You have given me the idea to make this as summer PJs. I don’t usually like rompers, probably because I have only had ready made, I have a high waist so the fit is uncomfortable. Sewing opens options. Love the slash and spread, lovely alteration,
I want to make the kids version for my granddaughter! Yours with the slash & spread pants look beautiful! I’m too old to wear a one piece romper like that; I need to make it in 2 pieces for fast powder room action. 😂 Thanks for the tip about next week. 💕
Karina, I always say this, but I am really, really impressed with this! I already have the pattern, but the style seemed too casual for work. This is so cute 🥰 I can wear this at work and play. I appreciate the explanation about the grain line and showing the slashing and spreading to achieve that elegant flare.
Really pretty! I made this pattern too…but I had trouble getting my 4x hips through the xl neck. Now I’m wondering if I used rayon spandex if it would work for me? I wound up adding ties to one shoulder with faux tie on the other so I was able to wear it.
Your version looks great on you - as usual! 😊 You don't sound very well so I hope you aren't feeling too sick. I am looking forward to seeing your next video!
I love your hack!! I just got this pattern from a sewing subscription and I wasn't sure about it. I think I'll have to play with the top a bit, but I'm totally going to try the slash n spread!
Love what you did with the shorts! The narrower legs always put me off that pattern, this is a fabulous fix. Can’t wait to see what you have up your sleeve to style it with next week!
I made this romper last year. I used a single knit jersey, which was probably not quite as stretchy as the pattern needed, so I really had to wriggle to get in and out of the garment. I ended up opening one shoulder seam. I finished it with woven bias tape and used buttons and buttonholes for closures.
I really love how you altered the romper. I made this pattern two years ago but did not like it because it felt like pajamas. In my case the neck line got a stretched out also. How did you prevent that from happening?
Love the bias, I'm in the UK and trying to track something similar. Did you make it yourself or does it come on a roll, is it 30mm ? Keep up with the great ideas
I made binding from a knit and cut on the straight of grain. Regular bias cut bias tape will not work with a knit style like this. I make all of my binding.
I don’t talk about this because it will be different for everyone according to size and width of the fabric. If I say an amount, it will Probably be too much or too little for someone else.

Love your Sunday romper hack! It's a style I think I could also wear. Thank you, Karina!
So cute! Very clever idea.
Love your romper. I'd prefer wearing it like that too!
This turned out so cute!
Love your hack! Very inspiring - Thank you!!!!
Looks great. I like the wider legs. Red is a great colour.

Always so inspiring Karina
Love it!
Love the hack!
Very nice hacking! You've manage to take the romper to almost secret pants. Secret pants is about as close to wearing a dress or skirt as I get.
Really great idea, Karina. I think I will follow your suggestion, looks really comfortable. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful ❤ love your ideas of cloths…

I love this! Would wear this and thank you!
So cute! And im excited for next week!

Really cute, Karina! It fits your style so well, and the fabric is lovely.

This is a really good option, thank you for a great content as usual. Your romper looks really nice on you.
Looks lovely on you Karina! Could the hack work with other loose fitting shorts patterns? 💐
Yup. For sure. Then you add the same original waistband or facing because that is unchanged :)
I really love how you altered the romper. I made this pattern two years ago but did not like it because it felt like pajamas. In my case the neck line got a stretched out also. How did you prevent that from happening?
Nice. Add a black belt.
I’m imagining pockets on the side seams.
Do you think this could work in a woven fabric? I'm a beginner and can't sew knits!!! Thank you for all your videos BTW. I've learned a lot from them!
No, it will definitely not work with a woven. You won’t be able to get it. The drafting is for knits and so is the sewing.
Love, love your hack. I love culottes and will try making one. Thank you for sharing. ❤Bulverde , Tx

@@LiftingPinsandNeedles thank you sweetie
What about when you have to use the bathroom ?
You just pull it down. I don’t mind that at all :)
How much fabric did you need for this
I don’t talk about this because it will be different for everyone according to size and width of the fabric. If I say an amount, it will
Probably be too much or too little for someone else.
Rompers require so much fitting for me. Ugh
