That was great Katrina! I have bought many Love Notions Patterns since I started watching you. I found that Love Notions is not very far from my house. I’m so proud to have their business in Illinois. Thank you for introducing them to me.
Like you I live in a very hot climate and am planning my next Rhapsody sleeveless dress now. I adore this pattern. I really like LN Patterns and own quite a few. Thanks for the bias tips. 💗🌵🇺🇸
I love that you talk about the different fabrics. And the texture. All of your fabric was Beatiful. I am a strong believer that the fabric choice can make or break outfit and how will it drapes or fall
Karina, every time I tell myself I have enough patterns, I see one of your videos and immediately buy more! 😂 I have looked at this pattern a few times, but seeing all your versions, I realize this is going to be exactly what I've been looking for. Thank you so much. I love all your videos and your makes are so beautiful and professional. 😍
You're my go to when I'm sewing love notions patterns. I'm happy for this video as I have the pattern cut out and waiting to be sewed but I wanted to rewatch your previous video on this make and what a lovely surprise you've made another video on this lovely pattern.
Beautiful Karina.....I have so much rayon challis that I am going to make 2 more tops with the neck facings you showed in the video....thank you for all your time you put into your videos for us!
I've just purchased the pattern with your affiliate link. I was hoping it would be the first $5.00 pattern for spring, and my dream came true. I missed out the last time it was on offer, so I'm very thrilled to get it this time around, especially since I knew that it's your favorite too. Thanks for sharing all the gorgeous makes from this pattern. It's really so exciting to visit your channel, especially on Friday's when Love Notions have these great offers... Thanks for the great content Karina, as always, you're simply amazing...!
Thank you so much, Karina. This video and your up close camera work were so helpful to figure out how to attach the bias tape (made myself using your continuous bias tape tutorial!) and I'm following you step by step.
Stunning Rhapsody's Katrina! Thank you so much for sharing, they are all beautiful. I am new to sewing knits with a serger and have yet to try using wovens. Yet all of your makes are very enticing to try with this pattern. I truly appreciate you sharing all of your videos and your tips too you are a great asset for Love Notions patterns and sewing and your love for this craft shows through in your knowledge and your apparel. Thank you!
Just finished my second muslin. In between sizes and just or not in the need of FBA, I had to try some, to find out what size works the best for me. Wish I had used a nicer fabric for my second, as the fit is perfect. The video is very motivating to continue and make some Rhapsody out of my nice fashion fabric.
Karina, you do amazing work. Can't decide which is my favorite. I do love vertical stripes just because I think it's more slimming but they're all beautiful. I used to sew for myself alot more when I was younger and slimmer but now I have a hard time making a pattern fit my body. I've tried grading but can't seem to get it right. I'll just have to keep watching your videos cause you're a great teacher. I'll have to try this pattern, I'll let you know how it turns out. Have a great day!!❤
The Rhapsody is a looser fit so it doesn't involve as much fitting as other patterns. Definitely give it a go and let us know how you get along! Happy Sewing! ~K
All so lovely. Thank you. I used your affiliate link to give it a go. I’ve never tried sewing chiffon before but I might just try it thanks to your inspiring words. 🥰
@@LoveNotions Thank you for the encouragement. I have been watching for chiffon to go on sale and today I saw that Fabric Mart is having a $1.99 a yard sale. I bought 3 pieces to give the Rhapsody blouse a go.
I have had the Rhapsody for a few weeks and finally printed the pattern and cut the fabric out on Thursday. I have just finished the neck today using your tutorial. Thank you so much. Love your tutorials.
Karina I loved this video and your work that is so beautiful. You have inspired me to make this pattern very soon. I do have some fabric in my stash that’s just waiting for the right pattern. Thank you. Barb.
Thank you Karina. I'm just about to make the Rhapsody blouse and wanted to brush up on my bias binding sewing as it was probably 30 years since I last used it. I love all of your blouses and once I do the first one I will use that chiffon in my stash. I'm now off to see if you've got a video about how to make continuous bias. I know I did learn how to do this so many years ago. The way you explain things is so good though. Maree, Sydney, Aus.
I just bought that pattern a week before the sale. If only I had known. Thank you for all of these tips and ideas for this pattern. Your makes are is so pretty.
I couldn't resist this pattern and the cadence pattern also ended up falling into my basket 🙂 Like the idea of facing as an alternative to the binding. Thank you for another great video.
Karina, you are so very lovely. Just enjoy listening to you and your sewing is beyond beautiful. All you Rhapsody's are just so pretty and interesting. I am about to make my first and you have given great instruction. They are all your favorite! I have one question which I hope you will answer. I noticed on the back you gathered instead of a pleat which I really like, matches the front shirring. Did you add anything to the width to get the fullness on the gathers? They are so beautiful as you are!
Yes Karina is an absolute delight and her Rhapsodies are indeed lovely. I don't believe she added any extra. Most people who made that change have just gathered the area that was meant to be pleated. Hope that helps!
I just bought this pattern with your affiliate link. I love your videos. Thank you! Can this pattern be made successfully with cotton shirting fabrics? Thinking of starting with the sleeveless blouse first as we're getting into very hot weather here now.
Cotton shirting might be a little heavy for it but if you don’t mind the gathers having more volume it could be ok. Cotton shirting does not drape at all so you won’t have a floaty look.
What kind of slip do you wear under your chiffon dresses? Which fabric and pattern please. I have chiffon waiting to be sewn but have no slip so haven't taken the plunge yet.
Thanks for showing how to do those hanging pieces on the rhapsody. One question, at the bottom of those hanging pieces will the bottom of them be raw, or folded under at the bottom? I hope that makes sense.
Karina, have you made a rhapsody with a Breckinridge Henley neck line? I bought a blouse years ago and that’s what it looks like. I want to reproduce that blouse. Thank you
We haven't seen that hack. That hack will require combining knit and woven patterns which can be quite tricky but if you do try it, please be sure to share with us! ~K
I think you would absolutely enjoy this blog post: www.lovenotions.com/rhapsody-pattern-hacks You can do the binding continuously so you skip the ties and create a cute little triangle keyhole. ~K

Oh yay! Enjoy sewing your first Rhapsody! ~K
Beautiful Karina . So helpful . Love all of the makes . Such good value!

Sleeveless Rhapsodies are essential for warmer climates! Such a versatile pattern! 🙂 ~K
For those of you in a cold climate, like me, I made a rhapsody out of flannel. I LOVE it!!!
Sounds cozy! I want to make a nightgown in rayon twill with plaid checks soon :)
Great idea, I live in the PNW and I would definitely get a lot of wear out of one (or 3).
Brilliant!
Yes! Flannel is perfect for a winter Rhapsody indeed! ~K
Did you use flannel for the neckline tie, or did you use something thinner? Think I have to get this pattern.
Thank you for your instructional videos, your instructions make it much clearer for me.
I’m so glad the video helps :)
So happy this was helpful! Happy Sewing! ~K

Fabric is so important and it’s a bit of trial and error. Thanks for watching 😊.
Fabric choice is definitely important! And it's super fun to try patterns in different fabric types too. ~K
