I Am The Yarn Queen
LOL!
Welcome to Friday Fun Day!
I am sure that most of you have heard The Queen
Of England, Elizabeth II,
Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor,
passed away after 70 years on the throne.
She was an amazing person, And there will never
be another like her.
I thought in honor of her magnificent life, it would
be lovely to make crown in her memory.
I chose to use a grey color yarn, Caron Simply Soft,
because it resembles silver and has a very shiny tone to it.
Every little girl has dreamed of being a princess or queen,
living in a castle and wearing a shiny crown.
Don't leave the guys out, I am sure they also would love
to be a prince, or king, with many servants, as well.
The Crown Crochet Pattern is very simple and easy.
And it is easy to adjust to any size, so anyone of any
size head can be have a Crown.
So My Yarnie Subjects, grab your yarn and hook
and lets make some crowns, and Kings and
Queens for the day!

Perfect timing on the 👑 crown with Queen Elizabeth expiration. But how adorable 🥰 it is.
I made a couple of these for the little girls at church and they absolutely loved them. One I glued a little chick applique to it because the little girl loved chickens, so she became the chicken queen and the other one had jewels glued to it and she wore it to school to be the class princess. What fun, little girls love them for everyday wear and for dress up!♥Quick and easy way to put a smile on little faces👑

I just love this!! I want to try it but not sure about 2 strands and the foundation chain thing. Will it work with one strand of yarn? How many inches for a child?

Instead of using two strings could you just use regular yarn?
If by "regular yarn" you mean a med (4) weight, Yes, but it will stitch up much smaller.
Will this fit a five year old little girl?
It can be adjusted to any size head.
