He's talking to people who have never had anything in their life and now they have millions of dollars and think they'll die rich. But his advice makes sense: Don't blow it- don't throw money away on things that aren't assets. Don't spend like there's no tomorrow. Keep it simple- only get what you need. House, vehicle, insurance, yearly allowance and investments. Count your money- keep track of your spending. Just because you're a millionaire right now doesn't mean you can buy whatever you want. Yes, his advice is really simplified for the sake of the soundclip, but it's sound advice for people in that situation. This man knows what he's talking about. I guarantee every professional sports star who went broke did not follow at least one of these rules.
