Pan - The MG's Glosser website says "Ultimate Insane Shine Paint Glosser is not recommended for use over coatings as it may leave behind a streaky finish" ... Any thoughts? this seems silly.

My family and friends have told me since the beginning that my detailing business is a waste of time and I almost quit and let them win. But Pan motivates me to the extreme, the way he truly loves everything from the chemistry and technology behind the scenes, to actual ‘boots on the ground’ detailing, and everything in between (including a big 3d printed dirt trap lol😂) Thanks Pan! keep it up.

Oui il y a malheureusement beaucoup de scammers sur les réseaux sociaux, particulièrement durant le temps des fêtes. J'ai du effacer des centaines de commentaires frauduleux seulement aujourd'hui. Tous mes amis RUclipsurs vivent la même situation. On n'y peut rien. On signale le tout à RUclips, mais à la quantité de gens sur les réseaux sociaux ça devient quasi impossible à contrôler.

We Love the new Uno Advance!!
Good to know! What's your favourite thing about Uno Advance?
@Pan The Organizer We test all waxes by trying to remove them to see their durability. Also to see if they hide scratches. When removing the Uno Advance it took 3 attempts. Also after removing it some of the scratches were gone. Super easy to apply with a machine and extremely easy to remove. NO taping is required on plastic which I love. We can truly tell the customer they are getting a 12-month protection if washed properly.
A new PTO video makes the first day back to work after vacation a little easier 😂

The Meguairs insane shine paint glosser will be perfect for the side pillars, there constantly getting scratched, not sure how many times I can polish out the scratches

@@PanTheOrganizer When I got my first car for Christmas in 2020, I wanted to keep it looking good and just kept learning more and more about detailing. Yours is the first channel I found that didn’t just show like a satisfying detail, but a process that I could follow and the reasons behind that process. Even now that I’ve refined most of my processes and adjusted them to work for me, I still like to watch to learn about other things that I could implement like techniques and especially new tools and products. Your channel also introduced me to Yvan Lacroix, and his tips on efficiency and everything he has learned from his decades of experience have helped me tremendously.

@@PanTheOrganizer Just watched it thankyou! Might have to get the 360 degree wall to complete the collection as I have every other product. Just tried the hose guards for the first time last weekend. Make it a lot easier to go around the car with the pressure washer hose now. Good to see these being sold in other countries as I’m based in UK!

Hi Isaac. Unfortunately I don't use ozone machines so I don't have any recommendations for the time being on that topic. Perhaps I'll look into it one day.
Thanks for the response. I recently purchased a used vehicle and it had kind of a bad smell to it. Someone suggested an ozone machine to completely eliminate any tough odors.

Hey Pan, if my drying aid has SiO2 infused in it is it okay to reuse the microfiber rag I used to apply it? I am asking this because I know you have to throw away the rags that you use to level ceramic coatings.
You only throw the towels away for true ceramic coatings in glass bottles. For the ceramic infused sprays, no problem, just wash the towels immediately after use and you can reuse them.
Of course that is a general rule, but check the label of the product you are using, in case they tell you to discard the towel in the rare case you have a spray that you can't reuse the towel (like Gyeon CanCoat EVO for example).
But those are stronger sprays. For drying aids, usually you can always wash the towels after use. Use a good microfiber detergent, like this one: bit.ly/3N5w9C5

Not all coatings are created equal. That’s why you have all these RUclips channels that like to test different products, in the quest of finding the best ones.

Oh for sure! I would never buy a black car, as it would trigger me into full OCD mode and worrying about scratches and swirls all the time haha.

Especially for those who don't want to go through proper paint correction, if they only have some light marring or very light swirls or scratches, it will be a quick fix for that for sure.
I've bought a bunch of the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions stuff and tons of Meguiars stuff. I pitted them head to head and Meguiars remains my "champion"
What specific products did you put one against another from each brand? And how did you evaluate them?
@@PanTheOrganizer I sanded a spot on my trunk and then did half the compounding and polishing with the Turtle Wax and half with the Meguiars. Subjective opinion, the Meguiars won handily.

Pan, I have a full bottle of Duraslic Speedcoat but also have FlowX. Where would the Speedcoat fit in? My car is topped with FlowX already
FlowX is a long lasting top coat. SpeedCoat would be used more like a maintenance product every two or three months.

All the products in their lineup have chemical synergy and compatibility.
Hey Pan, I purchased the Xtreme Solutions drying aid that you recommended in your product video, and I had one question. Is it "okay" to use as a drying-aid before applying a ceramic coating? It has SiO2 infused in it and I am not sure if that is going to mess up how the ceramic coating bonds to the paint.
No. Never use a drying aid before you apply a coating. Nothing that adds protection on the surface.

I wouldn’t recommend it’s use on top of coatings as it contains fillers and other masking agents that could alter the coating’s properties.

The toplife was horrible on black, dried too quickly you couldn't move fast enough to blend it, it would get tacky if you went over it, it left a very blotchy appearance, made my brand new bmw seats look like crap, luckily it is water based and will wear away. I'm really disappointed with this product, does not meet the quality of their other products, I'll be sticking with their leather shield, works great 👍, rather reapply after cleaning the leather than use that toplife ever again.
Hmmm. I did not have any issues with Top Life. What prep did you do before the application? Did you have anything else on the seats prior to the application? Did you reach out to Colourlock to troubleshoot with them?
@@PanTheOrganizer Seat was new, less than 2 weeks from the dealer, cleaned with their mild cleaner, used the top life prep and applied top life. Another follow of yours had a similar issue, and I saw another complaint on Amazon. If this was a permanent issue, I'd be in contact with Colourlock, but since it isn't, I have nothing to gain from spending my time problem solving thier new product. Use, mild cleaner & leather shield, the seats looks like they should again.

Hello ruebarb1, thanks for your comment. We are not aware of the problems you mentioned, this is the first time I've heard this. As you describe it, you installed it correctly. Still, you weren't happy with it. I can only imagine that it was too much Top Life Coating. If too much is applied, remove as soon as possible with Mild Leather Clenaer or Top Life Prep. Most of the time you don't remove everything and a thin layer remains, which is good. And if you then apply Shield (Sealend), like you did, you have very good protection. Nevertheless, we always want to be there for our customers and therefore we look forward to any feedback. This is the only way we can help. You are welcome to contact us directly. Look into Vyper chairs. They make everything in house, in the USA, made from only the highest quality parts. They build how it needs to be built and then price it. Not built according to a specific price point. So their stuff is really high end. I have had their Vyper chair for a while. It's costly, yes, but it's the best chair I have ever owned. Bar none.

Hahaha! Yeah it seems many in the detailing industry are tall. I’m 6’3” tall and Matt from Obsessed Garage is 6’1”, Larry from AMMO I think is my height or 6’2”, the Gtechniq CEO is 6’5-6’6”
