Fixing to buy box truck with no lift gate. Planning on getting a lift gate as soon as I get the money. How often do y'all use your liftgate and is it possible to get started without one ?
We started with no pallet jack and we were fine. Brokers will let you know if one was needed

Where do you get your tag/ registration from? Local tag office or do you have to go through FMCA?
Your tag comes from your local tag office. Once they understand what kind of truck you have they will advise on the appropriate tag

We didn’t need a MVR for the binder but we needed one for our safety audit. We didn’t worry about it before then for us but if your hiring drivers make sure to pull theirs

And what ppl don't understand most of the time that amount doesn't go towards your purchase. I found that out when i purchased my trailer, and paying it off early saves you nothing. So if you have cash PAY CASH!!!!

I believe so. But I got my authority, boc3 & ucr all at once. Might as well.
You need to apply for the authority first, you will need the DOT number and MC number to get your BOC3 and UCR

Yes, it's called an Annual DOT inspection and it needs to be done every year.

You s copy of your C.O.I. then you said "Official" C.O.I. Now whats the difference?
There is no difference. Not sure without going back to watch the video but it’s the same thing. If I remember correctly she had her declaration page and we needed the COI. That’s what brokers want to see
