I used an in line hook and it was so much easier that the tapered hook u r using! Thank you so much my grandson is my King and he’s gonna look amazing
Use a Susan Bates hook and it will go through tough stitches better.
Lighter coloured yarn would have been soooo helpful 🙏🏼

It's lovely pattern.. but your right..the yarn/ wool is too dark for some of us who a new to the stitches... Sorry...
I just made the newborn crown. How many rows do I need for a 3 year old and do I need to add any additional rows before starting the crown part?
Not sure why, but mine ended up with seven peaks, not eight🥴. It looks ok to me though.
