    Part 15: • Andre Rison on Refusin...
    Part 1: • Andre Rison on Father ...
    --------
    In the latest clip, Andre Rison spoke on his appearance in ESPN's 30 for 30: Broke documentary. Rison detailed spending $15,000 per week with his 40-person entourage and giving away a total of $6 million just to help various people. The former wide receiver added that he didn't have a gambling problem, but a spending problem and was never taught how to save money.
    Rison also expressed his displeasure with not being informed of the documentary's title before clarifying that he's "still spending and still getting it." He added that his spending was the result of his era attempting to turn Atlanta and the rest of the South into an entertainment hub. Rison also revealed that he's spent millions in child support for his nine children and expressed a positive outlook on the financial lessons he's had to learn over time.

      He felt guilty for having success and helped everyone around him so much that while trying to pull everyone else up around him he’d ended up pulling himself back down to their level. He also has a savior complex which is why he spent and gave so frivolously to others around him. He may be generous but that’s only because he wasn’t greedy for the right one; Himself. Dude says he bought over 50 cars in his life... WTF?!?!? He should living like a king right now

      Thing is, literally everything hes said in this interview was either so over the top insane or just random ass nonsense with no meaning whatsoever, I really have no reason to interpret him talking about “we thought Michael Jordan was ice cream” as anything other than hia I wanna MJ retired and actually became a dessert in the process. In the "30 for 30", he explained how it would never happen to him. And 3 weeks later he filed for bankruptcy.
      He was poor. Came into a ton of money. That is a very familiar story. Hopefully you gain the fiscal knowledge and wisdom before the money runs out. He spent the time rambling in an attempt to justify his spending. And admits he still burns through money the same way.

      @antoniolewis 4 года назад

      @@mrmotown1004 Yeah I'm not an expert either of course. Definitely not saying all players have it. Just saying he played from 89 until 05 and the average NFL career is about 5 years. Add those years to his time playing in college, high school, etc and that is a long time to be taking hits to the head. Back then the rules weren't as protective as they are now too. Even with the precautions in place now players can still get CTE. Aaron Hernandez had a severe case and he was only in his 20s.

    People are hating in the comments. But, it was his money that was earned legally, and he has a right to spend it however he wants. He helped a lot of people out, by gifting money, or giving them a job. He is not sitting around on skid row somewhere, and still has a pot to piss in at the end of the day. He still has all of his accomplishments and success behind him. He has nothing at all to be ashamed of. You only live once, and you can't take it with you. He can make plenty of money educating and motivating the next generation of athletes. He could have done better, but when you know better, you do better. He is entitled to mistakes as well.

    VLAD: I agree, so tell us what happened and how you felt about your first championship?
    ANDRE: Ya see VLAD what people don't know is I used to race rats and pigeons head to head a rat vs a pigeon changed my life forever.

      Smh you have to listen. He said it because he didn't know if that would be his last day on the field. Like him getting hurt from an injury or something. So he lived everyday to his fullest. Thats why he told his psychiatrist that he blows money because he had to go thru so much to get it. One hit back then would make you want to quit football. He was all over the place but he was still talking about the question that was asked.
