I'm also always impressed by foreign-born actors who pull off American accents perfectly -- Egarton is Welsh, but I would have assumed he was American.

Also, when Hollywood craps out a version of this story, it will be Jason Statham as an ex Special Forces guy wrongfully accused, who is given the deal to go undercover to find the location of the last girl, who only has two weeks of oxygen. This cat-and-mouse thriller, pitting Sgt. Gunn (Statham) against tortured madman Dr. Haskins (Steve Buscemi), is sure to captivate audiences this Summer!

The FBI didn’t have enough to actually keep him in prison for some wired reason and he was going to probably get released on appeal. Yes he did not get the information where the bodies were, but he did get him to admit the murders and tell him details that no one would’ve known except the killer! That ended up making it where the serial killer would never get out of prison for the rest of his life and that’s why they ended up releasing him.

The FBI didn’t have enough to actually keep him in prison for some wired reason and he was going to probably get released on appeal.
Yes he did not get the information where the bodies were, but he did get him to admit the murders and tell him details that no one would’ve known except the killer! That ended up making it where the serial killer would never get out of prison for the rest of his life and that’s why they ended up releasing him.
