Hi Febby, thanks for your video, I did watch it from beginning to the end. I was a SQ crew for 6 years and left at COVID time. One of the reasons that I made a decision to leave is crew members like to gossip and wasting time on the things that are not even relevant to you.
So I wanted to quit and started a new chapter focusing on my own career progression. So I am in Japan and I am a recruiter.
hey! thanks for sharing your journey and experience. I resonate with what you said - I actually mentioned this exact same reason in another video where I talked about the dark side of flying. good for you for going after what you are passionate about - that is awesome :)
early!! i love your videos so much i aspire to be a sq stewardess !
aww thanks for saying that! I am glad you find my videos helpful :) all the best to you - can't wait to hear some good news 💌
I participated in extensive training to be a flight attendant.
One of the speakers was a Lufthansa employee (a lady), with many years working as a flight attendant. When you mentioned the lavatory full of poop it reminded me of her. She said it's not the flight attendant's job to clean up in this type of situation, although we know that in certain practical situations things can be so extreme that we need to do something. I'm glad you didn't have to clean up that mess.
Another horrible situation is vomiting. I don't know if you've experienced this type of case onboard a flight.
Any very famous artists on any of your flights? Or even someone you truly admired coming onboard.
OMG I can't believe the poop incident is something that was discussed in your training as well! agree that it could be a tricky situation. as for vomiting - it's unfortunately something that happens way more often, we even have a proper kit on every plane (and were trained on how to use it)...
I don't have lots of luck when it comes to meeting celebrities 🥲 someone I remember meeting was Manny Pacquiao who's a professional boxer. it's memorable because he's got the entire production crew filming him while he onboarded my flight lol
@@febbylyan Yes, the Lufthansa lady mentioned this. She told us just to lock the door and direct pax to other lavatories! Pacquiao is the famous Filipino boxer, right? I remember reading a book of a female flight attendant who had actor Cary Grant onboard. She wrote on her book that she loved him so much, she got there in the galley admiring Grant from the distance! None of her co-workers knew him so it was a very lonely situation for her!
You are my inspiration ❤
aww this is such a sweet comment 🥹 I am glad you found my content helpful in some way!
Hey, i got shortlisted but they asked me to loose weight as my bmi was 24 and gave me scanner to fill form when I’ll be ready again for bmi round . They told me i will just have to clear bmi round again and took my application .Do you have any idea how much time they wait or how they will reach me again when I’ll fill form after loosing weight ?
I have no idea actually - this sounds like a quick question you could ask the recruitment team when you submit the form they gave you. all the best - hope you clear the BMI round soon!
Febby were you a flight attendant on sq368 27 June 2016?
Fun fact the plane was a 777-300ER
no I wasn't part of the crew members on that flight, I just know the incident very well. you are right - it was a 777 plane!

❤❤👍
Does airlines tell you to clean the poop as well 🥲
id choose to evacuate😭
righttt what a terrifying moment 😰😰😰
EVACUATE, EVACUATE, EVACUATE!!!!!!!!!!! I’m surprised they chose to stay on board.
I was literally eating chocolate muffins while watching your video & your first story appeared… 🤢
OMG 😂 not the best story to eat choco muffins with for sure
Poop party 🎉😂
😭😭😭
Oh my god.. 💩🎉
The first story is absolutely disgusting and you were the attendant who had to discover it! Having deportees on board must be stressful.
I know right?! 🤢 ya most of the time deportees were being deported because of visa issues so that's still fine, but for the incident I shared in this video, it was pretty intense yes!
The decision by the tech crews were correct. No one was hurt. The conclusions was its best testimony.
agree with you :) also, sounds like you are very knowledgeable in this - which is very cool!
