Hahha MGK is like that guy who parachuted into the boxing ring. This diss is 100% valid and credible. Everything MGK said is basic but is so simple and it's all true. It doesn't take double time flows and inverse rhymes to make an effective verse or diss. MGK said everything that people subconsciously know but don't acknowledge despite it being mildly elementary yet still applies. It's all fact.
Facts, like when did things have to be overly complex to be good. MGK said what folk have been feeling for like a decade about Em in under 5 minutes and had some good jokes. Sounds like the recipe of a solid ass diss to me

Don’t get me wrong the diss is overhyped and is getting to much press. But it sounds like Myke is being an EM stand here. I’m with Fefo on this it’s way more than I expected. Granted I don’t think Rap Devil is all that I don’t really like Not Alike either. I think Kamikaze as a whole is super overrated it’s not bad per se but it’s not as great as everyone’s making it out to be but that aside a lot of the best diss tracks aren’t really about who can out bar who but who can lay the most disrespect at the other person. Hit em up isnt some lyrical onslaught just highly disrespectful same with Ether and same with No Vaseline not saying there were no clever lines in any of these songs but it mostly came down to who can say Fuck you the best and public perception.

1. He just called Em old (Same thing Em does all over "Nail In The Coffin" -Classic Diss)
2. He called Em short (Same thing Dre does to Eazy in "Dre Day' - Classic Diss)
3. He can't diss him while bigging him up too (Same thing Canibus did in "2nd Round Knockout" - Classic Diss)
4. Calling his Beard Weird (I can't defend that one, but Em's beard was pretty trash there for a min to be honest)

Look I'm 22 and I get our younger generation wanting to ride for the younger artist. But if you know rap history its disrespectful to Eminem to even think MGK had a chance in the first place. Eminem is a legend. I don't care if you didn't grow up with him or you think he's old or washed up or whatever he is one of the greatest rappers to ever do it period. He has nothing left to prove to anybody and is a highly respected artist in the rap community. MGK is lucky Eminem even responded to him in the first place. I was born 1995, i started listening to Eminem when 50 dropped get rich or die trying. My two favorite artists, well I have to mention Dre as a rapper but mostly producer. But damn I was only 8 years old. I got t shirts so damn big they don’t even fit me today.. The baggy clothes era, loved it.
